Chapter start

" Mom Dad, don't you both think that she really loves bhai so much, otherwise no girl puts any man above her self-respect." Aarav tells Simran and Raj.

It is night time, Ansh is in his room but Aarav comes to his parent's room and talks about Advaita once, And he makes them understand that Advaita really loves Ansh otherwise despite being rejected by Ansh repeatedly, she would not have come here without worrying about her self-respect.

" She came here with so many hopes but both of you did not support her." Aarav further speaks to which Raj and Simran look at each other and share a look that they had no idea that their younger son is so mature.

And yes, Raj and Simran also understand that Advaita's love is true because the way she came here, talked to them, it would not have been easy for any girl, she must have really gathered a lot of courage before coming here but still the thing is same that even if they wants to they cannot help Advaita because they cannot force their son to love someone back.

" Aarav, you are right but we cannot force Ansh, beta..." Raj explains to his younger son

" But dad...

" No, And I am telling you also, which will be useful for you in future....No relationship can be formed forcefully...For the happiness of one person, the happiness of another cannot be sacrificed. The basis of a relationship is love and a relationship that is forced can never last....Maybe it will take time for Advaita but she will forget Ansh." Raj tells Aarav

" I agree with you but it is not a matter of force here...okay we can't force Ansh but Ansh's stubbornness is also not right." Simran says, on which Raj Aarav looks at her

" He is adamant that he will never get married, life cannot go on like this... I agree that he has to achieve his goal but why ignore other things for that....?

I think Advaita is a good girl...She loves Ansh, so Ansh can at least give her a chance...he may not marry her right now but he can at least date her...he can at least try to understand her, the whole life cannot be spent with books...sometime or the other he will feel the need of a life partner to share the things of his life." Simran says.

And obviously Raj agrees with his words but at the same time he doesn't know how to explain this to his elder son.

" And I don't understand, everyone in our entire family is so cheerful...how did my own son become so grumpy....This is all your fault, he has completely gone to you, he has all your qualities." Simran speaks while glaring at Raj and Aarav suppresses his laughter seeing his father getting scolded by his mother and he understands that now he should leave from here.

" Mom, you are absolutely right, so now Dad, it is your responsibility to explain all this to your elder son..." Aarav says and before he gets scolded for giving advice to his father, Aarav runs away from there.

" Simran don't worry, I will talk to Ansh about this." Raj tells Simran after Aarav leaves.

" It would be better, otherwise this boy will ruin his life because of his stubbornness...not everyone gets a girl who loves him so much." Simran says to which Raj smiles

" But I have found someone who loves me a lot." Raj says while leaning towards her to which Simran smiles

" Yes, you found the one who loves you so much but what about me, I got the grumpy one, now I am bearing it for the rest of my life." She says teasing him to which he glares at her.

" Now you don't have any option, you just bear with me." Raj says to which Simran makes a face but then both of them smile looking at each other.

Some days pass.

" Tumhara dimag kharab hai ? there are only 2 days left for the wedding and you are saying that you don't want to get married, you like someone else." Siddhart, Advaita's father tells her this when today Advaita finally gathers courage and tells her father no to the marriage that is happening against her wishes.

She thought a lot in the last few days. The day she went to Ansh's house and when Simran Raj also refused her saying that he does not want to force Ansh in any way, since then she did not meet Ansh again.

Since that day Advaita has started feeling more troubled, her only hope was Aarav but now she does not see any hope of help from Aarav either because Aarav tells her every time that she gives him some more time, he will convince Ansh but now she has only 2 days and she is not able to understand what to do and so, seeing no other way out, today she clearly told her father that she does not want to get married where they have fixed the marriage because she loves someone else.

" Didn't I ask you, do you like anyone, why didn't you say anything at that time and today when there are only 2 days left for the wedding you are saying all this." Siddhart speaks further to which Advaita stands silently in front of him

She is in her parent's room where her mother is also present.

She doesn't think it is appropriate to say this in front of her grandmother, that's why she is talking only to her father.

" Nothing can be done now, you will have to get married, it is a question of the honor of two families... The cards have been distributed, Mihir's family has made all the preparations." Siddhart speaks further, making Advaita aware that what she wants cannot happen

" Papa please.... Advaita says, her eyes are moist... Yes, if she had told all this earlier then her father would not have refused, but now it is really too late.

