Chapter 413: Husband Hoyle's Preach

Between her scream, Olive giggled and ended the call. Good thing that Chloe wasn't by her side, or

she would be strangled to death.

She walked into the kitchen humming and put on her apron, looking like a housewife.

Alan, who was at the office at the moment, stared at the unexpected guest who suddenly appeared

in front of him. The corners of his lips were slightly raised, “You finally show your face after arriving

at Luo City for a long time? Are you done with hide and seek? Has your curiosity satisfied?”

“Brother, you're such a two-faced. You clearly knew I've been following you guys for days, but you're

not batting an eyelid. What are you up to?” Ada muttered, making her happy, but it turned out that

everything was under his cold eyes. Boring.

Alan shrugged, “Since you like to follow, I let you follow until you have enough. It's not affecting my

life with your sister-in-law.”

"Emperor Calm,” Ada threw him two words, then finally asked, “By the way, did you tell sister-in-law

that I was following you guys?”

Otherwise, how could she be caught so easily?

“She already knew that someone was following her without the need for me to tell her. Her

you with her cleverness.” Alan raised an eyebrow at her with an expression that read “if-you-don“t-

Ada sighed inwardly. There was no need for her to try anymore. She had already been caught.

Alan looked at her disheartened expression. Suspiciously, he said, “Don't tell me the reason you're

standing in front of me now is because you've been caught by her.”

“No way. You're too underestimating me.” Ada bulged her eyes. Her eyes maybe could show off her

lies. It would be embarrassing for her if the scene in the parking lot was seriously exposed.

Besides, she couldn't let him know what happened today. Otherwise, when he heard that his woman

was almost staged into another panic because of a car, he would directly throw her out of the

window of his office.

Before she had ever met with her sister-in-law, she had heard Aoba mentioning on the phone many

times that their eldest brother cherished his wife very much, making her current standard for

choosing a spouse was almost based on her eldest brother.

However, her sister-in-law, who she had quietly observed for a few days, didn't disappoint her. Ada

had initially thought that Olive was a delicate woman who needed to live under the protective wings

of a man, but now it looked like when she was being fierce, Ada couldn't tease her too.

This kind of soft woman with hardness was the type she liked.

“I missed you. Can't I come to see you?” As if to dispel his doubts, Ada added another sentence.

do you still care about my existence?”

Ada asked back, “Must I look for you because I need something?”

Alan glanced, “Just two tickets?”

“How many more tickets do you want?” Of course he only needed two tickets for two people. If

more, it would be a waste.

“It won't hurt you to give me three or four more tickets.”

Ada waved her hand, “No problem. I'll send the other two tickets myself.”

“You want to play tricks again, right?” Alan guessed right with a sentence.

"Alan, don't tell them if you already know. I want to worship exactly what kind of woman has

subdued our family’s acclaimed playboy, okay?” Ada thought that she had to be not a simple

woman. She was really looking forward the way they would meet.

“Okay. You can do whatever you want. Just don't bother my wife anymore,” Alan said half-warningly.

"Why? Does she hold grudges?” Ada whispered. She didn't look like it. She was quite easy going.

“Olive isn't the person who will hold grudges, but we have a little devil. Although she’s young, if

anyone bullies her mother, she'll definitely bully them back. You should be careful.”

Speaking her legendary little demon niece, Ada’s eyes lit up. “Do you think I'll be afraid of a kid?”

“If you don't believe me, you can try.” Alan was obviously confident in his demon daughter.

Ada joked, “Wow. This man feels different after becoming a dad. Miraculous.”

“The beauty of this is something you can’t understand right now.” Alan's face was obviously proud

of being her father.

Ada snorted indifferently, “I can easily just find a man to have a baby with.”

“You're not young anymore. You should really consider looking for a boyfriend now. Otherwise,

you'll be the leftover girl.” Alan meant more than what he had said.

Actually, as her eldest brother, it wasn't that he didn't know his little sister had been reluctant to get

involved into the world of emotions only because of that Phoenix man she once liked before, who

had ever been beaten by their mother, then gone missing after being an affectionate couple. Yet his

stupid little sister still hadn't let her feelings go.

However, according to her later understanding, that man was indeed not worthy of Ada. Although

his mother's trick wasn't kind, it did reveal the ugliest side of human nature at some point. That man

had betrayed love, and in exchange for the chance of his yearning dream to study abroad, he had

taken a large sum of money.

So, how lucky he was and what a blessing it was for him to have a silly girl like Olive Steele in this

age of materialistic temptation.

The word “leftover girl’ wasn't enough to break Ada’s powerful heart. “Whatever. I don't even need a

man to raise me. But, Alan, I've come all the way to see you. Shouldn't you treat me for a dinner?”

“Your brother has an appointment with a beautiful woman tonight, so I can't.” Alan seriously didn't

give her two cents.

"What a hoes-before-bros fellow,” Ada said disdainfully. She knew he had an appointment. In fact,

she just said that to change from the topic she didn't want to talk about.

Alan returned to the villa on seven. He had just entered and even hadn't taken off his shoes yet, he

shouted, “Honey, I'm home.”

At this moment, the night hadn't completely fallen, but you could barely see the cloudy dusk. The

street lights and neon lights in the city had lit up.

The lights in the villa were brightly lit, but after a long time, he didn't hear his wife's respond. Except

for music flowing in the air, the house was quiet.

Alan frowned slightly and walked into the kitchen. There was no one, and the counters were as clean

as a mirror, as if no one had touched them.

He went upstairs, pushed open their bedroom door and called, “Baby?”

The thick curtains blocked light coming through their room. He turned on the light and there was

no one. He couldn't help but muttered, “Where has she gone to?”

She had clearly said that she would wait for him here. He didn’t find her at the study too.

Picking up his phone, he was about to make a call, then a text message jumped in unexpectedly.

“Dear Mr. Hoyle, you've must be tired from working the whole day. Have a bath and relax. I've

prepared you a bath with essential oil.”

In the bathroom, the bath water really had been prepared and the temperature was just right. And a

change of clothes were neatly stacked on the chair next to it.

Alan stretched his neck. The moment she said it, the bones all over his body seemed to feel really

tired. Since his wife had been so considerate to prepare everything for him, he naturally couldn't

waste her kindness.

He sat in the bathtub and buried his body in the water. It was obviously the same as usual, but he

was so comfortable that he wanted to sigh, as if it had a magical effect.

What did his baby want to play?

The corners of his lips curled up and he sent a text.

“Mrs. Hoyle, since you know that your dear Mr. Hoyle is exhausted, shouldn't you come home and

rub your husband's back?”

At this moment, Olive was happily setting up an open candlelight dinner on the roof. Reading his

text message, she smiled a little and her fingers quickly tapped on her touch keyboard.

Hoyle is very busy now.”

Alan took his bath in enjoyment. The tiredness in his whole body was gone and he was refreshed.

He already knew his wife's whereabouts. Without waiting for her to point out, he had quietly

climbed up to the roof.

The night had spread and the sky was dark. The moon hid behind the clouds, and a few stars

flickered.

Candles were on the roof and the dim lights shone their small world into a dreamy one.

On the marble table, food on the plates overflowed with fragrance and it floated in the air.

All the candles were heart-shaped. The center of the marble table was placed another heart-shaped.

His baby bent down and finished the last touch, then sighed with satisfaction, as if a huge project

had been completed.

Alan approached her without making a sound, then pulled her into his arms. His action came a bit

sudden and she screamed in fright.

When she realized it was him, she angrily punched him in the chest, “Why didn’t you say a word that

you've come up?”
