Eventful

Leah's POV

~~~~~~~~~~~back in the hall~~~~~~~~~~~

When Red shoved me out into the hall I was face to face with Ruby, her eyes were fixated on mine, her beautiful brown eyes had me in a trance of allure.

She started to stammer over her words as she tried to speak, her hands fidgeted against each other while her eyes fluttered. "Take your time sweets." I said snickering a little.

She took a breath, calming her nerves and before I knew it I felt her lips on mine, at first I was shocked but I kissed her back.

Her body was close to mine as her hand rested on my cheek, my hands made their way to her waist resting my palms on her curves gently.

We stood there for a moment before we broke the kiss, realizing we had to get back to class. "Can we talk when we get to the dorm?" She asked hesitantly, as if I'd yell at her for asking. "Of course princess." I said before taking her in the class. We took our seats and watched as Red and Chloe had a little moment.. whatever that was.

Ruby's POV

Leah and I just got back to the dorm, we walked with Red and Chloe but as usual they were in their own world. "So.. that kiss, what was that about sweets?" She asked with a smug grin, poking fun at me because of my words last night.

"I like you, Leah, I just.. I think I needed some help realizing what that really meant. Red told me to trust myself when it comes to feelings like this, so I am. I want to give us a try. If that makes sense.."

I talked breathlessly, just wanting to get it all off my chest. Once I did I felt pounds lifted off my shoulders as if it were a secret I'd been dying to tell. "I want to get us a try as well sweets, and we can take everything slow." She assured me, grabbing my hand and caressing the back. "So we're like.. a couple?" I asked smiling a little at the thought.

"Yea.. I mean I guess, I don't really care.." she joked in somewhat of a douche bag tone, looking around the room jokingly. "Don't even" I laughed punching her arm lightly. "Yes Ruby, I am your girlfriend and you are mine and we'll live happily ever after." She informed, kissing me afterwards as our pinkies overlapped on the bed.

Red's POV

I'm sitting in the dorm with Chloe and Neve, I'm not sure why she's here but it's not like I can do anything about it. Neve was super close to Chloe, touching her hand or trying to engage physical contact.

I don't know if Chloe was playing along or if she was being serious, because she was just as touchy.

It made my blood boil, the way they talked as if they've been best friends for years, the way Neve's hand touched Chloe during each laugh. Their eye contact was unbreakable, like they'd been dying for each other's company or worse.

I was trying not to think of scenarios since I know myself and I don't want to get jealous over something so.. small. "Red, how come you're all the way over there? Don't you want to come talk with Chloe and I?" Neve said in more of a taunting voice, not sure how Chloe didn't catch it but I for sure did and wasn't buying her crap.

"No. I think I'm going to stay right over here." I spoke bluntly, rolling my eyes in the process of speaking. "Red? What's wrong?" Chloe asked, still over with that frosty bitch.

"Nothing." I lied coldly, it's not something I regularly do anymore but there's no need to be rude to Chloe, frosty on the other hand though. "It's fine Chloe, maybe she's just in her feels because I'm here!" Neve shrugged, laughing at her statement.

"I'd never be upset about you, nor mad or agitated. Chloe I'd be upset over her, ofc, but never a frost bitch like you. It's cute you think so though!" I snickered, sitting up on my bed still looking at my phone. "Red that was a little rude." Chloe said in a softer tone.

I didn't give a shit, and I know frosty didn't either, she was just putting on an act. "Yea, why so Rude, Red." Neve said shocking me with a bolt of dry ice. "Ouch! Fuck you, frosty!" I yelled getting up from the bed. "What's the mater wonderland, can't handle some ice?" She asked, but before I could avenge myself Chloe interfered. "Guys quit it. It's fine Red, Neve don't hit Red with your ice."

