9 - how does the window sound

After saying goodbyes to my friends and Luke I stand there and looked at the big mansion making me want to end myself right here right now this is the place where it all started: depression, arguments and crying, but in the end they all act nothing happened.

The moment my hand reach the door knob to twist it that's when hell break out. "WHERE WERE YOU YOUNG MAN" dad shouted.

But i walked past him without saying a word to him "where do you think your going!?" Then the shouting continued while I head upstairs into my room.

My brother gave me a reassuring smile while I walk past him in the hallway. Yes I have a younger brother I didn't mention him because he wasn't that problematic like the rest of them.

I locked the door and threw my bag down on the floor. life was fun at camp with Damien, mike and there's Luke who's been on my mind since we left camp.

And right now he's spam calling me on my phone like:

"i miss you" Luke said on the other side "stop spam calling me" wiping the sweat of my face.

"Fine, I will hang up"

"No.. I didn't mean it like that!" I said

"Anyways...You should come over my house tomorrow"

"Don't we have school?" Am sure we had homework's to bring in too.

"So?.."

I let out a defeated sign "Fine but you're helping me sneak out."

"Bye lover" he hang up before I could say anything

Seriously lover? But somehow it got me blushing and smirking, it instantly went away when someone came into room.

"What got you smiling like that?" She said with a smirk then after that she embraced me with a hug.

"It's just some gif... and why are you here early" she finally let me go and sit down on my bed "your father pressure me to come here precisely" she said along with a sign.

"Is brother coming today?" Wondering cause I Haven't seen him since last year Christmas.

"No he's coming tomorrow and I think am gonna head to bed" she patted my shoulders and walked out.

Something came across mind and I realized it had to something to do with Luke but dismissed it real quick and headed to the showers.

I don't know if saying lover was taking it too far but he didn't respond after that so it started worrying me.

My little sister who I haven't seen for a week run up to me and gave me a hug before mom told her to go to bed.

"Go to sleep you have school in the morning" she told me and left "sure.."I mumbled under my breath.

My socks fell off then my clothes, anyone who's put theres shower on cold is crazy but anyways I took a shower so I don't have to shower in the morning don't we all?.

I put on my pjs and fell face down on the bed "goodnight miles" I whispered before my eyes close shut.

'brr,brr,brr' my timer repeatedly making those noise until I had to turn it off. I always out my timer on 7:30 for school, but since we're skipping I can just pretend am heading to school.

I put on a black hoodie with some shorts, Luke was supposed to be here 5mins ago but he's not here.

A knock on my window snapped me out of my thoughts, a head pop outside the window revealing Luke "Hurry up before I fall down" hurrying towards him and grabbed his hand before he starts slipping.

I grabbed him so hard that he land on top of me there was silence at first then realization second. "Aren't you gonna get up" I turned my head sideways so I don't have to stare at him.

Luke got up and held out a hand, I greatly took it "let's go" he grabbed my wrist walking towards the window "Nope not going through the window"

"Then where else we're gonna sneak out from" he turned and started coming closer to me "Front door duh, but we have to be careful" I grabbed his hands without even knowing and headed into the hallways.

"We're definitely gonna get caught" he mumbled behind me.

"Am sure no one's up yet" I heard a sure from his mouth and I rolled my eyes in response. I walked past my sister room then my brothers room and finally we were at the stairs.

A door was opening behind us and we looked to my surprise it was my sister "shit" we ran down the stairs just see my family down there especially my older brother Elijah. SHIT.

"How does the window sound now" he whispered in my ears.

Everyone looked at us with a questioning look, my hands were still holding his and I quickly let it go but Elijah already saw it and raise an eyebrow.

"Miles who's this?" Mom said while putting a plate of bacon on the counter "Uh.. homework buddy"  she gave me a smile seeing that she believes my lie.

"Why don't you come join us" she said to Luke who's trying to look anywhere else but here "Sure.." he looked at me not knowing where to sit.

He followed behind me like a lost puppy and took a sit beside me "this was supposed to be a family breakfast" my younger brother Noah said.

"If miles brought him here am sure he's very close to him like Damien" my sister Ria said.

She sat in front me while Elijah sat in front Luke giving him looks "am sure no one's up yet" he mocked my word.

"Sorry" I gave a guilty look and his face softened up "no no it's ok" his jaw clenched and then moved uncomfortably in his seat.

Mom set an extra plate in front of Luke who eyeing it weirdly, Dad was the last one to come at the table and he looked at Luke weirdly "who's this?"

"Just miles friend honey" mom said.

"Hmm alright let's dig in" my hands touched the bagels and the stuff am gonna make into a sandwich.

Luke on the other hand grabbed a bacon and started chewing tiny bites of it in his hand, he looked at dad who was sipping his coffee loudly and then at my sister who was giving him a weird smile.

"Yep, I think am gonna wait upstairs in miles room" quickly heading up the stairs but almost tripping, continuing up the stairs giving me a small smile before disappearing out of my sight.

"Great you guys scared him off" rolling my eyes. "What we were just being nice" Ria smiled.

"I don't remember you inviting someone yesterday to sleep over here" Dad glared at me "I don't remember it being your business?" I quickly got up and took Luke plate with me.

"Ok boys calm down remember we have a big dinner soon, miles so you have to stay home" I was supposed to be sneaking out with Luke but then I got an idea.

"Can Luke help me prepare desserts or drinks?" Hoping that she would agree. "Of course I need extra hands today." She rubbed my shoulders before heading off into the kitchen.

I went up the stairs and towards my room where Luke was in doing gods knows what, my hand twisted the door knob and opened it to a shirtless Luke.

"Why do you always do this" I covered my eyes and my stomach started to flush"I wanna wear a matching shirt with you" my hands was not covering my eyes anymore so I simply just acted he had on a shirt.

He grab two shirts out of his bag and flash it in front of me saying:

Basically that what's on the shirts and surprising I agreed to wear it without thinking about it first.

"And we're gonna have to stay and bake desserts or do some drinks" he gave me a questioning look "that's better than wondering off outside" Luke shrugged to my answer and waited outside for me to change.

"Let's hope we don't burn anything" I sign as the t shirt covers my body.

Had to replace them messages with calling each other instead it was giving me problems 💀 Fr
