Chapter 402 - 395 Where in Life Do We Not Meet?

Wei Jiani took a piece of chocolate and tossed it straight into the trash, “You guys dare to eat this? What if it’s expired and you get food poisoning?”

Her words choked everyone else up a bit, making their mood turn sour. When people are eating, could you not mention crap and farts? It really makes people feel nauseated.

Wei Jiani’s action of tossing the carefully shared chocolates seemed to slap Tang Yuxin’s face and made their dorm leader Li Jia, who had distributed the chocolates, uncomfortable too.

“Don’t take it to heart. She’s just like that, a pampered only child. She’s choked up on us many times before,” said the others while continuing to eat their chocolates and laugh. Apparently, Li Jia’s words were true that Wei Jiani did not have a good reputation within the dormitory.

Her words instantly threw everyone into fits of laughter. Li Jia even lunged at Tang Yuxin, clutching her face, laughing until her stomach hurt.

When they left, Li Jia specifically called Wei Jiani. Naturally, Wei Jiani refused to go and sarcastically jabbed, “What good food can she possibly afford? Probably just tofu and vegetable soup.” She preferred not to go.

Tang Yuxin took them to a decent restaurant and let everyone order a dish. Li Jia and the others were sensible and therefore went for the cheaper options like stir-fry potato shreds and scrambled eggs with tomatoes. As three dishes were already ordered, it didn’t take much money.

Tang Yuxin added up seven to eight dishes straight away and ordered the signature dishes of the restaurant. A plate of agnolotti cost several tens of dollars and she didn’t even blink. When the dishes were served one by one, the students were flabbergasted.

“So much?”

“Yes,” Tang Yuxin snatched a chunk of fish into her bowl without a care, “Look, if I had eaten so much alone, would they think I’m a pig?

Li Jia who was sipping her beverage nearly spat out what she had just drunk.

A table full of dishes and no one held back for the fear of not being able to finish. Even though they were eating without reservation, they still couldn’t finish because Tang Yuxin had ordered too much. Tang Yuxin went ahead to pay. The meal cost nearly three hundred yuan which was almost a month’s meal cost for them. Yet, Tang Yuxin didn’t seem bothered
