Family get-together

Chloe's POV

"Red? Are you alright? You look..anxious." I said as I watched Red stare at nothing with a blank face. "Red?!" I raised the volume in my voice. "Huh? What's wrong?" She said snapping out of it turning her head as her eyes locking on mine. "I could ask the same thing. What's wrong?" I questioned. She was silent for a brief moment before speaking up. "Nothing. I was just shocked at your suggestion that's all." She replied, her voice steady and emotionless. "Well, we definitely don't have to if your not ready!" I offered but she immediately shook her head "no,no I want to, but I feel like we should invite both our families.. yours and my mother." She was hesitant at the thought. "Of course we can princess but is something else worrying you?" "Well, it's just that my mom might go ballistic and whatever.. I know she said she'll treat me better but I still don't know how much I can trust that claim." "Red my love, your the one who told me that it's your decision on when to tell your parents" a smug grin plastered my face. "I know I know! But.. What if she goes back to the way she was.." she said as she looked down at the floor. "If she does I'll be right here beside you, I won't let her hurt you again Red." She laughed at my corny comment and I smiled at her gorgeous little laugh. "Thank you bluey" she hasn't called me that in a while. "Shall I call for a carriage?" I asked her reaching for my phone "yea, go ahead" I called for a carriage while red reached for her phone but hesitant to call.

Reds POV

I made it seem like I was only a little nervous and anxious. But I lied, I'm terrified! Horrified even. I have to call my mother and tell her to meet at Cinderellas castle for a "chat" oh my gosh. My nerves are through the roof. I reached for my phone and hesitated but called her.

Mother: "yes dear? What's up"

R: I was just wondering if we could meet at Cinderellas castle at 11.. sorry it's such short notice.

Mother: don't worry. I'll be there soon.

I sighed releasing the breath I was holding my gaze directed at Chloe as she said her goodbyes and see you soon to her mother. I nervously smiled at her as she looked at me with a sympathetic expression. "You're going to be fine love." She said reassured. "I hope." I said fiddling with the ring I had on my finger. "I guess we can just chill for now, the carriage won't get here untill 11:30" she said walking over to the couch taking a seat beside me. I rested back on the arm rest like how i was earlier and Chloe laid back down on my chest, I think she noticed my heart pounding rapidly because she lifted her head to lock eyes with me. "Red." She said stern "yesss..?" I replied anxiously. She put her hand in mine and her other hand on my cheek, caressing it with her thumb as her gaze softens. "Your going to be just fine alright? I promise. My whole family will be there and we have guards basically everywhere around the house. She won't hurt you or try to take your head." She said chuckling at the end. "Thank you Chloe" we smiled at each other as my heart went back to a normal rhythm.

-Time Skip-

Reds POV

It was 11:26 so me and Chloe started heading down to the main entrance of the school. As we waited outside for 4-3 minutes my foot was tapping on the floor as the anxiety started to rush back. Chloe held my hand in hers making me relaxing me a bit. At exactly 11:30 the carriage pulled up and the driver came out opening the door for Chloe and I. "Watch you step princess charming, and.. princess charming's friend." He said as Chloe giggled a little. "Her name is Red, she's from wonderland!" The driver nodded in understanding "My apologies princess Red." I got a chill down my spine as he pronounced me as my Royal title. I smiled nervously walking in the carriage behind Chloe. We sat next to each other side by side, our shoulders touching, i rested my head on her as she placed her hand down on my leg. I have no idea how I could hate this girl. We arrived at Chloe's house- no, mansion and were greeted by the guards "welcome home princess Charming! And your friend is?" One of them questioned. "This is red, The princess of wonderland." She explained. I saw the guards tense as they heard "princess of wonderland" it's fine tho, I would be scared of that place too. As we walked through the doors me and Chloe heard laughing and mumbled chit chatting coming from the kitchen. We looked at each other with the same expression and she lead me to the kitchen to where we saw My mom and her mom laughing and having the best time. "Mom?" I said looking at her intensely. "Oh darling! You guys made it, come come take a seat." She gestured me and Chloe to sit down at the counter where the two colorful women stood on the opposite side.

