Chapter Four

TAINTED by TWINS (bxbxb)

It was lunch time, and Johan didn't go to his table immediately. Instead, he went and followed Lian when he ran away from the teacher's lunch table. He seemed upset, so Dr. Wayne followed him, and so did Jonah.

"Lian, I'm so sorry about them. I don't agree with everything they said!"

"But you still let them talk bad about your pregnant co worker?! Dr. Wayne, you're not supposed to just stand there and let them slander her. You tolerate that kind of behavior?!"

Jonah stayed by the wall as he heard them, "Of course I don't."

"What if that was me?" Lian says as he holds his own arms, "What if they talk bad about me because I'm gay, are you just gonna laugh along?"

"Of course not, Lian. I will shut them up!"

"Then do the same for Mrs. Ritchie!" Lian says, putting his foot down.

Dr. Wayne was silent for a moment, before he softly reaches out to Lian, "I'm sorry. Please don't let this affect our friendship. You'll still go out with me, right?"

Lian was silent for longer, until he sighed in surrender. "I... will. Thanks, Chris..."

Jonah's eyes were seeing red. So he won't go out with me, but he will the old teacher...

The next thing Jade knew, Jonah was marching towards him with his eyes covered by his bangs because of a bent head. "Jonah, I really enjoyed my peace eating mashed potatoes without you-"

"Do what you will!" Jonah exclaims as he sat down. He leans towards his brother with a deathly serious expression, "Please. Lian Miller. I want him to be mine. Do whatever it takes, just don't kill him or beat him up."

"I see, no breaking the legs. Anything else?" Jade nonchalantly says, eating his potatoes.

"Do everything else."

Unfortunately, Dr. Wayne was unable to make it to the restaurant, not even a text message or so. Lian got worried, but mostly hurt because he got caught in the rain while waiting for him. "Chris, where are you?"

It's been 15 minutes and Lian got tired of standing. He can't go inside the restaurant without the name of the reservation, but someone did call his name from the inside.

"Lian Miller," called out a familiar and unwelcomed David's friends, without David himself, all three boys exiting the restaurant. The blonde green-eyed soccer player, Ethan Ramsey asks him, "What are you doing out here in a place you clearly can't afford?"

"Meeting with a sugar daddy, maybe..." one of them pushed Lian out to the rain, and he doesn't feel like fighting against them.

"Don't worry, I'm leaving..." he replied, dishearted.

But Ethan grabbed him by the arm. "No, don't leave! We can treat you to food, right boys? David would want us to get you some drinks, too. As an apology."

Another guy swung his arm around Lian who looks clearly uncomfortable, but didn't want to make a scene in front of a fancy restaurant.

"Yeah, we can treat you to food inside..." Ethan says, leaning against Lian while running a finger down his lips. There's a clear smell of too much champagne from his breath. "... but you have to give us dessert after..."

"Ethan, let go of me..."

"Isn't that why you're here? To meet a man that will get his d*ck sucked by you? Come on, Lian. Why don't you do it for us?"

Lian yells out, "Ethan, let go of me!"

His struggle caused them to throw him directly onto the road, in the pouring rain, where a blind light hit him in the face. He thought he had been run over and hopefully died, but it was the wheel of a black Kawasaki Ninja that halted right into Lian's face.

The boys immediately stepped back at the sight of Jade Deveroux removing his helmet and taking a random customer's umbrella from the restaurant's stand.

"Jade?!" Before Ethan could react, the helmet in his right hand was bashed into his head as Jade's left hand hit a second's boy's neck with the umbrella, before using the tip to stab the third boy's foot and hit him with the helmet.

"Jade you f*cker-!" Ethan recovered and charged at him, only for Jade to open the umbrella right into his face, threatening to poke him with the blunt yet pointed tip if he dare comes near.

"Did David not tell you guys what I did to him? Or could he not speak because his tongue was still swollen? Maybe he struggled to say his T-Hs  because of his missing teeth? I heard he's in Thailand trying to fix them. Maybe you could donate yours, Ethan..." Jade smiles at them.

The second boy recovered from the throat hit, so Jade knocks him back down with a swing from his helmet.

"Ethan, let's go!" The second boy cried out as he dragged his friend away. Jade rolled his eyes before handing Lian the umbrella. Not that it makes a difference, he's still soaking wet from the rain.

"Uhh... th-thanks, Jade..." Lian was struggling to look up at him because of the shame and disappointment in his heart. "But this isn't my umbrella."

"You're right, it'll just blow away." Jade rudely took back the umbrella and shoved it back into the stand, before shoving his helmet onto Lian's head. "Come on."

"Ehh? What? For what?"

"I'm on my way to the apartment, you can dry up there. Do you want to get sick?"

"Uhh..." Jade had already mounted up his bike, his hair gel already getting washed out because of the rain, making them fall to his forehead and black stained eyes.

"Do you want me to get sick?"

With a pounding chest and a reluctant run, Lian mounted up the tall bike and screamed when Jade revved up and took off at a flashing speed. He had to unexpectedly hug him out of fear of falling behind. Jade was enjoying every minute; both of them wet, Lian crying on his back, and his arms tight around his waist.

