chapter 23

So, guys I know I have taken a decade to update..really sorry. So for you let me give you all a little recap.Suraj, brief Dhwani about her past life, how she vanished twice, and why Shivam or Yash couldn't be the king. Dhwani gets to the pack land for information about what actually happened. Why did Shivam told her that she have to be fight against her Mom. Now...(it's feels like an tv episode, 😅😅) chapter is really not fully edited and may have lots of grammatical mistakes. I wnated to edit it before posting but it would take long time as I'm again busy with next few chapters.Chp-22"Dhwani.." and everything frozed. It was Mom.I never expected her to be here, right now. She slided so smoothly towards me, like she was just floating on the ground. Sure,she hasn't changed. Her, gown still floated with different color, her sparking eyes looked hypnotic. the crowd parted to make a way for her. When she reached till the level where I stood, something unexpected happened.Just then and there when she met her eyes with mine that movement was enough for my wings to spread out, angrily, I could feel the rage that flew throughout my body spreading the aura of pure hate. For a second I could see she looked shocked, well everyone present were in shock too. I could feel the fear rolling in air. A terrified gasp made me snap out, the little child was now cowering behind her shaking mother. My eyes soften for a while. Well now if I think about it, I could hear something at the back of my mind, but it wasn't Diya for sure, cause it was not a voice, just -a sound. A sound everyone in this world is quite familiar with. But I ignored it, right now in front of me was someone I need to take care.The rose that was still in the air, but now it was on fire. Blue flames emitting higher and higher."Back off!" I yelled with a stance so she could understand it."My child, I wouldn't do that if I were you.." her voice held threat."What do you want?" I asked using sign language. I know she knows to read it. Why wouldn't she, she has shared at least ten years of my life.Again I heard the sound at back of my mind. What the hell, it sounds something hurtful. It was just-"I want my life back. I want him back with me." She softly whispered like she was pleading,"But you, you destroyed it all, and never ever I expected that my daughter to be the one who would destroy my life!" Her tone went a octave high her eyes held mine with fire, and my wings with a flick pushed her back with a high power making her fall down on the ground. I don't know if it was me or the rage in me that caused it. Diya was emitting a real rage, and I was sure it wasn't towards Mom. It was something else. But, it was caused by Mom."We loved you, cared for you like our own child, but in return what did we get? We were just wishing that you will be with us forever, that we would be a happy family and then one day .." I didn't want to hear this! She slowly got up."..A soul was ripped out of the body, a painful death. But it didn't stop there; it took my soul too, making me lifeless!" she roared out making everyone in the hall flinch. She again made her way towards me slowly. And with a cunning smile she said "So, my dear, I want my life back and it is only possible when I take the same from you what you took from me." It did sound wrong."I waited; I waited long till you could be eligible. And now you could hear it. You could hear the sound. The time came finally." Tick...tick...tick...tick..The sound again came this time, but it was more audible."Let's go Dhwani. It's time to keep everything in its place." The gorgeous lady she called herself my Mom whispered and in next second we were at the palace.*********Third person POVLucky, the beta of the pack suspected already that something was really fishy. Seeing Dhwani at his territory was really not a common incidence.It was a long ago, when Shivam told him, that the time will come when the pack has to get ready for a war. And with every passing day, he always would feared about that day. Though he looked jolly and happy, he was serious when it comes to his duty for his pack.So, when Dhwani showed up suddenly he called his Alpha, Shivam informing him about her."Alpha, Dhwani is here, at our pack land." He informed over telephone. "I know." Was the answer he got from him and the line went dead.Not only that, while the pack gathering when he saw his former Luna Vani, he was shocked would be an understatement. Though he couldn't understand a single word about what was happening it went more complicated when suddenly Dhwani and her Mom disappeared.****"Yash, Suraj, the time came." Shivam announced. Yash looked at him with a alarmed look."Tick...tick..tick.."Suraj could already listen the clock tickling. The watch that he was wearing knew how much time was left with them.Suraj saw the Angel ring formed on Yash's head indicating that Dhwani have already shifted to her Angel. Even Shivam could sense her."Where is Dhwani?" Yash immediately asked but, before Shivam could answer there was a rush of wind and Mia appeared along with Siya."We need to be at palace as soon as possible." Siya told them urgently. "But we need to be prepared." Mia said staring directly Suraj emitting hatred. He understood what she ment. They can't just visit the palace without any backup. They knew with whom they are gonna fight, and what hold of power they have. He have once witness those, when he was young.