It sounded as though she was taking frosty's side, like I'm in the wrong for trying to defend myself. "But it's fun to watch her tremble and shake! You can't tell me this isn't funny!" Neve said, immediately a huge gust a cold wind with flakes and frost burst past me, causing me to shiver and tremble. "What the fuck." I said annoyed at her. "Neve quit it." Chloe spoke blunt with a straight face, which made Neve look disappointed at her failed attempt to make her laugh. "Fine.." the breeze stopped abruptly but I still felt cold. I laid back down on my bed, scrolling on my phone just waiting for the moment Neve steps out the door.

After minutes of annoying laughing and strange ice flying everywhere Neve left.

It had just been Chloe and I which I was thankful for. "Do you actually like her." I sat up, asking Chloe who still looked happy. "Well, she seems fun and nice! I shouldn't have been so rude earlier, I think I'm gonna give her a chance." She said, sitting on my bed with a smile. I stared at the girl, my face was straight but had a hint of disapproval. "I know you don't like her but that doesn't give you a right to be rude to her." She noticed my eye roll, and it kinda does give me a right. "Even after she put me in a snow storm and hit me with a random ice bolt? I'm the rude one. Yea okay." I rolled my eyes, I laid back on my pillow turned away from Chloe.

"Red that isn't what I meant. What she did was.. bitchy, but she was just trying to be funny!" She put her hand on my leg, I brushed her off in the nicest way I could but that still wasn't nice enough.

"Yea well I didn't fucking laugh. Look I don't know what you see in that frosty bitch but I can see right through her act, she isn't your friend Chloe. She just wants to use you, for what exactly? I don't know yet." I exclaimed to her, she looked confused and offended I'd say something about her new "bestie." I didn't give a shit when it came to Neve. "Alright, if that's how you feel." She got up from the bed and went to sit on her own. We haven't slept apart in a while so I was a little upset she left me, but I guess she had a reason.

I cut out my light and laid still in my bed, I wasn't sleep but I was thinking.

Was I really in the wrong? I'd like to think Im not but maybe I was just being rude again. I don't want Chloe to be mad at me or to think she can't have other friends because that's just not the case, I just don't want to see her get played or used by someone who obviously has intentions of hurting her. Chloe has a fragile heart and she's already been going through a bunch of stress and anxiety with Kai, and I don't want Neve to be one of the reason she's having terrible nightmares.

I just know for a fact Neve is up to something, she always is. Suddenly I saw the light from Chloe's lamp go off and heard ruffling in the bed, footsteps reaching over to mine and Chloe getting into bed beside me. I felt her body on mine and her arms around my waist, her breath was light as her head rested on the pillow close to my neck. "I thought you were upset with me." I said quietly not trying to startle the girl. "I couldn't be mad at you, not over something so little." She kissed my neck after her words. Again my face heated up, I felt tingly and warm. "Goodnight love." Chloe said in a sleepy tone, as she held me just a little tighter than before. "Night princess" I smiled at her nickname for me.

Neve's POV

I really like Chloe, I guess. I only want her as a friend and that's my only intention, unless she wants to something more.. wait, if we got into a relationship then I'd basically be a real princess of the charming's! Sure mom is queen Elsa but to be heir to the throne of the charming's.

The only person keeping us apart is that Red girl, Chloe hates when I speak the truth on Red or down play her petty attitude.

Red is getting in the way of everything and I know just how to get Rid of her, or at least keep her away, she doesn't realize I'm stronger than her by like.. 100. Just because she has those silly cards doesn't mean anything, at least not to me.

I walked down to the library which is always open after hours weirdly. It was dead silent in there, normally you hear books being re-arranged on their own, ladders moving all by AP magic of course, but not tonight, it was eerie.

I walked over to the section that was all history about my mom and aunts past, and there journey of.. I don't know.

Looking through the books I saw the book about the trolls, which was a personal favorite, I saw the book about Anna's and Christoph's "love journey" on trying to find my mom, which I also loved reading. then I saw it, the book my mother always kept me from afraid I'd used it for bad or would grow off her actions, well she was right. I pulled the bulky book from its shelf and went to a nearby desk with a turned on lamp.

Taking a seat I opened up the book, flipping through the pages quickly scanning through until I found the one I needed. While flipping I came across a page that said "All about the frozen heart." I knew I wasn't going to be able to mast that in one night, but it would give me some idea of what I'm doing, it'll help make me more away of my ice.

