23 - Thanksgiving

The moment my dad closed the door I hurried into the kitchen, grabbing juice and snacks for the movie am watching.

I headed into my room locking door behind me, my hand clicked on the movie 'flash'. I was already sitting on the bed making myself comfortable.

The moment I relaxed the door bell rang which gave me an annoyed reaction all the way downstairs.

I opened it just to see miles with a bag on his shoulders, I gave him an questioning look to why wasn't he on his trip.

"What are you doing here" I made way for him to come and he did.

"Am staying here" he walked past me then into the kitchen. "you have any snacks here"

"Yea... it's in the pantry" I closed the door behind me then started asking more questioning "shouldn't you be on a vacation with your siblings".

"I decided to not go" he opened the fridge trying to ignored anymore questions but I asked more.

"If this is about me not going, you still should have went" miles turned his attention to me looking upset.

"Well am stuck here because of someone not wanting to come"

Ah blaming me.

"I told you, spamming me with text messages wasn't gonna change my mind" I tried getting closer to him but he gave me the glare I shouldn't.

I signed before continuing "did you came here just to argue with me"

He bit his bottom lip trying to say something but it finally came out "yes." After that he walk past me heading towards the door.

I leaned on the counter watching him slammed the door shut but this time I didn't come after him.

Going back upstairs and acting like nothing happened would actually make me the bad guy and knowing it would ruin my mood for the whole day.

I heard his car starting after 5 mins then speeding off  till I couldn't hear its roar anymore.

Right now I just needed a shower and a snack please.

"Alright is that everybody" Eli looked around the back seeing Damien and Henry.

"Just drive" I rolled my eyes at him which he frowned back at me.

My hands were reaching in my hoodie pockets taking out my earbuds.  I shuffling in my seat as I turned picked out my music then turned the volume up in the middle so I could still hear them.

"I think my friends will meet us in the parking lot" Ria said.

"Great.." her friends are the most annoying people ever but we never had the gut to tell her that.

Suddenly my leg was leaning against something and I immediately knew it was Henry's. I quickly lift it off and turned to him who was already looking at me.

"Wanna play something" his smile turned into the frown but quickly into an innocent smile to which I noticed.

"Sure.."

When Henry did that thing it reminded me of that time in the bus with Luke.

Luke?

He didn't even text me or ran after me and I wonder I still miss him. It was probably my clinginess which I need to work on.

He invited me into a multiplayer game which we argue a lot about.

I saw a candy store which was not that far away from me. I bit my bottom lip knowing what's gonna happen next.

"Stop here"

After I cleaned the dishes and swipe the whole house this was the time to order some take out. I really need some burger in my system right now.

And definitely fries.

The curtains were closed and the ac was on. And of course I had this big knife beside me in case someone tries to break in.

I turned on the movie leaving it to play while waiting for my order to come in.

My phone made a ding sound knowing it was probably my mom checking if I was ok.

I gave her a thumbs up before turning it off then charging it.

The door bell rang knowing it was definitely the food i order.

My foot was immediately on floor walking a fast pace towards the room. Outside was pitch black, couldn't see the trees or anything.

I opened the door expecting to see the delivery dude but here I am seeing miles Dawson at my door step along with a black plastic bag wrap around his hand.

"Oh!"

"I-I got some snickers, KitKat and a lot of more sweets" he was speaking fast almost sounding like he was feeling guilty.

I cupped both of his cheeks "calm down" he took in deeps breath before speaking again "Am sorry"

I step forward closing the gap before giving him a slight kiss on his jaw without a thought I pulled him inside locking the door behind him.

"Why would you walk all the way in pitch black" I grabbed the bag of sweets before grabbing his arm leading him into my room.

"Wow. You have everything set up for a movie night" miles sat on the edge of the bed grabbing my laptop.

The door bell rang again which cause me to roll my eyes "gimme a sec"

"Seriously you ordered food?" Miles smiled while grabbing my fries.

"Yet you're eating it" my hand clicked on the unpaused button towards the screen.

"So.. when are your parents coming home"

"In about 3 days and remember we have school tomorrow" I threw the bag in the trash then handed him some of my nuggets.

"But it's only 9" miles blinked his eyes trying to hide what he's really thinking.

"Exactly" I flopped beside him before paying attention to the screen.

"Fine but am taking shower real quick" he then took some of my clothes before heading into the bathroom.

I took out my phone going onto Twitter thinking if I should exposed him or not.

My fingers slipped just after my phone died. thinking It was nothing I left it on the nightstand before paying my attention back on the movie.

Let's hope everything goes right tomorrow.