" Shalini, keep this in mind that from today onwards she should not leave the house, now she will go out of this house only on her wedding day." Siddhart says this to which Advaita gets shocked and Siddhart does not listen to anything further and goes out from there.

Both mother and daughter look at each other and Shalini too is helpless because it is really too late for her to say this, now it is a matter of respect of both the families.

And also it is a matter of Siddhart's friendship, now if anything goes wrong then Siddhart's years old friendship with his friend will break.

Advaita turns to leave in anger but sees Arjun standing at the door, well, Arjun has also heard everything, And he feels bad for his sister, but he is so young in age that he cannot go against his father nor does he help his sister in any way.

Next day.

The scene is of xyz College where students, staff, professors etc. present in the college are seen roaming around.

Reyansh after completing his class goes to the library but due to some reason the library is closed so he decides to go to the canteen and spend some time before his next class starts.

Another reason for him coming to the canteen is that he hopes to see Aaira there, because mostly Aaira spends her free time here....and he knows she doesn't have any class right now so maybe she is here.

Reyansh, like in the initial days, does not go to Aaira's class after finishing his class to talk to her because somewhere he has understood that no matter what he does, she will not talk to him, so to avoid her mood getting spoiled after seeing him, he stays away from her.

He sees her once or twice throughout the day in the college and he is happy just seeing her from a distance.

Here in the canteen, Aaira is with her group of friends which includes some boys as well and in that group, 2-3 boys and girls are her seniors as well.

To pass the time, they play Truth or Dare and during the game, the bottle falls on a senior who's sitting in front of Aaira.

" Okay, so senior you must know the rules of the game..." says one of Aaira's classmates while the senior's eyes are only on Aaira sitting in front of him

" Yes, and I will take the dare..." he says

"Ok so since Aaira is sitting in front of you, you will have to fulfill your dare with her...And your dare is that you have to kiss Aaira." Aaira's eyes widen on hearing these words from her classmate.

But at the same time, Reyansh enters the canteen and as they were sitting near the entrance, Reyansh hears the girl's words, which makes him angry.

And at the same time, Aaira's eyes also go to the entrance of the canteen where she sees Reyansh and she can see that he is not looking at her in a good mood.

" Ise abhi hi aana tha, ab kya Karu..." Aaira thinks.

" Aaira it's just a kiss, come on senior complete your dare..." she says to him when Aaira protests a little.

" Yes Aaira, anyway, don't worry, I will just kiss you on the hand." Her senior says and Aaira again looks at Reyansh who is still standing at his place looking at her angrily and suddenly Aaira remembers something on which Aaira smirk.

" Ok." Aaira extends her hand towards her senior and says, to which Reyansh gets shocked, how can she do this.

And further Reyansh's blood boils when he sees how the guy holds Aaira's hand and kisses her knuckles, Jealousy, anger fills him up but he knows he can't do anything....he bites his lip to control his anger and Aaira looks at him again where he is giving her a look that he did not expect this from her and further Reyansh does not stop there but turns his steps and goes back from there which Aaira sees.

And here Aaira regrets her own antics, she would never have done this if he was not around but his entry was at the wrong time and despite her unwillingness, she had to give her hand to her senior, only to make Reyansh jealous.

" Yuck, this sanitizer will not do anything...today I think I will have to clean my hands with Harpic only." Aaira mutters as she walks down the college corridor, cleaning her hands with sanitizer.

She is cleaning the place on her hand where the boy kissed her.

She is walking alone in the corridor but suddenly she flinches in her place when someone comes from behind and holds her hand and before she could understand anything, she sees that it is none other than Reyansh and he is holding her hand and taking her with him.

Aaira tries to stop him but Reyansh takes her straight to an empty classroom and closes the door, which shocks her.

" What is this nonsense, how dare you touch me..." Aaira shouts at him who turns towards her after closing the door

Aaira gulps when she sees his anger filled eyes, For her, today might be the first day when she has seen anger on his face instead of his sweet smile.

She takes a step back when she sees him taking a step towards her

"Look, don't come near me or else...

" Else what? Will you shout? Then shout, because apart from that you don't know how to do anything else." Reyansh tells her and there Aaira's steps stop as she hits a bench and due to which she loses her balance and falls and sits on it.

