Twenty-One-Holy Batshit Batman!

They stood at the edge of the pool. He said..what do I do? She smiled at him and said “I am going to lead you to your powers…the same way my grams lead me. I want you to sit here beside me. Take my hand. Now. Quiet your mind…listen to what’s around us. Find your solace. Now. Fill your mind with me. Feel my presence inside of your mind. Smell my essence. Only me.” She closes her eyes and fills her mind with him. She will allow him to see what she needs him to do for her to help him.

Rafe opens his eyes and sees he is standing in a garden. Filled with gardenias and lavender, he breathes in deeply. In the far corner of the garden he spots Starla sitting on a double swing. He darts over to her swooping her up and kissing her. She giggles. He said is this where you live? She nods and says Adira and me. He said “it’s enchanting “ she replies “it’s the home Ariadne created for us so we can be happy. Wait until you see Adira. Come on!”

She skips past the garden into a meadow and there lay Adira basking in the sun. She spots them and leaps at Rafe licking him all over. Rafe laughs and tells her he loves her. Starla says, in a sad voice “We don’t get company anymore. Grams used to come a lot. Sometimes, when Ariadne was asleep she would come and keep us company all night. She said she knew we get lonely.” Rafe said “I will come visit. Now that I know how. I will come. I love you both and would love to spend time with you”

Starla squealed and leaped into his arms and kissed him all over his face. He laughed and said “Let’s see what I need to see so I can come visit again” She giggled and grabbed his hand skipping off toward a waterfall… as they approached the edge she whipped a shield in front of him and said “You can’t fall in there. It’s too dangerous. It’s where our magic lives. We have many gifts. Like healing..that’s a gift. Sending calm into a group of people… another gift. Controlling water…that’s a power. See where I’m going with this? Good! Now, lean over the edge. You will see different colored ropes. Each color is a different gift or power. You don’t have to worry about the colors..it’s just an identifier anyway.

Now..Adriadne has to enter your mind and determine your colors so she knows what to train.

Andrea walked into a forest it was night..the full moon was out and it was beautiful. But it wasn’t going to help her find his magic light. She heard a howl off to her left so she took off running. When she broke the treeline, there sat Baron in the middle of the clearing. She ran to him and hugged him kissing him all over his face. She heard his deep rumbling chuckle in her head. He said I love you mate. She said “I love you. Is it always night, here in your home?” He said “Yes. Apparently Rafe thinks Wolf..Howling…Full Moon.. equals happiness. He and I have discussed it.” She laughs. She says “it is going to make it harder to find the magic lights. I don’t want to fall into a crevice “ Baron said “I have an idea. There was a bright flash of light over to the west a ways. The night you and Rafe first mated. It was just the one light and I couldn’t tell you if more happened the night Adira and I mated..I wasn’t here” She laughed and said “Makes perfect sense…Now let’s head out to find that light!”

They walked quite a distance before Baron said “It should be around here .” Andrea squinted her eyes searching for a glow. She spotted it about twenty yards away. She said “Come Baron. Let’s go see what powers and gifts you boys have!” She crawled to the edge of the drop off and looked over. She gasped and said “Oh Baron! This is good. You have telekinesis…and you can heal. Oh my Goddess! You have a shield like me…and fire! You have fire! You can see auras. You hit the mother lode. I can’t see auras. Damn!” Baron laughed. She said “this is where I leave you, my love. But I will be back. And I’m gonna work on getting you some sunshine! I love you and share all of this with Rafe..saves me explaining it!”

She opens her eyes and looks at him. He says “Holy Batshit Batman! Can we do that again? That was so cool! Can we have sex like that? Could Adira visit Baron like that and they could..you know….bowchickawowwow?” She laughed and said “What are you? Ten? And what’s with my poor Baron living in the dark…give him some sunshine. Maybe some deer to chase! I mean..Dude! The only thing he does in there is howl at the moon and sleep.” He said “He never said he didn’t like it” She said “He likes it! More importantly, he loves you! But he needs some variety! It’s the spice of life!”

He asks, do you give the girls variety? She says “Yup. Sure do! They have clocks the same as us.. so they have their days and nights. Their home changes with the seasons.. Starla loves to grow her own vegetables and she’s a wonderful cook. Adira has her meadow but sometimes she stays with Starla in the cottage…especially on cold nights. She has a spring fed waterfall and plenty of fresh game to hunt and butterflies to chase. She loves chasing butterflies and the meat she kills she always shares with Starla! My girls’ happiness means everything to me. For so very long, they were all I had “ He wraps his arms around her and says “ You are the most loving woman I have ever met. There is not a selfish bone in your body! I love you and I think I will try some of what you have given Adira. I can, at least allow him to lay in the sunlight …I doubt I will achieve all that you have..your imagination is a scary thing” and sge just grins happily.

Then she says “we need to head to the meeting. And tomorrow we start to train you! How exciting is that!!? She squeals and he laughs..picking her up and running towards the packhouse.
