4- Roomates

Finally after an hour of yelling, sleeping and stopping every single time. we're here.. we were told to sit on the grass or stand while we wait for our names to be called.

Sarah and Avery was bunk together obviously, i glance at miles just see Ava squeezing his arm, she's like a leech.

"Damien and...

"Mike!" The lady said.

Damien frown when he heard the name Mike, i wonder what's there situation, names and names been called and all I been doing is just sitting on the grass, sweating.

"Miles and..."

I see girls perk up when they heard his name I don't think they understand it's obviously we're going for same gender, I rolled my eyes, "Luke!"

Yikes..

I hit my back on the grass and groan, no way am spending a week in a cabin with him, it's like universe won't leave us alone first encounter was in the forest, then seat partners and now this what else science partners? Ok let's not jinx it.

I went back into the bus for some shade and sat at my window seat and took a sip of my water, I look out outside just see Ava glaring at me, I showed her the middle finger and saw miles turning around and I turned quickly.

I was pulling my suitcase to make my way towards my destination, when I see girls having more than one bags seriously, I past cabins and almost every one of them was quiet, most likely everyone was surrounding the fire pit, telling spooky stories i guessed.

I open the door to my cabin and it wasn't that bad, it had a small living room and a small kitchen with a backyard porch, I turned to the corner to see if there's more than one room but it was one singular door. Please...

It was a bedroom with two beds.

Fuck.

At least there's a bathroom, Right.

I unpacked my stuff, and head towards my bed to draw something, that's when the door open revealing miles I quickly put my attention towards the blank sheet of paper.

We stared at each other for a second then turning back to what we're doing.

Every time he puts something on the shelf I could see his biceps showing. Fuck.. i quickly put my hand on my head groaning. What is wrong with me.

"Hey" miles interrupted my thoughts.

"Hmm" as I put my pencil down to look at his face. "We need to set some rules" is he for real.

"First no bringing girls over."

Done.

"Or people.. but anyways and second no smoking or drinking" he said with a serious face, omg idk why I keep squeezing my legs every time he speaks, "no loud noise, please.."

I snap out my daze "Sure, no problem"

He went over his bed and under the covers and grabbed his headphones along with his laptop, I continued to stare at the blank sheet of paper.

Were gonna be here for a week, I wonder what's gonna happen when everything comes falling down.

Luke is weird, but not weird right? I keep and overthinking and then I take couple of glances but all those time he's draws.

My phone gave me an notification, I looked over to see Ava texted me and I rolled my eyes, she says we're going to a party. We're? When will she give me a break. I texted her No.

Without waiting for a response, i power off my phone and resume my music, I haven't even eaten yet and am sure there's barely any food in the fridge great day to not bring any snacks, great.

20 mins I could hear a bag ruffling, I snap my attention to Luke to see him with a big bag of ruffles, especially the cheese kind.

He saw me eye fucking the bag, I clear my throat and went back to typing.

"Want some?" He held his hand out for my reach.

I hesitated for a sec and took a bit out of the bag, at the corner of my eyes I could see him smiling, making me want to laugh as his reaction.

It was now midnight and I could people doors opening doors but not loud and some saying shhh, guessed the party was happening, I would go but I was drain out, all I wanted to do was get cozy and watch movies all night.

There was a knock on the door not the front door the room door. Luke looked at me with a expression, before he got up to open it I yank his hand making him fall back onto the bed. I turned my attention to the door before opening to see Damien.

"HEY DUDE" just hearing his voice making me groan, "how did you get in" Luke ask.

"Hm, the front was open" Luke glared at me and i shrugged my shoulder in response.

Damien didn't waste a second to climb in my bed and open my laptop "what the fuck are doing" I pulled the laptop from his lap.

"Party is boring without you, plus Mike it annoying the hell out me" I didn't question that because he seems piss off. "What do you expect me to do about it" i cross my arms.

"Movie?" He held his hand out to plead.

"Fine" he made space for me since were setting side ways at the bed "Luke your joining too" he signaled him to come and looked at me for a approval and I nod in response.

Damien was now between us, watching the maze runner, the movie was great definitely gonna rewatch this. I looked over to see him sleeping and Luke staring at the black screen.

"Hey, you should get some sleep" he snapped his head to me "yea, lemme just go" just before he got of my bed he stumbled but he didn't because I grabbed his wrist without even thinking, I could feel a shock feeling the moment I touch him.

I look up at him to see him already staring at me, "be careful next time" rubbing the back of my neck wanting to leave this awkward air "yea.. thanks by the way" then he made his way onto his bed before shutting his eye.

I signed and push Damien to the floor and made my way into my bed, here I was staring at the ceiling, I could hear my heart beating fast I hate this so much I shouldn't be feeling like this and the craziest thing I have no clue why am I feeling like this.

I clench my jaw.

Fuck.. I rolled over my side and forcefully shut my eyes hoping the darkness took over me.

Luke🍛

The sun was shining in my face making it hard for me to sleep, I groan and got up so my feet could touch the floor, I stretch for bit before looking at miles that is still sleeping and Damien who's on the floor?!.

I will probably wake them up, when am done bathing and brushing my teeth. The water was cold as expected I hate cold showers, I turn of the water pressure and got up to wear my black shorts with a simple black shirt.

After brushing my teeth, I opened the bathroom door and a sign of relief seeing there awake fighting over the bed, their eyes fixated on me especially his lovely green eyes he cleared his throat and walk past me towards the bathroom while Damien looked at me strangely.

I rolled my eyes, and went to the kitchen to eat something hopefully. Last night we were good, today he's not even willing to spark up a conversation with me.

This is going to be the end of me.
