Chapter 435: Ill-Intentioned Guest

Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife

Alan followed her in and hugged her waist from behind, “What do you want to eat?”

Olive turned around slowly and quietly said, “I want to eat human flesh barbecued bun. Should I cut

it from your body?”

This girl. Alan chuckled, pulled out a kitchen knife from the shelf and gestured on his bare arm.

“Would you like to eat forearm meat or hind leg meat? Or the belly? Up to you.”

Olive's face changed a little. Although she knew he was joking, she was really afraid that he would

hurt himself accidentally with the sharp knife flashing. That wasn't fun. But her little resentment

wasn't easy to be dissipated. Her mouth twitched, “The fat is too greasy, the lean meat is too thick. I

like belly meat the most, but it depends on your muscles. If it's not enough to bite, then forget it.”

Alan put the knife back where it was and smiled, “Just say it if you don't have the heart. So many

excuses.”

"Says who? Your meat is too old and hard. I'm afraid it'll knock my teeth, okay?” Olive snorted. She

turned to look for food as she was hungry. Even though she had eaten until so full last night, she

was squeezed out by him in the end.

But why was there nothing in the fridge except raw meat, vegetables, and a few cans of drinks. The

pot was also empty.

Dear mother, had you forgotten your daughter after you had a son-in-law?

Alan warmed a glass of milk for her and said, “Drink this first to stuff your belly a little. After you

change your clothes, I'll take you out for a meal to nourish your health.”

The word “nourish’ reflected her serious injury. Olive glared at him fiercely. Whose fault was it?

Wasn't it him who was the main offender.

"Don't glare me. Your eyeballs are about to fall out. You won't be pretty if they do. Good girl. Let's

go out after you drink this. I don't want my baby to starve.”

“Baby my ass. Didn't you ignore me last night?” Olive said unkindly. She suffered a lot. She was even

sucked dry and exhausted by him until she almost couldnt get up from bed

“Stupid. I was teasing you.”

“Is there anyone teasing like you?” Olive complained, grabbed the glass and drank it straight after a

few sips. But when on the last gulp, she accidentally choked on milk and it got into her nose. It was

uncomfortable that tears almost slipped out.

Was this what people often said? When someone was being unlucky, they would choked on water.

Alan hurriedly stroked her back, “Look at you, an adult, yet you're still being rash. No one is stealing

it from you.”

"Ah!" Olive suddenly shouted as if just thought of something.

"What's wrong?”

"What time is it?” She grabbed his wrist and looked at his watch. She shouted, “I have a meeting at

ten. This is all your fault. Alan Hoyle, I'm freaking hate you.”

She stamped his foot hard, rushing out of the kitchen like a gust of wind.

Her bustling appearance made the man behind her shake his helplessly as his painful toe. She didn't

even look that he was wearing sandals, yet she stepped on it. His toe was almost broken.

Chasing her to the bedroom, he watched her hurriedly looking for clothes in the cabinet.

“Ted called at half past nine to confirm whether the meeting is held as scheduled. I've pushed it for

you to three in the afternoon. It's only eleven, so you still have enough time to have lunch with your

husband.”

Olive threw her clothes to the bed and laid down her body too with a sigh of relief. “You didn't say it

earlier. Then I'll go back to sleep again. Wake me up at one.”

Alan walked over and hugged her, “You're going to be a lazybones if you sleep again.”

“It's because of you.” Olive rolled over, slipped away from his arms and covered her own face with a

pillow.

“Okay, okay. It's my fault.” Alan changed his gloomy face from yesterday. He coaxed her patiently

and kindly, then pulled her close again. “Change your clothes. I'll take you to eat something

delicious as an apologize gift.”

“I don't want to. I'm exhausted because of you.” After she drank the milk, her stomach wasn't that

empty anymore, but she was still extremely sleepy. He forbade her to lie down, so she had to lie on

him as a human sofa.

“I booked a place at Angel Hotel. And you won't show respect?” he whispered in her ear.

"Huh?" Olive’s slow brain took a long time to reach. Her sleepy eyes suddenly opened, “Where did

you say?”

"Angel, your territory,” Alan sighed. It turned out that the appeal of the Angel Hotel was greater

than her husband.

Olive rubbed her eyes, “Then can I be the master of my territory?”

"Of course. I don’t mind you pay the bill, treat me.”

“Sure, my treat. You pay the bill.”

Alan slapped her ass, “You say I'm stingy, you're stingier than me.”

“It hurts.” Olive rolled away from him, then kicked his butt hard with her feet.

Alan didn't have the slightest precaution, so he was kicked off the bed by her, making him

awkwardly supporting his body with both hands so he didn't roll on the ground.

