Chapter 26 - The Gift

Third Person POV

Astoria caressed Adelaide's cheek with a smile visible on her face. Adelaide was in the middle of getting ready for bathing when Astoria came and asked the servants to leave.

"What are you doing? I am sweaty since I've been walking around, taking of some things before we go back to the capital." Astoria smiled before giving Adelaide a passionate kiss on her lips. When they pulled away, it took Adelaide a second to processing what is happening.

"Are you horny?" Astoria chuckled before leaning in for another kiss but this time Adelaide decided to stop her.

"I thought you wanted me." Adelaide hummed.

"I do but not when I'm all sweaty and disgusting. Let me clean myself then we continue, okay?" Astoria sighed before carrying Adelaide like newlyweds and walked towards the bathroom.

Adelaide was confused to what is happening but nonetheless she is enjoying herself. Adelaide watched as Astoria remove the remaining clothes on her body before guiding her to a bath tub large enough for the two of them.

Adelaide raised her eyebrow as Astoria takes a few step back, diving down into the water before submerged again. Astoria used both of her hands to push her wet hair back, winking at Adelaide who is wondering where this is going before taking her clothes off . Adelaide tilted her head with a smile as Astoria made way towards her.

"What happened to you?" Adelaide asked as Astoria rested her forehead on her shoulder.

"Moloch gave me a strong aphrodisiac. I've been confining myself in your room, trying to calm myself with your scent." Adelaide's eyes widen when she realised she is at fault.

"I was just joking around when I asked Moloch about that. I didn't realised he would administered them directly to you. Why didn't you stop him?" Astoria sighed.

"Because that demon said this is what you want. He even gave me something that could help us be more intimate." Astoria suddenly grabbed one of my hand before guiding them to her crotch.

"What are you—," I stopped midway of my sentences when I felt something that are not supposed to be there.

"Is that what I think it is?!" Astoria nodded before she starts kissing my neck.

"Do something about that nasty thing. I want my vagina back. I can't pee standing up! That thing has a mind of its own! Do something- please!" Adelaide wanted to laughed but she is afarid Astoria would get upset.

"Well- aren't you excited," Adelaide grabbed a hold of Astoria's erected member before pulling her body closer.

"Remind me to thank moloch for his little gift." Adelaide leaned forward and kiss Astoria passionately on the lips as one of her hand guided the knight's erected member to her luscious lower lips.

"Wait—- should we use protection?" Astoria asked.

"What protection? You're a woman with a hard toy attached to your crotch- there's no way you be able to get me pregnant. Shut up and just let me enjoy this." Astoria smirked before she push her hips into the empress without much hesitation. A small moan escaped from Adelaide's lips as the couple finally consummated their relationship.

The next day,

When the empress woke this morning, the bed was empty. She was hoping to see Astoria sleeping next to her but it's a given that the knightress day starts before the sun even rise.

Adelaide sighed as she felt rather tired than usual. Last night event was quite memorable and she wishes that there will be nights like that again in the future.

"Your majesty, will you be spending your day on the bed today?" Sarah made herself known to the empress when she noticed her master had woken up.

"It's for us to go back to the empire. Prepare for the trip back through the portal" Sarah nodded. But before she leave, there is something that she wish to ask.

"Your majesty, my question may sound rude but—- did you had your first night again last night?" Adelaide was confused.

"What do you-" that's when Adelaide realized what Sarah meant.

"Oh my-" the empress chuckled before proudly showing her naked body to her personal maid. Sarah's eyes widen as she saw the marks on her master's body.

"I'm beginning to wonder if Astoria words were true when she said she was a virgin." Sarah chuckled.

"I'll prepare your bath immediately, your majesty." Adelaide hummed before she got up to a sitting position. She vividly remember how gentle she was to her.

"Sarah- where is Moloch?"

"He is having breakfast with queen Serafina. They seems to be enjoying themselves." Adelaide wonder if the demon had fallen for her sister's charm.

"Sarah, do you think the empress dowager will be happy to know that the empire and the demon realm will sign an alliance agreement? Or will she try to stick to the status quo? Does a woman like her understands how dire the situation our empire is in?" Adelaide stood at the door that connected the room to the bathroom while crossing her hands.

"The empress dowager doesn't understand any of that. How many times have you tried to explained to them that the empire will fall- did they listened to your plea?"Adelaide shake her head no.

"Whatever happens after they knew what I did here, probably be my death." Sarah stopped midway of preparing the bath before facing the empress.

"Don't say that your majesty- the people will protect you- I will protect you. And I'm sure countess Astoria will put herself as your shield." Adelaide sighed.

"I'm tired of being protected. There will be time where I have to protect myself. Should I start swordmanship lesson again? I remember the skills and move but I think I need the stamina. I should start exercising again." Sarah sigh heavily.

"Your majesty- just focus on ruling the empire, will you? Let the knights and servants protect you." Adelaide chuckled. Sarah helped her master into the bath before opening the windows that shows the beautiful scenery of the desert.

"What is that sound?" Adelaide asked as she close her eyes.

"It's the servants watching the soldiers in training. After all it's not everyday they get to see the empire's knights around here. They all specially fond of the countess." Adelaide open her eyes immediately.

"Why would the servants be fond of the countess?" Sarah sigh.

"Your majesty, you have no idea how many men and women actually fond of the countess. Sure she look rugged but it doesn't change the fact that she has good looks." Adelaide close her eyes yet again but her mind wander.

"Do you think the countess would notice how everyone is looking at her differently?" Sarah chuckled.

"Your majesty- the countess only has her eyes on you and the North. There were many tried to strike a conversation but she would brush them off with a glare. It's a blessing for the countess to have such looks on her face." Adelaide hummed as she imagine the countess's glare.

"If possible I would like to claim that glare of hers too. But I can't be too greedy." Adelaide felt someone's hand on her shoulder before. The empress sigh in relief but the noises she heard made her annoyed.

"Sarah, can you close the window? The noises annoyed me." Sarah chuckled as she went to close the window.

"Eh- it seems a fight is happening. Who is that bulky man towering the countess?" Adelaide got up from the tub and went to the windows without wearing anything to cover her body.

"Your majesty! At least cover yourself before standing by the window!"

The empress's eyes widen when she saw Astoria smirking at the bulky man.

"I wonder what is that woman thinking challenging a man of that size to a duel." Sarah chuckled.

"Your majesty, your lover is a knight who protects the borders from monsters ten times that size. Did you really think she would waver from such challenge?" The empress hummed.

"I just hope she knows what she's doing."