Chloe's POV

I was just as shocked as Red, do our parents know eachother or something? Me and red took our seats and looked at our mothers who were smiling at eachother and laughing, having a whole conversation with just eye contact. Me and Red looked at eachother nervously. "Uhh, do you guys know each other?" I asked as they both finished their laugh "OH! We never told you did we?!" Reds mom questioned as me and red both shook our heads in unison. "Well, when we were your age we went to Auradon prep, well it wasn't called that at the time which I'm sure you know about, our childhood is your history!" My mother said as her and Reds mom burst into laughter.  Me and Red still confused as ever and blank faced. "Oh gosh this generation has no humor.." her mom mumbled. "Okay girls as we were saying. We went to school together and we were just inseparable! Almost like you two now that I think about it. We were just in here catching up and remembering all the trouble we got into." My mother explained to us. "Trouble?" Red questioned. " well, I would get into some tiny arguments with this girl Uliana, she was just so horrid to Bri here." My mom said as Bridget smiled awkwardly "yep, I was way to nice back then." Bridget said laughing, i looked over to red and her jaw was on the floor. I laughed at her and closed it shut as she looked at me, her eyes widened in shock. "Anyways girls, why did you want to meet so soon? Shouldn't school be getting out in a few?" My mom questioned me and Red "well mom.. we wanted to tell the both of you something, important."

Reds POV

My mother and Cinderella looked at each other then back at us "is something wrong? Are you girls okay?" Cinderella asked with curiosity in her eyes. "We are fine but we wanted to tell you both something that we think is pretty important, and we wanted to do it at the same time so we can get it over with." Chloe said looking back and forth from our mothers. "Well what is it?" My mom questioned. Shit I should probably speak up. I've been pretty silent. "Me and Chloe..uhm.." I stumbled over my words. I couldn't spit it out, I can't find the right words. "What are you guys in love with eachother or something" my mother joked and Cinderella chuckled. Me and Chloe just looked at eachother nervously then the realization hit them both at the same time. "Oh! Oh my, were you guys going to tell us that? Is that why you two are so serious right now?" My mother chimed to us both but her eyes locking on me causing me to tense up. "M-Maybe..well, yea." I replied still staring into my moms eyes. My hands starting to tremble as I waited for her response. "Girls, wasn't it obvious?" My eyes widen in shock in unison with Chloe. "What?" Chloe said softly "well I mean. You guys are inseparable, you never stop holding hands or being touchy as if one of you will fly away if you let go for too long." My mother chuckled as me and Chloe smiled nervously and awkwardly. "We were just waiting for you guys to finally say something so you don't have to sneak around anymore." Cinderella replied with a smug smirk. "Mom your, okay with this? I mean a month ago you hated the fact I was even sharing a room with Chloe.." I questioned hesitantly. "Don't remind me, I'm perfectly fine with it dear. You never really seemed to like the boys you dated anyways. I'm just glad your the happy girl you were when you were a little." She had a smile plaster planted on her face. "Chloe, not to sound rude but. I always knew you were gonna be into women, it was very obvious. I offered you a prince and you ran away from him within the hour!" Cinderella chuckled as Chloe blushed in embarrassment. "You would see the girls up on the TV and say "why are the girls always with ugly guys" her mother implied "OKAYY. THATS enough.. so you guys are fine with us just-" "yes yes we are perfectly fine with it, before you even walked in we were having a conversation about it." I was beyond embarrassed at this point. Chloe grabbed my hand and waved goodbye to our mothers before dragging me up to her room. Planting her self on her bed she let out a sigh of relief. "See I told you your mother would be fine with it!" She said looking at me as I just stood at the doorway admiring her room. It was so organized, books on shelves, clothes hung up or folded neatly. Her desk was beautifully set up. It was all so organized. "Oh, I forgot you've never seen my room, like it?" She questioned with a smile. "I love it, it's so organized and pretty." I answered finally walking in the room closing the door. "Say where's your brother? I thought he would be here." "Honestly I thought he would be here too, who knows" "CHLOEEE!! CHLOEEEE!" I masculine blonde boy yelled bursting into Chloe's room and jumping on her bed, he looked horrified, like he saw someone's head getting chopped off (get it) I laughed to my self, I'm so funny. "What- i thought? What do you need Chad!" She said trying to get the words out properly. "THERES A HUMONGOUS SPIDER IN MY ROOM." He yelled. "Okay, what do you want me to do?" She said getting off the bed she recently placed her self on. " KILL IT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.." he begged. Damn this kid is a wimp. I stood there trying my hardest not to laugh since he didn't even realize he had an audience. "Go get mom to kill it Chad. Or put on ur big boy boots and do it your self, I have company so get out" Chloe pointed to me. Chad looked away from Chloe to where his gaze met mine. He immediately jumped out of bed and fixed his posture to make him look more mature and intimidating. "Nice meeting you?.." "red, Princess of wonderland." I just wanted to tease him. "PRINCESS OF WONDERLAND??!" He screamed. "SHES HERE TO COLLECT OUR HESDS" he shouted gripping Chloe's arm and dragging her behind him. "STAY BACK. YOUR MOTHER SENT YOU HERE TO COLECT US DIDNT SHE." He questioned as Chloe was dying of laughter behind the blonde boy. "Yea, she did. And your not making my job any easier now are you." I teased inching closer to him as he trembled in fear. "STAY BACK. BACK I SAY BACK!" "Your gonna lose your head anyways so you can come with me or I'll call the guards to-" "Red! Stop harassing this poor boy. Look at how scared he is!! Don't go around telling people that." My mother interrupted walking into the room from all the yelling and shouting. I turned my head to her with a smug grin as Chloe was in the corner of my eye, weak in her knees from all the laughing. "WHY ARE THEY BOTH IN OUR HOUSE!!" Chad yelled once he saw my mother "Chad sweetie, they aren't going to chop off your head and they are not taking you or us back to wonderland." Cinderella implied as Chad was blank faced. Not a single thought between his eyes. "That's not what red  said just now.." Chloe murmured under her breath. "Chloe! Have some respect, you know your brother is sensitive." She rolled her eyes as I laughed at her scolding.