Olive giggled with joy, “Who told you to hit me? This is called one who doesn't avenge an injustice

isn't a woman.”

Alan stood up from the ground and pounced towards her in the middle of the bed. He tightly

trapped her, making her unable to move. “Girl, it seems that I've still left you with a little strength

after last night. Do you still want more?”

The dangerous alarm rang above Olive immediately. She shook her head quickly, “No, honey. I'm

starving, I want to eat.”

When it was time to show weakness, she had to show it instantly, or she would suffer.

Fortunately, Alan also pitied her body. He knew enough was enough and he was just teasing her

just now. He slowly loosened his restraint on her.

After changing their clothes, the two went out hand in hand. In the car, he took out a few

chocolates like a magic trick.

“If you're hungry, eat this first.”

This man was actually a very attentive and considerate guy. Olive's heart went warm. She peeled

open one and popped it into her mouth, then another to feed him.

He didn't like sweets, so he frowned. But when he opened his mouth to speak, she had forced the

chocolate into his mouth, then gave a silly smile at him with a triumphant glint flashed across her

eyes.

Olive never thought that the fly incident could quickly subdue. Since someone had deliberately

instigated a dispute, they naturally wouldn't let Angel Hotel and her easily retreat from the storm.

But she didn't expect that the second wave would come so quickly, though the method wasn't

necessarily smart.

She was having a meal with Alan at that time.

“To know a department, especially the flaw of the department that directly faces customers in the

service industry is to be a customer ourselves.” Alan said to her.

Olive also understood this principle.

“Then, dear Mr. Hoyle, through the process of this meal, do you have any constructive comments?”

“It's okay. It's just one meal and I can't find anything wrong with it.”

Olive was obviously dissatisfied with his answer, “Mr. Hoyle, you don't have to be polite because I'm

your wife.”

Alan stretched out his hand and stroked her head. “I'm saying the truth, not to make you happy. You

did a great job. Compared to when I first came to Angel Hotel, the service here has improved a lot.”

His wife was actually a very capable person and very obsessed with certain things. Mr. Geve was also

a very good boss. He was willing to considerate in share dealing when he realized that his wife was

capable.

10% of the shares. Not everyone who had the courage to just give it away. But Mr. Geve had as he

saw a long-term perspective than anyone else.

In fact, Mr. Geve wasn't at a loss. Within a few years, the value created by his wife was far higher

than the ten percentage.

After Mr. Geve found his daughter, Alan wanted her to return the Angel Hotel to the Geve and let

their family managed it.

He wanted to stand side by side with her in the career kingdom he built for her. He could give her

any position and job she interested in or wanted. But what he wanted the most was to make her be

his personal assistant, for firstly, he didn't want her to be as exhausted as she was now, secondly, he

could see her by his ide at any time.

Many men didn't like their women to get involved in their work, and they didn’t even want them to

come to their own company to disturb their work, but he didn't think so. He would be happily to let

her be queen of the kingdom he created, because he knew she was a proper woman.

A few years ago, when he still couldn't see her, he asked her what kind of life she wanted.

At that time, she was still a simple girl. She said that what she wanted was to marry her beloved

man, open a small shop and be the boss, give birth to a baby, and she didn't need a lot of money,

but hope to travel once a year; If conditions permitted, ten or a half month was the best. If it didn't,

three to five days were fine.

She was a woman who didn't have high demands towards life. Even now, even if she knew he was

extremely wealthy, she had no special demand. Unlike other women who wanted to buy house, car,

and a variety of expensive clothes, jewelry and bags to show off.

She didn't pursue luxury goods. Most of the jewelry he bought for her were locked in the cabinet.

She only wore the ring on her finger and the anklet on her ankle that couldn't be opened without

the key in his hand. She once said with a smile that it was too flamboyant to wear too many

expensive stuffs, fearing of being robbed.

She was the kind of woman who was a low-profile person but high-profile in doing things.

Just as they had finished their meal and were about to leave, a noise was suddenly heard from

behind them.

“What is wrong with Angel Hotel? A few days ago, there was a fly incident that caused a lot of

rumors. Today, I have a hair in my food. Is your hygiene up to standard? Does your service reach the

star level?”

Alan frowned, while Olive turned her head to the direction of the voice only to see the loudly

speaking woman in red sitting with her back to her. She couldn't see what her face looked like. She

only knew that her expression must be very fierce at the moment.

The waiter immediately bowed ninety degrees and was very careful to compensate, “I'm sorry, miss.

This is our mistake. We will give you a new one, can we?"
