Chapter 160
Fated For Lycan's Luna
Chloe
It was an hour after our talk, I was standing outside of the hall, feeling a little anxious yet content.
Standing closely behind me was Blake. Like me, he was quiet and not saying a word. But though we
were quiet, it was not uncomfortable. Because there were no words needed to be said between us.
At that moment, I felt like I fully understood Blake. The two of us moved together towards the hall
and I peeked inside. When I saw what was inside the hall, the comfortable feeling in my heart
immediately vanished and was replaced with irritation.
Inside the hall, all of my pack members are laying on the ground, unconscious. In the middle of
them were Arthur and another man, watching at my pack members with distracted and confused
expressions.
"Are you sure my pack members are not hurt?" I hissed at Blake who also peeked inside. "It's been
an hour, why are they still unconscious?" I questioned him.
Instead of answering my question, Blake gave me a smirk as if my question was funny. I glared at
him, making Blake raise his arms in surrender.
"Don't worry," he finally replied. "We used paralyzing needles to knock them down. They are not
hurt in any other way," he explained. "Paralyzing needles?" I softly muttered before looking back at
my pack members.
There were only a few members of the Red Moon Pack. As their Alpha, I am fully aware of their
capabilities. The unconscious members inside the hall are the cream of the top, the strongest
warriors of my pack. For them to be knocked out so fast, the effects of those paralyzing needles are
simply wondrous.
Thinking about that, I started to become interested. Seeing my interest, Blake continued to explain,
"It's the result of the collaboration between the Frost Fang Pack and teacher Astor's knowledge. If
you want, I will supply you with them,â he told me with a pampering tone.
My cheeks felt hot, it has been a long time since I last heard him talk like this. I did not want him to
see me being embarrassed, thus, I coldly turned around and replied, "We can talk about that later.
For now let us finalize our cooperation and deal with our packs first."
I started walking inside without waiting for his reply. But as I approached the hall, I started to feel
worried.
Although Blake and I already agreed to be together and acknowledged each other as our mate, we
both agreed that it was better if the two of us kept it as a secret between us first. After all, our
situation was very complicated, not to say precarious. It was better to hide our relationship first and
focus on defeating the Blood Hound Pack.
But before I could enter the hall, I heard a loud bang coming from the inside. My body froze as I
witnessed what was happening.
Caleb, who was just unconscious, suddenly moved and attacked Arthur, catching him in surprise. My
eyes widened as I looked at the blood dripping down Arthur's left arm. If he was not pulled by his
companion on time, his wound would have been fatal.
"Ow..." Arthur flinched as he got into a defensive position with his companion. "B*st*rds. Where the
hell did you bring our alpha?" Caleb hissed at him, the murderous look in his eyes was evident.
Instead of answering him, Arthur asked absentmindedly, "Hey why are you up already? The dosage I
gave you was especially strong..." Before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by Caleb
who started attacking him.
"W-wait a minute! Don't attack!" Arthur hurriedly said. Unfortunately for him, Caleb was not willing
to listen and continued attacking him.
It was Blake who knocked him unconscious before. Now that Blake was not in the picture, Caleb was
powerful enough to contend with Arthur and his companion. No, in fact, he was overpowering
them.
Arthue knew this and thus he raised his hands high and shouted, "Stop attacking! We are not your
enemies... Really! Ah d*mn it... Chloe is fine, I swear!" He added while dodging Caleb's attack.
"Not your enemies but you have attacked us? And how dare you use Chloe's name!" Caleb growled.
Blake started watching the fight with interest. "You got a capable subordinate there, Chloe," he said
with a strange tone.
"Caleb is my beta and my right hand man. Even though he isn't originally born from the Red Moon
Pack, I have no doubt about his loyalty towards me,â I told him
"...oh?" Blake replied. He seemed like he wanted to say more but held back in the end. Instead, he
added, "It seems like Arthur and Idris need stricter training.â
"Well... Don't we all?" For some reason, I started to feel awkward. Thus, I took a step forward while
saying, "Well let's go inside before one of them gets murdered..."
But before I could enter the hall, I felt Blake's hand on my wrist, pulling me closer to him. The next
second, I felt myself being enveloped inside his arms. Blake leaned his head forward until I could
feel his hot breath in my ear.
"I said this earlier but I will say it again. I agree that we must finish our packsâ collaboration first. But
tonight, you must come with me. The two of us... have a lot of things we must talk about,â he
muttered in my ear.
I felt my body tremble from his touch, my heart beating loudly in my chest. In the end, the only
thing I could do was to give him a nod in reply. Only then did Blake let me go
Suddenly, I heard a loud bang from the hall followed by a gasp of pain. My eyes widened as I
hurriedly entered inside, only to see the man named Idris and Caleb about to attack each other.
Both of them were brimming with killing intent.
Blake and I moved right away. I ran towards Caleb, blocking his path while Blake moved towards
Idris to hold his arm, preventing him from attacking.
"Stop!" I said with a loud and powerful voice as everyone except Blake, looked at me with surprise.
