Blake

"How do we achieve that Blake?" As Chloe uttered these words, I saw a fire of determination in her

eyes.

Looking at her full of drive, I was always mesmerized and captivated. Chloe never failed to enchant

me everytime she showed her determination and confidence.

Whether she dresses in a long evening silky gown or her ragged training clothes...

Whether she wakes up with messy hair or goes out with her hair done...

In my eyes, the mere sight of her bright and resolute eyes seduces me so much that I wanted to

hide her from the rest of the world.

Standing there, I felt like time went still as I was enthralled by her excitement towards the training.

“Blake?” She called my name once more, only then did I snap back from my senses and replied, “We

will not do rigorous physical training for tonight... However, our first training routine is not easy

either.”

“I'm ready anytime!” Her expression did not even have a hint of disappointment but instead looked

at me in all seriousness.

Seeing that, I went back to focus on our training, “Your training will be to shift to human and wolf

form back and forth... This way you and Aurora will become acquainted with each other's aura and

will.”

“Aura and will? Isn't it a common knowledge that human and wolf's aura and will were one and the

same?” As it was the first time Chloe was hearing about my words, she looked at me with a

confused look as she asked.

"While it's true that we are one with our respective wolves, our wills may not be the same. Once

there was a moment when the wolf and human wills were totally out of sync, their auras will clash

and it will cause an inner fight on who will be in control.

Think of the body as a home vessel which was owned by you and aurora. While it is only one home,

there are two owners of the body - us, and our respective wolves.

As such we cannot kick out one or the other because we cannot renounce the ownership one had to

the vessel. However, when it comes to who controls who... it's a different matter.

When we are in our normal human forms, our wolf's will usually submit to us.

But when we shift, while our wolf form still generally follows our will, the wolf's instincts would be

much more dominant.

Just like our natural tendency to become more engrossed in a battle when we have a prey to chase,

our instincts kicks in.”

“But... if our human will was still the one that could be followed during the shift form, then wouldn't

it be unfair for our wolves that they have less influence on our body?” Chloe asked. She was looking

so adorable when she furrowed her brows and thought things through in all seriousness.

"Well, that's not true...” I said with a smile on my face.

Surprised by my answer, Chloe's ears perked up. Her actions right now were something I have never

seen before, yet it amazes me everytime she shows a new side of herself.

"Remember, the way we lived was different from humans. As werewolves, we follow the wolves" will

to be one with our destined mates and live with our own packs. Things that made us different from

humans were the very influence our wolves take in control.

With this we can establish that our wolf and human side had its own will and preference... And while

it is rare, there will be situations that our wills have to clash with each other, causing an internal

turmoil.

The great example for this one is when one is banished from the pack, therefore becoming a rogue.

Because the will of our wolf, which is to live in a pack, was broken, there is a conflict in our nature.

While our human side could live just fine alone, our wolves could not...

That's the reason why rouges lose rationality when they stray far away from their packs. Over time,

their human sides would weaken and they would start to act no different than the wolves in the

woods.”

The more Chloe heard this, the more her eyes brightened, “I see... Now I understand! Although

Aurora was extremely weak back then, I also felt that pain and turmoil when I was banished from

the pack in the past... What you said indeed makes sense...”

"Good... now for starters, we could only try shifting back and forth a couple of times... Our goal is to

do the shift and re shift as fast as we can until your physical limit is reached. Would that

arrangement be fine with you?” I asked.

"Yes... we can start anytime!” With that, Chloe stood up and prepared herself to shift.

Looking at her excited to shift in her wolf form, I started to panic, “Wait!”

"Huh?" Startled by my exclamation she looked at me with a questioning gaze.

Seeing her innocent look, I started to feel hot all over my face as I tried to look away. I was afraid

that there would be something unpleasant that would be exposed in my thoughts and actions the

moment her inquisitive eyes landed on me.

"Erm..." Clearing my throat, I stepped back for a moment and took the bag I bought with me when I

came.

From it, I took a gigantic cloak made with silk. I have this made by the members of the Silver pack

that is stationed in the decoy Frost Fang Pack territory when I saw Aurora's wolf.

“This is...” Taking the silk cloak, Chloe looked surprised as she felt the fabric with her hands, “So

warm...” She muttered.

“You should wear this... it will protect you from the cold of the night as you shift back and forth...

Don't worry about Aurora's size... I made sure for it to be made exactly with her measurements.” I

hastily explained as I tried not to mention one thing.

That was the matter of her nakedness whenever she would shift back to her human form!
