Chapter 153
Rise of the Crusader
153 Rewards
After a few seconds, Raphael stepped out of the tower.
With his hand then placed in his pocket, he stared at the students in the surrounding, and his lips curved inwardly.
Raphaelâs eyes soon came in contact with Elisa, and as he saw the look on her face, he gave her a gentle nod.
âRaphael, I love you!!!!!â
âGet the hell out, bitch... He is mine.â
âWhat do you mean he is yours, we are match and made in heaven, donât you know.â
âRaphael, only a woman of my body is fit to accompany you through the journey of life.â A woman with a voluptuous build yelled.
âI want to be the mother of your children, Raphael. My body is yours to act willfully with, please come plough me, so we can have children.â
Everyone paused when they heard the woman who had just spoken. They turned towards her with bewildered looks on their faces.
.....
As for Raphael, he raised an eyebrow, before then shaking his head.
âWhat are your thoughts on going public with Raphael, about your relationship,â Becky said as she stared at Raphael.
âIt would really be a good thing to do. That way you can shut the women who would be coming after him.â
A chuckle escaped Elisaâs mouth after Becky spoke. She was about to speak when Melindaâs voice rang out.
âGoing public doesnât really matter because even if they know he is in a relationship with someone, they still wouldnât back out.â
âIt all comes down to Raphael,â Melinda said.
As the three of them continued to talk about Raphael, he went straight to the bet faction. immediately.
Gus appeared on Raphaelâs shoulder as soon as he walked out of the tower and let out a long hiss.
âI know right, I should have asked you to bet more points... Sigh!â Raphael shook his head in regret.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Even though what he was going to win from the three million points he bet was huge, Raphael still felt if he had increased the stake, the reward would be even more massive.
âWhatâs going on,â Raphael mumbled as he arrived in the bet faction.
The place was overly crowded, with people screaming and yelling at those at the counter.
And among the screamers, Raphael saw Bane, Aiden, and Devon.
âIt seems to me like the bet faction wants to raze the ground,â Bane exclaimed.
âTransfer the points right this instant, or else I will rip all of you apart, and begin to sell your body parts to the black market.â
âEven though I wouldnât be able to make those points out of you immediately, Iâm sure when I move onto your friends, families, relatives, extended family then I would be able to get those points.â
Apparently, after Raphael ascended to the twelfth level, Bane, Aiden, and Devon rushed over to the faction immediately.
The points they had won were enormous, to the extent that they would surely rank in the top one thousand most richest students in the academy.
However, getting to the bet faction, the people at the counter refused to pay the points.
They went with the excuse of saying they were experiencing some technical issues in making the payment, and hereafter the threats and yelling began.
As Bane gave a series of threats to the people in the best faction, Aiden followed up with his.
Suddenly, about fifteen skeletal figures marched to the counter. They were holding a bone-made sword in their hand, while their body brimmed with an intense amount of killing intent.
Camille was standing in front of the fifteen undead with a long staff in her head.
âYou have one minute to make the transfer of the point, or you will be sent to the decaulion cave,â Camille stated.
The expression of the people from the bet faction changed very quickly.
Even Bane, Aiden, Devon, and those who came screaming with them once they heard that amount of points had been won.
There was only one reason why Camille would make mention of sending someone to the decaulion cane, and it was she had received permission and power from the three big forces.
âLady Camille, it doesnât have to get this far.â
A member of the bet faction spoke.
The man was of middle age and was wearing a black fitted suit, however, his face was covered in sweats.
âWe are currently facing an issue, as we said. And we also need to confirm if whether or not Raphael is alive before we can make any payment.â
The man in the suit had only just spoken when Raphael raised his hand and said, âIâm alive, and also right here.â
Instantly, fear swept over the manâs body.
He heaved a deep breath and then whispered into the ears of the bet faction members who were close to him.
âWould there be any problem in getting my points, or do I have to tell the cabal you refuse to pay me.â Raphael blurted.
There was no fun in beating around the bush for Raphael, and he went straight to the point.
And if the bet faction werenât still terrified of the cabalâs name being mentioned, he was going to pull the big guns out.
Whether it was the man in suits or the other members of the bet faction, their eyes twitched as they heard Raphael.
There was already the decaulion cave threat to deal with, and now there were also chances that the cabal would come knocking at their door.
Both paths were leading to execution, but while one would deliver a slow and cruel death, the other would perform the job within the blink of an eye.
Suddenly, a blonde woman wearing the academy uniform appeared in front of the man.
She stared at Raphael and the others, and after a few seconds, she spoke.
âTransfer them the points. They earned it, so itâs only right we fulfill our side of the deal.â
A smile appeared on Bane, Aiden, Devon, and Camilleâs faces.
Their cheeks were raised, and they eagerly waited for the points to be transferred to them.
As the man in the black suit heard the woman, he moved closer to her and whispered into her eyes. It wasnât even up to five seconds after and the woman yelled.
âWhat the hell!!!!â
Raphaelâs eyebrows furrowed, âIs there any problem?â
The woman gulped and then shook her head.
âThere isnât. You will get your six hundred million points,â She said. And moving her gaze toward Camille, her voice rang out again.
âYou will also get your three hundred million points, and,â She paused, staring at Bane, Aiden, and Devon.
She wanted to speak, but the words were more harder than she realized.
âW-We... We will transfer the three billion points to you.â
This time around, it was Raphael who was the most shocked. He stared at Bane, Aiden, and Devon who had a huge smile on his face, and his mouth opened slightly right after.
As a snort came from Gus, Raphaelâs lips curved inwardly.
âShut the hell up, Gus, why didnât you also bet that high.â
Gus was about to respond to Raphaelâs words when multiple voices rang out in the domain.
It then became very loud, but if there was one thing Raphael and the others got to know, then it was that someone else had passed the twelfth level.
