Chapter start

Aaira stood at the water's edge, the gentle waves lapping at her feet, her heart is overwhelmed with emotion today.

Right now she is with Reyansh on a beautiful beach, where the crowd is slowly increasing as it is evening time.

After the college, she decides to come here with Reyansh to spend some more time with him.

And standing there, Aaira glanced over at Reyansh, who was collecting seashells, his carefree laughter echoing in the salty air.

Looking at him, there is a light soulful smile on her face as she thinks about something.

Really, The day she spent with Reyansh today is no less than a sweet dream for her, From her childhood to growing up, she has always wanted to enjoy every moment spent with him, but she always suppressed that feeling, showing her anger towards him.

But today, finally the day has come where she is completely happy with him.

She has been with him since morning

but she is still not satisfied, she wants to spend more time with him.

But she knows that after some time both of them will separate because both have to go to their respective homes.

" Look at this one!" Reyansh called out, holding up a brilliant conch shell.

Hearing his voice, Aaira comes out of her thoughts and goes near him and sits next to him on sand and takes the conch in her hand which he had found on the beach.

" Yeah, it's pretty," She replies, looking at the conch that he has found.

" But not more than you." Reyansh says looking at her, to which Aaira sees him and their eyes meet and she slightly smiles shooking her head in disbelief on his answer.

" You are crazy, Reysu." she says to which he smiles but wait, Reysu ? His smile dims.

" Reysu ?" he asks to which she smiles

"Yeah, cute name isn't it? Just like you." she says pulling one of his cheeks to which he makes a face.

" Don't do this, I am not a kid." he says to which she slightly pouted

"And who said only kid's cheeks are pulled, Reysu ?" Saying this, she pulls his cheek again to which he glares at her.

Whatever he forbids her to do, this girl does it even more.

" Huh, But what is this Reysu, no, no, I like it when you call me your Sunshine, so call me that." he says to which she smiles

" Well You are my sunshine but look, Reysu is not bad either...and everyone calls you Rey that's why I thought I should call you something else but then I can't call you "Ansh" of Rey-Ansh because obviously that's bhai's name so I thought of this name for you."

She says to which he smiles that she thought so much to give him a name.

" hmm, It means, Do you keep thinking about me all day long.?" he asks teasingly when she says she thought about him to which she looks at him.

" Ab wo....There is nothing like that." Saying this, she gets up and about to go away from there, on which Reyansh quickly gets up, catches her wrist and stops her on which she sees him and he smiles.

" Come on, let's sit here." he says, to which she smiles and then both of them sit there on the seashore.

But Aaira's heart suddenly starts to beat faster when Reyansh makes her sit in front of him and he puts his chin on her shoulder wrapping his hands around her and placed his chin on her shoulder but in this process his face is so close to her neck that she can feel his every single breath he exhales on her skin.

Well, from the beginning she never knew how to feel shy around him and even now she can't that say she is feeling shy of him, but his growing closeness with her is giving her countless butterflies in her stomach which flutter whenever he is close to her like this and today, ever since he kissed her on the neck, his closeness to her is giving her goosebumps.

Because it wasn't like he kissed her neck and then immediately removed his lips from there, No, he kept his lips on her neck for at least more than a minute, she felt the slight wetness of his lips on her skin and due to all this, she can still feel his touch on her neck.

But at the same time she smiles remembering his decency because even though he had told her that he would take revenge for her biting by biting her today but this guy is one who knows his limits.

And staying within his limits, he expressed his love for her but did not do anything that would make her feel embarrassed.

And that's why at that time, instead of biting her, he gave her a soft kiss on her neck and made her feel overwhelmed by his action.

He knows that she has to go back home: and that's why he does not do anything with her that would make her feel embarrassed in front of her parents.

His biting and marking would definitely make her feel embarrassed in front of her parents, he knows that.

" I told you before, you don't need to become someone you're not." In the crowded beach, with her sitting so close, Aaira tells him while looking at the waves of the sea.

