Chapter 25
After Transmigration, The Male Lead and I had a HE
However, when she woke up, something felt off.
Unknowingly, when she fell asleep, she had moved and ended up with half of her arm lying on Xie Xinglinâs table.
Her eyes were dazed and she hadnât fully processed her surroundings. When she sat up and rubbed her eyes, she even accidentally elbowed Xie Xinglinâs hand that held a pen.
An elongated pen mark appeared on the surface of Xie Xinglinâs paper.
Su Qiuge instantly woke up and swallowed a huge scream back into her throat as if her elbow was going to be gone in the next second.
Xie Xinglin first looked down at the mark that appeared on his paper before he glanced sideways at Su Qiuge.
A small red pattern had appeared on her forehead due to sleeping on the desk for too long. It was printed on her pure white face and made the whole person appear a little muddled.
The eyelashes were dense, similar to a small silk-gauze fan, and her recently opened eyes seemed to be covered with a mist of water. The chin was sharp and the neck exposed by the collar of the school uniform was thin and pale, even the light blue blood vessels could be clearly seen.
She appeared fragile and defenseless.
Xie Xingling unconsciously pressed the inside of his right cheek with the tip of his tongue before he slowly retracted his gaze.
Then, Su Qiuge said with a dazed face, âIâm sorry, it wasnât on purposeâ
Xie Xinglin didnât care to respond to her at first but became a little intrigued when he saw her like this.
He lowered his eyes and thought for a moment as he twirled his pen. Then he lowered his voice and whispered to her, âWhen you fell asleep earlier, it seemed like you had a dream.â
Su Qiuge:?
Su Qiuge: âWait, did I do something strange?â
Xie Xinglin nodded slightly and slowly said, âYou said some stuff to me.â
Su Qiugeâs panicked, she couldnât have told him how she transmigrated, right??
Xie Xinglin saw her expression flashed between nervousness and remorse before she ended up staring at him with a scrunched up face and large eyes.
He hooked his finger at her, âCome closer.â
Su Qiuge leaned closer and heard him whispered in a low voice, âEarlier, you called meâ¦â
âââdearâââ
Su Qiuge: ???
Xie Xinglin slowly raised his lips, âFather.â
Su Qiuge: ââ¦â¦.â
What an actor.
I believed your lie.
She saw a traced of humor flashed in the other personâs originally cold eyes before he adjusted his posture, became serious again, and continued to work on his paper.
She vowed, she will never sleep in school again.
The time between classes couldnât be called long or short. The whole morning passed amid writing papers and listening to lectures.
Su Qiuge went to the cafeteria at noon and after a simple lunch, she returned to the classroom.
She found herself stuck on a complex physics question.
After she calculated for a while, she got an answer that didnât seem quite right. Although physics was one of her weaker subjects, she still had some ability to determine if the answer seemed reasonable.
She carefully checked the conditions of the question, but when she tried to recalculate, she still couldnât figure out where she made the mistake.
Right when she was scratching her head in wonder, she suddenly turned her head and saw Xie Xinglinâs physics paper righteously out in the open on the desk.
Su Qiuge stared at the last question that was fully answered for a few seconds before she looked away with great integrity.
What a joke.
Was she the kind of person who that needed to look at other peopleâs methods to answer questions?
For difficult questions, the correct answer is most valuable and fulfilling when one figures it out after careful deliberation and persistent effort!
Soon, ten minutes passed and Su Qiuge put down her pen.
After ten minutes of hard work, she still got the same answer.
Forget it, goodbye to that sense of accomplishment.
She once again set her gaze on Xie Xinglinâs paper.
The proper method of solving the problem seemed to wave at her.
Iâll look just once.
How can the actions of a scholar be called peeking?
So Su Qiuge moved her head little by little towards the paper on her seatmateâs desk and quickly scanned the method of solving the complex question at the end.
When Xie Xinglin walked into the classroom, he saw a fluffy head leaning against his desk. It swayed around his paper as if it was a chicken pecking at rice.
When Xie Xinglin approached, he heard the head said, âHow is that possible, how could the acceleration be three? He mustâve calculated wrong! Iâve done it many times and itâs 2 times the square root of 2!
âHe definitely calculated it wrong!â
âAh, waitâââ
The head suddenly shook, âWhat is this formula? How come Iâve never seen it before? Did he come up with it?â
The head carefully scanned it for a while and racked its brain. After thinking for a while, âOhh, it turned out to be derived.â
The head swayed around the paper several more times and after she copied down the solving method, she consoled herself, âThis problem isnât that difficult. I just didnât make good use of the conditions. If I was more careful, this wouldnât have happened.â
The head finally concluded, âHow could I end up looking at other peopleâs answers? Iâve really fallen.â
The head that was mumbling to itself abruptly stopped when Xie Xinglin pulled his chair out and made a sound.