Chloe's POV

After Our mothers and Chad left the room it was just me and Red. I was honestly just as shocked as her once our mothers told us we weren't very.. hidden. Then continue to embarrass us in front of each other. "Cinderellasburg is very different from wonderland." She implied. I was sure it was but I wanted to hear her point of view. "Oh yea? How so" I said taking a seat in my egg chair. "Well for starters there aren't any talking flowers. Who do you talk to when you get lonely? And also! There's no roses that can kill you or spell you with their thorns." She answered, my gaze not leaving hers as she wondered around the room picking stuff up and inspecting them. "Well you and I are very different, so are our backgrounds" I replied to her claim. "Yes I realize that now! I wonder if because our worlds are so different what do you think the isle is like?" She questioned turning to me, her eyes sparkled as the sun seeped into my room. "Well why don't we go find out princess?" She smiled excitedly and grabbed me by my hand and dragged me down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mother and Bridget were still chatting. Why does everyone keep dragging me around.. my heads staring to hurt! And my arm! I thought to myself "where are you girls going in such a hurry" My mom stopped mid conversation and questioned . "THE ISLE!" Red yelled excitedly. I have no idea why she's so excited when wonderland is like the isle just locked up.. and more gory, and prettier. "Oh my.. girls please be safe, the isle may be unlocked but don't forget the worst of villains are still living there. So be careful please, watch your surroundings." Bridget sounding a little worried. Which is shocking for her, me and Red are still getting used to all of this new kindness thing she's got going on.

Reds POV

I'm so excited to be going to the isle! I've never been before because well, I was technically trapped in wonderland in many different ways. Me and Chloe got hurriedly jumped into the carriage and went down to the space between the isle and Auradon. We got out and started walking down the long path since the driver was to much of a pussy to drive all the way. It was fine tho, I wanted to take it all in,savoring every last minute. "Are you excited red?" Chloe questioned as she smiled with heart eyes. "I'm very excited Chloe, i wonder what it will be like!" I replied looking out to the Water that was miles and miles far. We reached the Isle and it looked better than what I heard, but that's probably because the barrier was closed off a few months ago. We saw a shop called "curl up & dye" weird choice in name when you read it aloud. We walked in and saw Dizzy sweeping up colorful shreds of hair. "Hi Dizzy!" Chloe cheered as Dizzy turned around taking off her headphones. "Oh hii! What brings you girls here? Looking for a cute new hairstyle?" She suggested with the biggest smile on her face. I can tell she really likes doing makeovers. "Sure I'm down" i chimed in. I took a seat in her chair and let her work her magic while Chloe sat in another chair beside me on her phone. " hmm.. what do you want to do?" Dizzy asked as she spun me around to look in her big mirror. "not sure, just whatever make me feel like me yk?" I said grinning "I had a client who said something similar.." she brought out mini trim scissors "what's that for" I questioned a little skeptical of this idea. "Ur ends and dead, when they die you get it trimmed so ur hair can grow longer" I nodded in acceptance as she trimmed my hair and started a process of "art" so she says.