After hours a reading and practicing I was beat, ready to head back to my dorm and ponder about how I'd put this plan into motion, or if I even wanted to.. maybe it's to extreme, well it's not like Red wants to be my friend so there's no reason for her to third wheel on Chloe and I's friendship. I closed the book, yawing while putting it back on its shelf.

When I made it to the dorms I walked past Chloe's dorm, I looked at the door as if I were looking through it. Thinking about all the memories we'd make and new friends maybe.. along the way! Finally making it to my frosty room I shut the door and locked it, the knob freezing a little at my touch. I laid in bed still so excited about the day ahead of me, forgetting all about the Red thing that gets in the way of everything.

I mean you, shouldn't feel bad that I'm doing this, she was and still is a rebel and a bad person, bad people don't deserve anything in this world. If anything I'm doing Chloe a favor, once Red is gone Chloe will finally realize how wrong she was and that I'm better as a friend, and a gf maybe.

Chloe's POV

I woke up feeling a warm body close to mine, I noticed the Red haired princess sleeping peacefully.

I started to get up slowly, not trying to wake her up but she held my wrist gently stopping me in my tracks. "We need to get ready, princess." I said, brushing the strands of hair out her face.

"It's too early." She said in a groggy sleepy voice. "It's 7:00 princess we need to be in class by 8:30 and you need to eat breakfast." I said while pulling her out of bed while she groaned and grunted.

"Quit being dramatic!" I laughed while picking up the sleepy girl, she wrapped her legs around my waist over lapping them and her arms her over my shoulders.

Walking over to the bathroom I cut on the shower, letting the water run for a moment to get warmer for Red. "You need help showering to?" I joked as I set the girl on the sink counter, standing in between her legs. "Not from you, princess." She smiled as she held her hand under my jaw, causing my head to tilt up a bit to meet her at eye level. "Be quick, I'll be out here organizing my desk, and my bed!" I said excitedly at the thought, patting Reds thighs before leaving her, shutting the door behind me.

After minutes of Red and I showering (not together, after each other.) We were on our way to the cafeteria, Leah and Ruby were hand held along with Red and I.

"Hi Chloe!" I heard a familiar voice say.

I looked to my left to see Neve casually sliding beside me on an ice path. "Hi Neve! How'd you sleep?" I asked the girl, snickering a little at her approach. "I slept great! I can't wait for school today, I think it'll be a good day." She sounded confident about today, I wonder why since she never really liked school if I wasn't there.

"Really? You think so?" I smiled at her as she nodded her head excitedly. I noticed Leah and Ruby looking at the sliding ice girl with questionable looks and Red, who was on the opposite side of her, had a look of annoyance. I squeezed the girls hand twice letting her know it's fine and to just be nice, she just let out a small sigh. "Something wrong Red?" Neve asked, creating a slide path next to Red. "No.. can I not breathe around you or something?" She said bluntly, I just stayed silent. "Hmm.. nope!" Neve taunted her with a flurry of snow. "Neve quit." I said to which she did, transferring from Reds side to mine.

We walked for a moment before Neve was in front of us, tormenting the freshmen with ice paths. I didn't find it appealing so I didn't say much, if anything we all ignored her.

Once we made it to the cafeteria where breakfast being served the girls found a seat while I took Red to get some food, I noticed she hadn't been eating much. A cereal bar maybe but not a full meal, I wonder why she has these episodes where she just doesn't eat.

I got a tray of hash browns, sausage and fruit while Red just stood beside me. I was sure to get a little extra for her. "Red you need to eat something." I said firm as we walked to the table with our friends. "I'm not all that hungry this week." She informed, she looked spaced out as if she weren't here mentally. "I noticed, you've eaten little to nothing since Saturday, it's Tuesday. So I need you to eat a meal today please." I said and she didn't reply, not a nod or a mumble.

Once we sat down Leah and Ruby left to get food, I tried offering a hash brown to Red but she shook her head. Then I tried offering her a grape and she declined again.

