Chapter 1

****Ryley keeps a diary and all her diary entries are italicized and bolded****

She touched my thigh but kept her head down. I lifted her head and told her she was beautiful. I pulled her in close for a hug. She told me she was happy she had me now. I could never hurt this girl. She was so beautiful, so pure, so innocent, so likable. I feel like I want to protect her from everything. I'll always do whatever I can for her. I asked if she wanted to watch TV. I put on a random show on Netflix. We laughed and she continued to tell me about her day. Her voice was so soft and excited. She never really talked above a whisper.

She kept her hand on my thigh as she told me all about her day. I asked questions every now and then trying to keep the focus on her. She deserved all my attention. Things eventually got quiet. She put her head down again- something she did a lot. I asked what was wrong. She looked up and said "nothing". We locked eyes and she leaned in to kiss me. Of course, I kissed back. She climbed into my lap and kissed my neck. It completely took me by surprise. I held her back gently. "Babe, your kisses are great", I told her. "I want more" she said. "Are u sure?.. We can just".. She started to slide her hand up my thigh. "Please" she said as she kissed me slowly. What was this girl doing to me? How did we get here? She always surprises me.

How can someone so cute and sweet seduce me like this? I was torn. I wanted to continue, but I wasn't sure that was the best thing to do. How did I let this girl get me this far? She obviously wants more, but I don't think I should be the one to give it to her. She deserves the world and I don't know if I can give her that- not right now.

About two weeks ago, Ryley made an account on a dating app. Her heart had just been broken by Jade. They had been dating for two years. Jade was 24 too. She had short with long brown curly hair. She had a gorgeous smile that instantly drew Ryley toward her. Ryley met her on a dating app that wasn't specifically for hookups. Jade was nice, but she was always used to getting her way and would get mad over small things. This would actually turn Ryley on most of the time. She liked her women sassy. However, she wouldn't tolerate cheating. She found out that Jade was still hooking up with her ex, Jason, and lied about it. She knew she would miss Jade. She had to do something to get over her. She was still attracted to her.. who wouldn't be really? She couldn't let herself go back to her just for sex. Plus she didn't want to get her heartbroken again. She trusted Jade. She had told her things she never told anyone before. She really couldn't believe she cheated.

Ryley took out her phone and made a profile on Lesbian Hookup. She picked the best picture of herself that she could find in her phone. Ryley was cute, but she didn't always see her own beauty. She was athletic and petite. She had curly dark brown hair and caramel skin. She came off as a stem lesbian and her style was very chic and original. Ryley took some time to find the perfect pictures to upload. She ending up choosing a mixture between face pics and full body pics. On her profile, she wrote 'Looking for intimacy and friends'. She decided to keep it cute and vague. She continued to fill out the profile with hobbies and interests.

After making her profile, Ryley fell asleep. He was so tired from the day she had. She looked at her phone and noticed she had a notification saying she had 5 messages on the hookup app. She opened the app and checked it. The message at the top was from a girl named Olivia. She was 19 but really cute. Long blonde hair and blue eyes. She didn't have a tag line on there, but she assumed she would be down to hook up. Ryley decided to message her.

Olivia: Hey :)

Ryley: Hey cutie, how are you?

Olivia: Great. How are you?

Ryley: Better now that I'm talking to you ;)

Olivia: :D

Ryley: So what do you have planned for the day?

Olivia: Nothing really

Ryley: Would you like to meet for coffee later?

Olivia: Sure!

Ryley: Great! Send me your phone number. I'll text you the details

Olivia: Ok, perfect. I'll talk to you soon

This rebound thing is going to be eaaaaassssyyy, Ryley thought to herself. The two decided to meet up at a coffee shop near Ryley's apartment

Ryley went in early to grab a table. She texted Olivia to tell her where she was sitting. She was nervous, but she didn't know why. That wasn't like her. She was always confident. She put her phone down and looked around nervously- waiting for Olivia. Ryley started bouncing her leg up and down. She was becoming anxious and crazy thoughts were going through her head.

What if this is a set-up she thought? What if she is a catfish? What if she doesn't like me? What if we never.... Her thought was cut off as she saw a blonde enter the room. She had on a cute, blue and white dress, a hat, and sunglasses. She was wearing white sandals and her hair was in curls. She was gorgeous. Olivia looked down shyly after entering. Ryley decided to wave so Olivia would see her. Olivia noticed made her way to the table and Ryley stood up to greet her. Once Olivia got to the table, Ryley smiled, said hi, and extended her arms for a hug. Ryley already loved the way Olivia felt in her arms. She was tiny and warm and she smelled so good. It wasn't perfume. It was a natural scent that she had never smelled on anyone before.

They both sat down and Olivia took off her sunglasses.

"How are you, Olivia? Ryley asked

"Oh, you can call me Liv....I-I'm great. How are you?" Olivia said as she blushed and looked down

"I'm good" Ryley said as she smiled. "Should we order something? What do you like? Tea? Coffee?"

"I'd love some coffee. I prefer it over tea"

"Perfect. I'll be the tea drinker today then. I'll be right back"

Ryley got up to order the drinks and came back to the table with them

"Here you go" Ryley said sliding the coffee in front of Liv

" Thanks!" Liv said smiling. " I don't think I could make it through the day without coffee" Liv said laughing

"I used to be the same way, but I don't like how it makes me feel now so I drink tea"

"Fair enough" Liv said as she sipped her coffee

Ryley couldn't take her eyes off Liv. She was really cute. They both sipped their drinks for a while and they were quiet for a while

"I'm surprised you were on that app" Ryley said breaking the silence

"Really? Why?"

"I wouldn't think that a beautiful girl like you wouldn't need an app to find someone"

"Oh!" Liv said as she blushed and looked down. "Well, I really... I mean... I've never done anything like this before"

"What do you mean?"

"I've never met up with anyone from the site"

"Oh. I feel special then" Ryley said smiling

Liv blushed and fidgeted in her seat. She smiled and the two continued their conversation

My day was great. I met up with Liv and she was so beautiful. She was shy, but very sweet. I can't believe she's single and using that site. We met up at a coffee shop and then decided to go for a walk. After the walk, we went back to my apartment and the conversation got more serious. She told me she was a lesbian and that she has never been with anyone sexually before. She's never really had a real relationship, but she definitely likes girls.

I didn't want to tell her, but all this made me kind of anxious. I didn't want to do anything with her that she wasn't ready for. I thought something might happen, but after hearing that -I slowed my roll. We talked about other things though. I told her about my previous relationship and why I made and a profile on the app. She didn't think that was weird, surprisingly. She was supportive and told me that might be a good idea for now. She's so sweet and kind. She actually listened, unlike the ex whose name shall not be mentioned. All we did was argue.

I would love to do things with this girl, but she's young. I'm not sure if she even knows what she really wants. She says she doesn't want a relationship either but why wouldn't she! She's never really had one before, yet she wants a sexual relationship. She will most likely get attached and want something real and I know I can't give her that right now. I'm torn. I really want to spare her feelings, but on the other hand, she's so cute. We were sitting on the couch watching tv and I kept starring at her lips. They are perfect. I think she caught me, but I quickly looked away. I think she knows I like her. She definitely likes me, but I think it's best if we stay friends. I can see this getting bad really fast. I don't want to break this girl's heart.