She knows what kind of a person he is, he feels weird doing something like this in a crowd but now, just for her happiness, he is changing himself.

" And didn't I tell you before that I will be the person you dreamed of." He says against her ear which brings a smile to her face.

" Well but I want this person in front of the family." she says teasing him because she remembers very well that, why he behaves differently with her in college and in front of the family.

The college crowd, and now the crowd here, don't know them, but the family...

" Hmm, In front of the family, you will have to give me some time." He tells her the truth without lying because it is obvious that he is scared to get close to her in front of her family, especially in front of her father Neil, and he is not denying this fact but he knows that this thing will also end with time, but right now he needs time from her for this.

And she smiles at his words and then there is silence between them, both are enjoying the view in silence, as the sun was setting and the atmosphere was getting darker, while Aaira gets lost in nature watching the waves of the sea, Reyansh gets lost in her, slowly inhaling her fragrance in his breath.

" Can I ask you a question that I have been wanting to ask for a long time but didn't know how to ask." Breaking the silence between them she says to which he just replies "hmmm"

And there Aaira feels a slight shiver down her spine when she hears his soft husky voice in her ears all of sudden, but then she composes herself to ask him her question.

" Even after topping the school, why did you take a break instead of doing something good?

Why did you waste your year sitting idle?" She questions him but somewhere she knows the right answer but still she wants to be sure.

She won't like it at all if his answer is what she's thinking.

" To be with you." That's all he replies, again against her ear, to which she closes her eyes, her guess being proven right.

He shouldn't have done this.

" But you should not have done this...why did you waste your time for me."

She turns slightly in his arms, looks up at his face, where their eyes meet, and asks.

" I am ready to waste all my time in which you are not with me.

I just want to cherish and live the moments when you are with me." He gives her an answer being all serious which shocks her a bit, but then after thinking for a while she says

" Don't you think we are too young for to say such things?" Seeing him say such a big thing, she asks the question in a slightly joking manner to which he looks at her, his expression softening.

" Not at all, what do our conversations have to do with our age, whatever I do for you, whatever I say, it is all what my heart says.

I know we are very young but now I'm very sure I don't want anyone else except you so obviously I will do anything to be with you, So for that I have to waste my year or do anything, I will do it.

In love, age does not matter, if something matters then it is true feeling, honesty towards each other." He says and she silently listen everything he says in his melodious voice and he continues while cupping her face

" I always wanted to be with you, but that was not possible in school due to many reasons, but when I got a chance that after waiting some time I can be with you, So, I didn't miss that opportunity, I took a break so I could be with you and see, today we are together for the last two and a half years where I tease you everyday." He teases her about the last two and a half years they spent in college and how he teased her all the time, to which she smiles.

" Fashion was not your subject either, did you do that too for me?" She questions him further, because apparently he had earlier taken admission in BBA but then came into fashion.

And he just smiles at her question and from his smile she understands that the answer is yes. She is really surprised at his sacrifice just to be with her.

" You are really crazy and I am an idiot." She says while hitting his forehead to which he first smiles but then says

" Hey, Don't call my girlfriend an idiot." he warns to which she smiles

" Well your girlfriend is an idiot who wasted so much of her time being angry and ignoring the love of such a lovely person," she says

" I have said it before, it's okay...we have a lot of time ahead.

And to be honest, that phase was fine too, a little bit of bickering but now it's just love." He says to which she smiles

"You are truly a sunshine, you spread a positive light in every darkness with your positive thoughts." she says to which he smiles.

" And you are my moonlight who removed the darkness of despair in my heart with the soothing light of your love.

At one point of time even my positive thoughts were about to give up, I thought maybe you would never forgive me but look where we are today." He says to which she smiles and their eyes lock.

" Should I give you what you want from me?" The feeling with which she says these words makes Reyansh understand what she is talking about.

" Well, I am waiting for that." While replying, he shows his cheek to her, on which she smiles.