Jade arrived at their condominium building with Lian feeling very sick from whiplash, but the Deveroux twin just dragged him through the lobby with the helmet on his head. "Don't act so limp, they'll think I drugged you. Actually, that should be normal to them at this point."

Everyone in formal and luxury wear was staring at the two wet young men striding through the lobby of a high-end condominium. Jonah Deveroux is known to be a high-paying editorial and runway model, but the twins are born from old money with parents in the higher 1%. Lian looks out of place in this golden palace.

They were at the elevator when Lian finally took off the helmet and looked at the equally wet Jade Deveroux, eyeliner running down the wrinkles of his eyes and making him look more like a rockstar every second. Lian finds himself ogling, but he forces himself to look away.

"Why did you bring me here? You could've just left me alone!" Lian presses the ground floor button. "I'm leaving... I'm going home, I need to-!"

The elevator opened to the exact condominium owned by the Deveroux twins. There was no corridor for Lian to escape to; they own an entire floor, with the elevator opening to a grand living room. Jade casually pulled Lian inside before the elevator doors could close and take him tot he ground floor.

"Hey... J-Jade... I'm all wet..."

"Not the first time I heard that," he says, smirking before going upstairs. "I'm getting you clothes. Go... touch stuff or whatever. If you break something, you'll owe us something. Gives me a reason to keep you trapped here."

Lian widens his eyes. Jade is so scary. He was looking uncomfortable and insecure as he keeps his hands and feet all to himself, looking around to see a very neat penthouse with books on the kitchen counter and a whole water dispenser for... vodka? Lian found out when he took a drink for water and immediately spat it out.

"BLEH!" He choked, stepping away from the weird water dispenser. "Oh no..."

Taking his shirt off, he kneels on the floor to clean up after his little barf and wasted Vodka. He doesn't want Jade to know-

"Why are you scrubbing the floors?" He asked, coming down with a fresh pair of black pants, a belt, and... nothing else. The man has a spider tattoo on his entire left waist, hugging his ribs. Lian can't quite take his eyes off him. His body is muscular, shoulders broad and his pecs look soft and deep when pressed-Lian, stop.

In his hands he carries fresh clothes for Lian. "Vodka evaporates, you know? You can just leave it."

"Uhm... you really don't need to do this," Lian stood up and smiled awkwardly.

"Jonah would kill me if I left you in the rain. I figured you haven't gotten any dinner, so I ordered delivery. I hope you don't mind pizza because I wouldn't have anything else."

"That's... fine..."

Jade handing Lian the clothes. "The two bedrooms upstairs each have a bathroom, just pick one. The third one is locked, we keep the bodies there."

"Excuse me?" Lian widens his eyes at the deadpan Jade, who then leans in to flick his nose.

"It's a joke, Miller. Laugh a little, give yourself wrinkles..." he chuckled, before going over to the fridge and take out a cold bottle of vodka. Lian was still standing there, so Jade stared him down. "I wouldn't mind you wiping our floors which you're wet with those clothes."

"I-I'm going!" A flustered Lian rushed upstairs with the clothes and came across two doors.

One was neat and stylish with neutral walls and framed awards. A tidy bed, a sleek desk with a laptop and books, and a well-organized closet of suits and shoes. A mirror, a camera, and colognes add a polished touch. The room feels calm and refined.

One had walls with band posters and graffiti. A messy bed, motorcycle helmet on the floor, and a leather jacket on a chair. Skateboards, boots, and a guitar lean against the wall. A workbench with tools and bike parts sits in the corner. The room smells like leather and gasoline.

Naturally, he chose to change inside the neutral room with the towel and clothes provided. He closed the door behind him and started to strip, but maybe he wasn't alone after all.

"... now that you're here, can you please return my f*cking underwear, Jade-" A man came out of the bathroom just as Lian was putting on shorts.

Jonah Deveroux came out naked while holding a towel to his hair, his tightly toned abs and rigid pecs no longer covered by cashmere sweaters. Lian froze upon seeing him and his entire package, soft but intimidatingly big-

"AHHHHH!" Lian screamed for the heavens.

Jonah covered up and Lian turned around with a red face. "I-I'M SORRY! J-Jade said to change i-in either rooms!"

"Uhm, it's fine! Uhh... we're both men, right?" Jonah awkwardly says. "And uhh... those are my clothes..."

"I'M SORRY!"

"No, please use it. You got caught in the rain too, huh?" Jonah lightheartedly chuckles at him. "I'll just get some clothes and change in Jade's room."

Lian still refused to look at him. The way his hair was dripping wet and making droplets shine on his smooth skin and contoured muscles was something a god-fearing man shouldn't be tempted to touch. "Th-thanks, Jonah..."

The man left after grabbing some clothes, and after closing the door to give him privacy, Jonah glared at a smug looking Jade waiting by the hallways.

"Scaring him to death, really Jade? That's your plan to make him like me?"

"It's not part of any plan, I just think it's really funny..." Jade pats his twin's shoulders before going downstairs.
