22- The talk

Right now I was half asleep on the couch trying to play the game, but I tapped out when I had enough.

"Omg stop cheating Toby!" Charlotte protest against him for not picking up 8 cards.

"As you can see it's exactly 8" he showed his card thinking we're dumb to see he pulled a card from his original pack.

"Whatever" she rolled her eyes before placing another plus 4.

They all groaned.

Liam dropped a plus 2 which caused disagreements.

"You can't put a +2 on a +4 what type of game you're playing" Henry took off the plus 2 and shoved it in-front of him.

"It's a plus doesn't matter"

"Only matter if the number is small stupid" Mike rolled his eyes.

"That's not how it works" Damien disagreed with Mike respond.

"Omg it's simple 4 is a bigger number 2 is a little number, problem solved" Miles jumps in.

"Well it's a plus and am sure 4 is gonna add 2" Liam brush a hand in his hair trying to make sense.

"Just put it in" Henry stated.

The game continued with laughing and shouting it made me happy but not with Henry here. I wondered to myself who else here is closeted.

Theo added a shuffling card causing a lot of loud groans.

Damien nearly handed Theo his cards "count your cards idiot" he rolled his eyes then took it back.

After everyone handed him his Theo shuffle it 4 mins straight. The card he was holding was packed like packed.

Liam had 18 cards in total which was shocking.

"Bro someone took my wild card" Toby tried to look into Liam hands but he pushes him away.

"Well you can't say when someone took my +4 and my +2s" Damien grumble.

"Stop saying out the cards before they reads us" Mike elbow Damien on the arm.

It was now 10 pm and yes I was ready to head out with or without miles.

"Adios" I waved to all of them before getitng off the couch. I Already had on my white beautiful crocs on, reading to leave this alcohol smelling place.

"Wait you're leaving?" Miles had a sad expression.

"Yes, am gonna fall asleep if I stay here any more seconds" I responded. I was already heading towards the door before opening and closing back.

The moment I opened the front door cold breeze hit me in seconds. They were barely any cards on the street just only forest ahead.

"Jeez why didn't you wait for me"

"Huh?"

"We drove in my car coming up here" he rolled his eyes for my stupidity.

"Let's just hurry before my curfew reaches" I said.

We were finally in his car ready to head to my house and hopefully am not there 15 minutes late

"So what are you gonna do for thanks giving break" he brought out trying to spike out a conversation.

"Sleep, eat and watch movies"

"W-well you see me and friends are planning on going t-"

"No" I cut him off before he actually makes me fly out of the state.

"Bu-"

"Nope"

"Fine" he spoke with a furious tone. The car started and right away it was heading into the streets.

"Seriously you're just gonna stay home all thanksgiving" Miles shook his head repeatedly trying to get my attention.

"Well my family won't be here so it's a win win situation" I said smirking at him right in the face.

"Making it hard for me to like you" he whispered under his breath.

Miles stopped at the red light bitting his lower lip.

"Spit it out before we reach home"

"I mean we been doing stuff for almost a month or 2" he continued "We're not even an label" I could hear his huffing.

"Well then what do you want us to be" I wanted to hear him say it.

"I mean it's obvious what am implying"

"I really don't have clue what your implying"

"Fine, what if we become something more"

"Omg is miles Dawson trying to be my boyfriend!" I said with a shock expression.

"You know what be that way" I could tell he didn't like how I was acting in this situation. The light turned green then started driving again.

"You know I was only joking?" I was trying to lighten up the mood.

"Sure"

"I will only say yes if I you do something for me" his attention turned towards me when he spotted in front of my house.

"And what would that be"

"Kiss me"

The lights in my house were still on, hoping that everyone was asleep when I came back.

I opened the door to see my siblings watching Netflix on the screen. The door slammed loudly which meant I got their attention.

"Your late again" Eli stated.

"Sorry, dad" I smirked and headed into the kitchen to look for something to eat.

"Why are you glowing too?" I quickly hid face so she doesn't read it. For some reason she always guess if it's a girl or I did something bad.

"Probably because I drank a lot of water lately" my mouth spoke with the fake lie. I grabbed a snack along with a soda.

"So are you to go that hotel place" Ria squeaked her voice from remembering that it will be a fun day when we reach there.

"Yeah.. can Damien and Luke come?" Ria made the "of course" face as-well as Eli and Noah.

I will probably have to convince my boyfriend some more.