I started to get frustrated with her not eating, she wasn't taking care of herself and she's already as skinny as it is.

She goes to the gym at least three times a week and still doesn't eat which doesn't help. "Red." "Chloe." She said after me. "Eat! You look pale, you haven't eaten a real meal since last week." I said, she looked a little frustrated but I just needed her to eat.

"I don't want anything, I'm not hungry princess." She tried telling me again but I wasn't exactly taking no for an answer. "Red I know you're hungry. Everytime you don't eat your hands start to tremble, you get light headed every time you get up and your stomach starts aching. Eat." I pointed out all the things I noticed in the last week.

She looked at her hands that were trembling and smiled at my correct observations. "You notice the little things don't you?" She asked, impressed that I would notice something so small, it was big to me. "Only when it comes to you princess." I said giving her a hash brown which she reluctantly accepted.

The girls came back down and I noticed when Ruby saw Red eating she smiled.

"Finally eating Red? I thought this would go on forever." Ruby said relived but also in a joking way.

"Shut up. You were just the same a few months ago." I looked at both of them confused, Leah looked just as confused as me.

They were both such skinny girls but so strong. Just as I was about to speak up about this eating issue Neve came by our table, freezing the hash brown Red was just about to take another bite into. Red dropped the hash brown and rolled her eyes as she glared Neve.

"what? It's just a joke. I'm sure you weren't hungry anyways. Right Red? It's a recurring problem for you." Neve ridiculed which made my blood boil.

Red scoffed and left the table, storming her way out the cafeteria. "Why would you say that?!" I yelled at Neve for her actions. "It was just a joke what are you mad about? Not my fault she took offense."she said getting defensive, as if I was in the wrong for pointing out her hypocrisy.

"Look if you're going to keep doing or saying fucked up shit to my girlfriend, then I can't be your friend." I said firm.

She scoffed rolling her eyes. I looked at Ruby and Leah who looked stunned at what had just happened. "I'll go check on Red. Don't kiss untill we get back." I said walking out the cafeteria, searching for my Red.

I checked the bathroom and heard sniffing, there was a girl in the stall which I assumed Red was in there but I didn't want to say anything, or it'd be weird if it weren't her.

I stood near the sink waiting for her to come out the stall, I guess when she heard me walk in she got frightened. It was silent for a moment before I heard shuffling around and sounds of a phone case being clipped back on? I wonder what's going on in there. After a minute she came out the stall, tears rested on the rims of her eyes, her arm was red and starting to drip. I grew worried for her as she just looked at me stunned, as if she didn't know I'd be in here for her.

She covered her arm behind her so I wouldn't see it but it'd already been too late. "Come on princess, let's clean you up." I said softly, letting her know I wasn't upset in anyway.

I gestured her over to the sink and she looked confused, like my response wasn't the one she'd been known too. "Something wrong?" I asked as she walked near the sink with me where I ran some warm water.

"You're not mad? You won't yell or shout?" She asked, hesitant of my answer. "Why would I be? You haven't done anything wrong." I said, rinsing the remaining crimson from her arm, she flinched a little. "If anyone has done anything wrong it's Neve. She has no right to talk about you or to you like that."  I said firm while cleaning up the last bit of crimson and patting her arm with paper towels.

I looked at the newly installed scars and couldn't help but feel a little guilty, I should've said something before Neve took it too far. "I'm sorry." She said as we walked up to the dorm for some wraps. "Don't be sorry princess, not to me nor yourself." I replied, holding her hand on the way to our dorm. "Promise you're not mad?" She asked, still hesitant. "Pinky promise." I smiled a little, she held out her pinky unexpectedly, I hadn't done a real pinky promise in a while. I stood still as I interlocked our pinky's, sealing the promise that'd never be broken. "I'm not one to break a pinky promise but are you?" I asked smiling. "I haven't broken one since I was 6." Red said lightly bumping into me jokingly. Finally we made it up to our dorm and I got a few wraps and wipes with the wiping alcohol. "Sit princess" I asked, pointed to my desk.