After half an hour she spins me around so I'm facing towards the mirror. My hair was black with my money pieces dyed and it was beautifuly curled with multiple layers. I loved it. I looked over to Chloe with the biggest smile and her jaw was practically dislocated. "Do you like it?" I said obviously knowing her answer. " red.. like is an understatement, I LOVE IT OH MY GOSH!!" She said as Dizzy chuckled behind me. "Chloe you wanna get something done? Your blue looks like it could use something.. I could give you something like reds if you like" she offered "sure, maybe I'll go more.. natural!" Chloe responded.

Chloe's POV

I'm sitting in the chair as Dizzy fixes up my hair making them look more realistic and I see red in the corner of my eye spinning rapidly in her chair having the best time of her life. I laugh slightly at the sight of it. My hair was starting to look way more natural, at first I didn't really know how to feel about this whole idea but I trusted the process and I'm already obsessed. I kept noticing Red looking over at me with heart eyes as I just sat on my phone the whole time, unless dizzy re-positioned my head. An hour later she spun me around like how she did Red and my hair was perfect. My hair was a darker brunette with dark blue highlights to blend in a little near the ends and middle, one of my curls in the front being a full blue which made it stand out perfectly. "Oh my gosh dizzy! You really know how to work with hair!!" I cheered feeling around my hair, I pulled out my purse and gave her $200 paying for Red and I. She squealed in excitement as her eyes widened while counting the money. Me and Red thanked her and headed out wanting to check out more of the isle. While looking around these two dirty kids ran up to me trying to steal one of my rings and Reds phone, why are their grips so perfect omg? "Hey! Get off them will you? You want something nice go over to Auradon and get it your self." A voice said as me and red looked over to see another darker blue woman and a purple woman walking up to us, the kids immediately letting go. " sorry Mal and Evie." They said walking of into a crowed of people. "Thanks for that" I said "yea, I was trying not to kick it off me." Red said shoving her phone in her pocket. "No problem girls, hey! You guys are Chloe and Red aren't you?" Evie said smiling "uhh yep! How do you know us?"I asked as me and Red looked back and forth from each other. "Everyone from the isle knows you! And Uma, the principal of Auradon told us you two would be attending." Evie said while walking with us"Well, that makes sense i suppose." I chimed in as red nodded in agreement. "What brings you two princess to the isle, mostly you Chloe. Everyone knows Red is a rebel when it comes to her mothers orders" Mal laughed with Red. "Well we wanted to see what it's like over here, we've never been." Red answered her question after she stopped laughing. "Oh well there's not much to see but it's improved a lot ever since Evie and I  lived here."

Reds POV

After walking with Evie and mal for a few we parted ways as mal had to get back to her royalty duties and Evie needed to design some outfits for something called Catilion? I don't know. Me and Chloe wandered around the isle trying new foods and meeting some former students who also attended AP! After a long day we walked back down the bridge to Auradon and as soon as we stepped on campus the loud speaker cut on.

LOUD SPEAKER

Chloe and Red please make your way to my office please. If your not here within 10 minutes your walking the plank.

Me and Chloe looked to eachother in horror as we sped walked to her office. We walked in to her Uma sitting at her desk pinching the bridge of her nose while two pirates stood on each side of her desk. She looked frustrated.. "girls! Your here. Have a seat please." She gestured for us to have a seat in the chairs placed in front of her desk. "Did we do something wrong?" Chloe said worried, she's never been in the principals office for something bad so her nerves were through the roof. I didn't real care. "Well, I've gotten various reports saying that Chloe is breaking others belongings and assaulting other students. Which doesn't sound like you at all but unfortunately they had evidence." Chloe's eyes widened in shock and horror, who did she punch again? I remember it was a boy maybe? "Chloe we can't allow you to assault anyone or break belongings here at AP. Unfortunately I-" "was it Kai?!" Chloe shouted in realization and curiosity "it's anonymous. That doesn't matter, I'm going to have to suspend you for three days. You'll be in your dorm from tomorrow to Thursday."
