Chapter 175

Fated For Lycan's Luna

Chloe

“Tsk tsk! Look at them!” Arthur, who blended with us in the Red Moon Pack looked at the retreating

backs of the elders as they frantically fled at sight.

His eyes looked at them in disdain as he realized how cowardly these so-called elders looked.

“Let's continue the act until we are given the signal.” Looking around, there were still many things to

do before wrapping up the show that we did.

Arthur and Vanessa followed as instructed, not leaving all the core members of the Dark Wood Pack

alive.

As for the young ones and those who were did not take part of Alpha Kain's scheme, both packs

agreed to spare them and keep them for their future.

Unlike Alpha Kain's forces who totally wipe out all who resisted their reign, Blake and I have no

plans to kill the innocent.

“They're gone..." Blake “charged’ at me with a dagger as he transmitted his message.

“Good work, leave us here to wrap up. I know you still had to go back to the Blood Hound Pack to

report.” I replied, seeing that everything went according to plan.

"Alright... I'll leave once I take all the “evidence’ we planted.” Blake let out a subtle smile, the voice

transmitted to the mindlink was warm.

“Take care, call me if there is anything unusual with Alpha Kain's behavior...” I said while I felt the

heat on my back, not because of the fire but because of Blake's presence.

"Hmmm..." Giving a nod of understanding, Blake casted one last glance on me and Arthur before he

disappeared in the darkness.

"Alright, let's start wrapping up.” When I could no longer sense his presence, I clapped my hands

and took the attention of everyone.

As soon as I said this, those who “died’ in the battle from both the Frost Fang Pack and the Red

Moon Pack stood up.

They wiped the fake blood on their lips without any expression. Their eyes did not even look like

they suffered from the grueling defeat that caused them to “die’ earlier.

“Let's clear this up and take the survivors out. For sure, Alpha Kain's men will go here to check

everything, so we must finish this before dawn comes.”

“Yes, Alpha Chloe!” The rest replied obediently and nimbly moved to follow the orders.

With the cooperation between the members of the Frost Fang Pack and the Red Moon Pack

growing steadily, the task of cleaning up and transporting the survivors were done within two hours.

After making sure that the Dark Wood Pack territory had no more survivors left, I stood in the

middle and completely burned the place, including the traitors who sold themselves to Alpha Kain

and forced their own people to submit to his tyranny.

The members of the pack, led by Vanessa had already started to travel to the designated place

where we would cater to the survivors of the packs we will eliminate moving forward.

To ensure that this will not jeopardize both packs, we set another place for them to be in.

“Blake might not come back until a week, what is your plan at this point Chloe?” Arthur who stayed

behind asked me as we both watched the Dark Moon's pack house being engulfed in the flames.

“I plan to continue training, so is the pack. Even if the members of the Frost Fang Pack were already

busy, we cannot fall behind. In no time, both of us will stop doing this act and fight the enemy head

on, so we need to be ready for that.” I answered.

“Very well... I might as well dive into your medical archives and learn more about your

poison!”Arthur flashed his usual mad doctor eyes, as if he had already preyed on being the

permanent resident of the clinic.

Knowing that, I only shook my head and chuckled, “Go ahead... Moreover, Esha seemed to have

taken a liking at you as well. You can adopt her so that she will pester me everytime.”

“Hahaha!” Arthur let out a laugh before following me as we exited the territory.

"Oh, by the way, this area is quite near the Silver Pack... Chloe... perhaps you want to drop by and

see Carrie... and also Arlan, our son.” While we were heading out of the territory, Arthur suddenly

paused and very carefully proposed the idea.

“The Silver pack?” I muttered while my body froze and paused momentarily.

But the next second, I realized that I have already started to take a step forward, with trying things

out together with Blake, seeing Carrie and also their son, Arlan should not be a problem for me

anymore.

The only thing that made me feel anxious was my last memory of the Silver Pack.

It was still a part of me that I could not confront freely, and so I am not sure if I could withstand the

pain of having those memories resurface again.

"Don’t worry, Carrie and mine's place was located quite far from the pack house.” Seemingly

understanding my concern, Arthur flashed an assuring smile and explained,

“Because of the heightened need to increase everyone's battle prowess, the pack house had

become a center for training our warriors and it was not conducive for Carrie and I to nurture our

children there..."

“So you can come and go visit Carrie and Arlan without the entire pack noticing you...”

Hearing Arthur's words, I closed my eyes and decided, “Alright, it's been a while since I saw Carrie as

well.”

With that we both took a detour and went to ARthur and Carrie's place within the Silver Pack

territory. While Arthur said that the territory was quite near to our current location, it still proved

that Silver Pack is a seclusive pack as it was already the first light of dawn when we arrived at their

place.

Arthur led me to a small bungalow surrounded by flowers and a picket fence. As he said, the area

where their house stood is quite far from the pack house as it was completely peaceful and serene

surrounded by the deep woods.

Upon seeing their house, I could not help but let out a light chuckle, “It is really Carrie's dream

house!”

Hearing my words, Arthur's eyes flashed a hint of surprise as he muttered, “You know about it too?

Carrie did a lot of work to design the house and its surroundings, even the color of the flowers in

our front yard were planned by her!"

He proudly said these words as if he was reliving the time when the two of them started as a couple.

“That's Carrie for you!” I muttered.

The next moment, the door opened without us even knocking at the door.

"Oh, it seems like they were awake!” Arthur might not have noticed but the speed of his approach

toward the house was so fast that it was as if he teleported right in front of the door.

There, I saw Carrie exuding a beautiful and elegant motherly aura

And in her arms, a lovely little child who was still blinking with sleepy eyes, Arlan.