She took a seat and I stood above her, pouring the alcohol on a towel. "It'll sting okay?" I warned her ahead of time. She nodded her head and I kneeled down, getting on her level to dab the alcohol on her wrist. She winced a little, moving her arm at the sudden burning sensation. "You're okay princess." I said reassuringly as I wrapped her arm. We heard the bell ring and started to get going. Red rolled down her sleeves to hide the emotional scars, I looked at her with sympathy and held her hand down the hall.

Reds POV

I wasn't having a tantrum, I just don't like talking about my eating issues or being ridiculed for it by anyone I'm not extremely comfortable with, like Ruby since we have the same issue. It seems babyish to cry about a little insult but I guess it just threw me off. "You're late." The teacher pointed out, as if we didn't fucking know that already. "No sh-" "yes! And We are very sorry, I.. I had an emergency, and Red just helped me sort it out." Chloe cut me off from my remark, her lying is terrible but if the teacher believes it then he's gullible. "What kinda of emergency? Are we talking." He pressed us, by this time the class was staring at us. I saw Neve in the corner of my eye, glaring at me with a grin. "I don't think that's any of your concern. Be glad we even showed up." I said taking Chloe to our seats. "Alright then. Class flip to page 145 in your text books and read the paragraph in fine print."

I wasn't reading since I didn't care about potions or what bottle you should use for an elixir. Chloe was  reading though, while I was bored. "You okay princess?" She asked as she continued to read. "Mhm." I said as I saw Neve still glaring at me, what was her deal today?

~TIME SKIP~

Chloe and I left for lunch, we went out into the court yard and sat under a tree, there were benches around but they were already full. Ruby and Leah sat not far from us, playing around in the green grass field with little white flowers.

"You okay princess?" Chloe said as she handed me some of her fruit, I nodded my head and took the fruit from her, eating it reluctantly. We saw Neve passing by, it looked as though she were looking for something, or someone. That someone was Chloe, she spotted out her blue hair and once she found her she looked more happy. Her expression quickly changed after seeing me with her, I'm not sure what she expected since Chloe and I are attached. "Hii Chloe!" She swooped in, taking a seat next to Chloe. "Hey Chloe." Neve said cheerfully, "hey Red." She rolled her eyes as she greeted me.

I didn't reply though since I don't like her.

"Look I just wanted to say that I'm so so sorry about what happened earlier, during breakfast. I shouldn't have said something so cruel and I'm genuinely sorry." Neve said, she sounded really sincere but I hear right through her fake facade. "Bullshit." I said blunt, not eyeing the girl.

"Red!" Chloe said, not loudly but she seemed ashamed I didn't accept her apology. "What?! You really expect me to believe this bitch is really sorry. She's only apologizing because she doesn't want to make you upset." I exclaimed, I knew I was right because Neve snarled at me, Chloe turned to face Neve to see if it were true or not and she quickly changed her expression. "Neve?" She asked, looking for a certain response.

"Of course not, I really am sorry Red.. I.. I have trouble sometimes. Y'know?.. I can come off so rude and-" She tried to give me a sob story but I just couldn't give a shit. "Yea I don't fucking care and I don't buy it. Chloe if you believe this snake, you're just gullible as that teacher." I walked away, hearing Chloe call for me once as I walked back inside. It was time for class anyways so I went to my locker.

I saw Chloe glancing at me, just as she was about to walk over Neve blocked her path, walking with her to her next class which I assumed they had together.

As much as I wanted to skip school I couldn't. I sat in math not paying attention but drawing, adding illustrations to my drawings as well. I got tired of sitting in class so I raised my hand, waiting for the teacher to call on me "can I use the bathroom?" I asked hesitant that'd she say no or get upset with me. "Go ahead Red." She said cheerfully, I always liked my math teacher even though I hated math, she doesn't have it out for me like these other teachers.

I got up and left the room, walking down the hall to the bathroom. In the corner of my eye I saw Neve just standing around. She had a menacing grin which made my skin crawl, I just went into the bathroom and let the door shut behind me.