*******************************Flash back.It was more than decade when that incident happened. Shivam was little mature than Yash. Dhwani was ten barely.Vani, was cooking in the kitchen loving the aroma of the freshly made omlet and sandwich. Shivam eagerly entered the living room following the smell. "Shiv, you better not mess with my cooking with your puppy action.""But, what have I done?" He pouted cutely but secretly stole the sandwich right under her Mother's nose. "Shiv!" She slapped his shoulder with a spatula. He laughed and ran upstairs to call Yash and Dhwani. "Shiv, you better be in your best behavior today. We are having a guest today." Vani yelled after him flapping the omlet on the pan and was received with 'yes Ma!'.The front door opened and a young man with chelished face entered. Ansh was a Alpha of the pack. Vani's loving husband. "Vani, I'm back. Have you prepared..""..For the lunch we are having," she interrupted her mate, "Oh, come on Ansh, you have now repeated this for the thenth time today." Ansh, the Alpha of the pack being so nervous about the lunch was so unlikely. But it was bound to be as, they were meeting the King of fire himself. They knew that his Son was the mate of Dhwani. They have seen him, and even witness their daughter vanishing twice. Fire would always destroy. The quote never fail to express itself. It always destroys. And that was the sole reason they have invited the king himself to talk.After lighting off the stove, Vani turned and came to hug Ansh to find a little comfort. "They would agree to us right?" She timidly asked her husband, a Alpha, but most importantly a Father. "We will try our best. Don't worry, we will protect her this time." He assured her tightening his grip As the time passed by they were becoming more and more nervous. When Shivam and Yash came down along with Dhwani they would now and then either ask for sweet dessert that Vani made or asked who are visiting them. "I'm telling you both last time now, be quite and don't you dare say anything irrelevant to anyone who would be present here. Ok." Vani warned both of them. Ansh gave her one arm hug as comfort, calming her. It was 2'o clock now, the door bell rang and hurriedly Shivam rushed to open the door. He saw a man, in brightest color of orange he have ever seen. He could barely see his face being short compared to the man on the door. "Agniraj," Vani bowed a little behind Shivam with Ansh, having welcoming gesture for him to enter. When she saw Shivam was still hindering the door for him to enter she quickly pulled him by her side giving an apologetic smile to Agniraj, the King of fire "Thanks for coming at this short notice." "It's no bother Vani, afterall we are familiy." Angiraj cheered smiling. Shivam looked at him carefully, the man was tall enough to reach the door frame, he was clean shaved with a little subtle at his chin and had twinkling bright blue eyes. While Dhwani and Yash were still busy in chattering what they want to eat, both of them oblivious about what was happening at the door step. "Agniraj, let's get inside." Ansh said and moved aside for him to enter with him. They barely got three steps inside when Agniraj decided to interrupt, "Ansh, let me warn you, if you have invited me for any discussing about the relationship between my son and your daughter and I'm afraid you won't get anything out of it." Vani and Ansh both knew this was coming, that he would never agree."Listen me out, Agniraj, Dhwani is not ready, I barely know if Diya is still capable of protecting Dhwani, or she can protect her mate, and vice-versa. Last time when she died, remember what happened?""I know, I know. But Suraj is her mate and you know you can't keep them apart." Agniraj argued."And what happens when none of them would survive! Suraj isn't going to be here for long. You know that. Till the time they get each other they will part again." Ansh growled. He just wanted his daughter to survive. "It's better if they both never meet. It's better for both of them to live." "You aren't in the state to fight this out, you know. And Dhwani may not know now that there is her mate somewhere waiting for her, but Suraj knows. And what do you think the palace will say about the Queen without a mate?" He raised a eyebrow.Shivam was witnessing something unusual. He wasn't understanding everything but what he knew was the man in front was dangerous, and his sister was to be protected from him and his son. "Alpha, it wasn't a secret that it was Diya's decision what happened to her." Again Agniraj"We are not discussing this here about that. Let beyonce be beyonce. What I'm telling you that let's not repeat what happened again. That's it." Shivam saw another man witnessing the orderl but before he could tell about his presence the man spoke "Well I agree with you. Let's not repeat what happened again." They all turned to see a young man with evil smile listening to their conversation. "As the Queen isn't sure how she can rule her own Kingdom, why not to give responsibility to the one who is  capable.""Vish."