And before she gets up, Reyansh comes close to her, places his hands on both her sides and imprisons her on the bench and leans towards her dangerously, Their eyes meet and Aaira's heart starts beating faster and after staring into each other's eyes for a while, Reyansh speaks

" I am not saying anything, that doesn't mean that you will do anything...and It would be better for you not to get close to any other guy except me, otherwise...." He is unable to say anything further when Aaira cuts him

" Otherwise what ? And who are you to tell me all this....we are nothing...we are just strang..." She speaks to him looking intensely into his eyes, but she is unable to complete her words as he cuts her off.

" Dare you to call me a stranger one more time and I will kiss you right now and show you how stranger we are." He says this to which she gets shocked but her next words shock Reyansh.

" So do it, do it na, do you have the guts to do what you are saying..." Reyansh looks at her on hearing her words, Well he can do what he is saying but he knows his limits.

And saying this, Aaira puts her hand on his chest and pushes him away from herself, upon which he stumbles and Aaira gets up from the bench and stands in front of him.

" What did you think, that I will get scared of your threats and then I will start agreeing to everything you say." She tells him

" I am not scaring you, but warning you....and okay, today your revenge must have been completed...we are equal, now please forgive me." He says to which she looks at him but then ignores him and starts walking away from there making a face.

But now he can't tolerate her behavior anymore.

"Okay, don't talk to me... Now, from today onwards I will never talk to you." Seeing her unchanged behavior towards him, Reyansh says this to which she turns towards him

" We never talked anyway." For some reason today there's a pain in her eyes when she says these words because in reality both of them have never talked to each other but still there is something between them due to which their paths meet each other again and again.

Even if one wants to stay away, both of them somehow get connected.

" Yes we never talked because you are holding on to old things and punishing me for a mistake that I never committed. It was all your misunderstanding and nothing else." Reyansh reminds her of her misunderstanding to which she glares at him

"Enough of your nonsense, should I leave now?" says Aaira unaffected by his words.

" Go away, I will never trouble you again." Reyansh says and stands up showing his back to her and the jealousy and anger that was inside him now combines and flows down his eyes, which he wipes immediately.

And there Aaira looks at his back but then immediately goes away from there.

It is night time.

Reyansh's eyes are still moist remembering some things, he really feels bad that how she talks to everyone, smiles with everyone, except him, that too when both of them know somewhere what they mean to each other.

He is wiping his tears but at that very moment his mother knocks on his door which alert Reyansh, he closes the book open in front of him and looks at the door where his mother is coming in with a glass of milk

But Priyal sees his face and panic seeing his red eyes...She sits opposite him on a chair in front of his study table and places the glass of milk on the table and cups his face

" What happened bachha, why are you crying..." Priyal asks, now even though he has wiped his tears, but from a mother's eyes, a child cannot hide his sadness for long.

" No, I am not crying." Reyansh says in his choked voice

"Your voice is choked, your eyes are red and you are saying that you are not crying...tell me quickly what happened..." Priyal asks again to which Reyansh looks at his mother and cannot suppress his feelings.

" Mom, she talks to everyone except me..." he says to which Priyal understands who he is talking about and she sighs.

" Beta, you do one thing..." Reyansh looks at his mother on hearing her words

" What?" He asks

" Tum thoda sa ro hi lo.... because I can't help you in this matter." says Priyal to which Reyansh makes a sad face

" Mom....

" What, mom, all this happened because of you, so why are you crying now..." Priyal scolds him, to which Reyansh looks at her

" You know I still think about it.... if you had not broken your friendship with her then today you both would have been best friends just like me and Avni...It would have been so nice if our children would have been friends too...but you spoiled everything..."

" But now I am saying sorry to her..." Reyansh speaks

" What is the use of saying sorry now. you have made her sad. You know in childhood how possessive she was about you, she did not like to share you with anyone, She befriended you with all her heart but you hurt her by choosing someone else...so now suffer." Priyal tells him to which Reyansh doesn't understand how he can bring back that Aaira in his life who was possessive for him.

On the other side.

Aaira is lying on her bed, she is looking at the ceiling of her room And tears are flowing from the corners of her eyes because she is remembering some old things.

She closes her eyes tightly when she sees a vision of a girl kissing a boy on his neck and that boy is none other than Reyansh.

This is one thing she always remembers whenever she sees him.

And today she has taken revenge for this very thing, someone kissed him in front of her, so today someone kissed her in front of him.
