Distrust
Unification of the Mind
It is unfair to demand trust. Doubt is simply a caretaker, when it is done protectively. Trauma responses are out of the control of the human body, but with healthy doubt instilled in the mind-body, doubt can allow a sense of protectiveness from the consequences of traumatic events. It depends on how you're doing, if your body can endure the stress of trauma. Traumatic events aren't usually something that only can happen once, trauma responses are acts of protection (based on emotional awareness of negativity through fear), we don't need when we can rely on doubt. Lack of trust is a trauma response that prepares us for the world we've been introduced to, although they misguide us. Trauma responses like distrust should never be blamed on the experiencer, because they would never choose to have such negative experiences.
