Luciel was originally the keeper of light, but he became greedy for the First Light (the fire of the beginning) and made himself the public enemy of the heavenly world. Thus, when he was ultimately defeated, Luciel’s soul shattered into many pieces, leaving behind fourteen fragments. Most of that information was picked up from here and there from other gods and demons.