" Close your eyes." She says shyly to which he looks at her confused

"Seriously, when did you start blushing?" he teases her seeing her shyness.

" Shut up and close your eyes." She tells him again, ignoring his words to which Reyansh does not tease her anymore and then quietly closes his eyes.

But once again seeing his dreams shattered, he gets annoyed when Aaira lightly bites his jaw instead of kissing his cheek.

And before he realises Aaira came out from his arms and runs away from there after biting his jaw.

" Why are you tormenting me so much?" Saying this, Reyansh runs after her but while running, Aaira suddenly stops when she sees a PaniPuri cart and turns towards Reyansh who is about to reach her.

" Well look, we will do all this later, first Pani Puri." She says panting a little due to running to which he looks at her taking some breathe.

" Ok, ok, I will definitely give you an answer for this betrayal." He says this to which her face turns red, well after today she understands that he will take revenge for her bite by kissing her.

It is a good deal. She thinks while blushing.

" Won't you eat it?" She asks him not seeing him not eating the panipuri and before he can answer, Aaira continues

" Please don't say you don't like it..." she says to which he looks at her

"I really don't like it, Mujhe spicy chize nahi pasand." he says.

" Toh fir tumhe main kaise pasand aa gyi ?" She asks immediately bringing a smile on his face, well she knows, not much but her attitude is a bit spicy.

" Well, you are not just spicy, you are a mixed flavour which has sweetness, sourness and sometimes you become bitter too." He says the last words honestly, teasing her, to which she glares at him, which he chuckles at.

" By the way, from whatever you have told me today, don't think that I will make any sacrifice for you." With a teasing smile, she tells him while eating panipuri to which he looks at her in confusion

" See, you are perfect as a fictional boyfriend, but I am a little selfish as a real life girlfriend." She says to which he sees her and she continues

" Well, I can do anything for you, but yes, love and studies have their own places, so the day I top, don't feel sad about losing your position Mr. Topper." She tells him winking at him to which he smiles.

" Not just that day, I will always be very happy after losing to you." He says

" Uff, ab bas bhi karo, rulaaoge kya..." On his goodness and sweet words, she says dramatically while wiping her fake tears to which Reyansh also laughs shooking his head on her antics.

" Anyway, you will top the exam because I really don't understand this subject. Somehow I have managed to complete two and a half years and now I have to somehow complete one and a half years more." He says to which she looks at him.

" Now, don't say it like that." She says to which he smiles.

Later, at around 7 pm Reyansh drops Aaira home after having a great time at the beach.

Reyansh stands outside the gate of the Khanna house, slightly bent over and sitting on the seat of his bike, waiting for her to go inside.

" If not a kiss, at least give me a hug before you leave." As soon as Aaira is about to enter the main gate of the house, Reyansh says from behind, upon which Aaira turns towards him

" I just hugged you, right ?" Aaira says giving him a look as she hugged him before going inside.

" One more time...pleaseeeee..." He says while making a puppy face to which she shakes her head smiling.

She comes back closer to him and as he sitting on the bike, she stands slightly between his legs and hugs him on which he closes his eyes.

well this time will come every day between them where both of them will be separated and he knows he will have to get ready for this moment every day where there would be some sadness in being separated from her, but at the moment, he has no other option.

" Today was a beautiful day and so are you." He says over her shoulder to which she smiles and then break the hug and looks into his eyes.

But then she turns back and looks at her house where after not seeing anyone around she turns back towards Reyansh.

" I love you, sunshine." Saying this she directly places her lips on his cheek to which his eyes widen slightly, finally getting a kiss from her. And somewhere, his heart stops for a moment and then starts beating fast again, his face turns red, as his blood rushes through his veins.

And there she places her lips on his cheek, she smiles on his cheek which he feels, she removes her lips from his cheek and brushes her nose against his cheek to which Reyansh closes his eyes feeling a pleasant sensation.

She faces him with a light shy smile to which her face also turns red seeing his red face.

He regains his composure and both share a knowing look with a smile where blush is adorning on their faces.
