The siblings chatted about something else before Su Yuxuan reluctantly confirmed Su Yayan’s return several times before hanging up.

Before Su Yayan could heave a sigh of relief, she heard Huo Chenhuan ask, “Divorce?”

“It’s just a hypothesis. I know you won’t do that.”

“What if I do that?”

Su Yayan was slightly taken aback. She stared straight into Huo Chenhuan’s eyes and said without hesitation, “Then we’ll get a divorce.”

“Why?”

“Because if you really did that, you wouldn’t be the person that I thought you were. For those few idiots, you turned against me and my family. If I don’t divorce a husband like that, should I keep him for the New Year?”

Huo Chenhuan stared at Su Yayan for a long time before he smiled. “You’re right.”

“That day will never come.”

Su Yayan understood what he meant and smiled. “I’ll wait and see then.”

“What is it?”

“I plan to agree to Ye Qiliang’s suggestion and teach some of the things I have.”

Huo Chenhuan did not ask her who Ye Qiliang was, nor did he ask her what Ye Qiliang’s proposal was. He only asked in a low voice, “Was this what you were troubled about previously?”

“I told you before that as long as you want to do something, I will support you unconditionally. Don’t worry about the consequences, I’m here for you.”
