Chapter 25

The Moore-Perez Family

The Rich And Not Spoiled: A Christmas Special

🎄Stella's POV 🎄

I'm ashamed to say I lied to my wife.

Coming to Paris for Christmas wasn't a spur-of-the-moment idea, it was actually quite the opposite. I had to perfectly curate the time we got her and all the things we'd do here.

Tonight, I'm going to re-propose to my wife at the same spot I proposed nine years ago.

After I'd proposed the idea of a night out with her, we went shopping for an outfit for tonight.

It told her it was somewhere fancy and a little chilly out so she went with a long-sleeved dress in a lovely cherry red color while I got a black pants suit for the night.

After that, we'd gone back to the hotel to get some sleep and start getting ready later. Keeping the night a secret from her was hard because all I wanted to do was share it with her.

Tell her about all the things I'd say to her and run every inch of the night by her to make sure it's up to her standard but I had to hold back.

I'm just hoping tonight will go as planned.

Lottie and I were getting ready together in the bathroom but like always keeping our hands to ourselves was an issue.

The entire time I had my free hand looped around her waist, scratching lightly at her waist in the at she liked. And at every free moment, she had, her fingers intertwined with mine.

I'm not sure how we did it but somehow we got ready with only ten minutes to spare.

"We need to say goodbye to the kids," Lottie said.

"Mhmm," I hummed and pressed a soft kiss to her lips, leaving a small amount of red lipstick on her lips.

She blushed slightly when she noticed and I couldn't help but smile at her flushed cheeks.

I held her hands as we went into the twin's room to say goodnight to them. "You look very pretty mamá," Emilia said with a bright smile.

"Thank you cariño," I said as I sat on her bed and Lottie copied my actions in Natalia's side.

"Should we have a minute discussion time?" Lottie asked them and Emilia nodded her head with a smile.

"When are you coming back?" She asked.

"When you wake up in the morning, we'll be right here in our bed," I said.

"Do you think Santa will get us another puppy?" Natalia asked. "Aunty Val has two."

"We'll see when we get home," I said and she smiled.

The girls talked for a little longer about their day in Kids Club, describing the Christmas-themed things they did and telling us about how it was the rhetorical best thing about Paris.

After our five-minute time, they decided they'd talked enough and put themselves to bed. My wife and I kissed them both goodnight and tucked them in before we left not forgetting to leave the night light on.

We checked on Noah and he was fast asleep in his cot. I made sure he was asleep and kissed him goodbye before we went in and talked to the babysitter who was in the living room of the hotel room.

"Call us if anything," I said sternly. "It's a few hours and you should be capable of looking after them while they sleep,"

My wife nudged my shoulder and gave me a look that said you're intimidating the poor woman. To be honest, I didn't care who I was scared or intimidated when it came to my kids and my wife.

"I will," she said softly. "They're in good hands." She added. "Merry Christmas, Mrs, and Mrs Perez." She spoke softly as we left the hotel room.
