Chapter 182
Fated For Lycan's Luna
Chloe
Hearing Arlanâs adorable voice, the two of us paused and looked at each other. In the end we could
no longer hold our laughter back as we let out soft chuckles while in each other's embrace.
âI'm awake! Wait for me in your parent's place...â Blake did not forget to answer Arlan, afraid that
the young child will have to knock so hard on the giant door.
âUhmmm... Owkayy!!!" Behind the door, I could already imagine his cute round face innocently
staring at the door while he blinked his bright dark eyes. His tone was full of excitement and
anticipation even as he obediently answered and retreated back to their house.
âIsn't their house quite far from here?â I asked, feeling a little bit worried for Arlan who is just barely
four years old.
âHe's tougher than you think... besides, the entire Silver Pack is his playground now...â The seductive
look on Blake's face was now completely gone as it was replaced with a loving gentle look.
Seeing how affectionate he was towards Arlan, his nephew, I could not help but think if this is how
we would look if our son survived.
Blake seemed to have figured out the change in my emotions as he collapsed back to bed and
wrapped me in his embrace.
While we have just realized that it was already high in the noon, Blake's cuddles felt like it is still
perfect in this time of the day.
Blake leaned over and gently planted a kiss on my forehead while he said, âI had him wait for him in
Arthur's place because I know you do not intend for the rest of the Silver Pack to see you yet.â
Hearing his words, my eyes widened in surprise but I immediately smiled as I realized how far ahead
he had thought of me ever since he knew I was here.
Reciprocating his hugs and kisses, I muttered, âThank you...â
Two of us stayed like that for a few minutes until we decided to get dressed. I no longer need to
worry about my spare clothes as Blake even kept my belongings in a good condition.
The more I pause to appreciate these things, the more I realize how much Blake clung to whatever
traces of me has been left into this place.
Every corner I changed was left as it is, and every belonging I had was cleaned and kept at the top
condition
I looked at Blake who was calmly sitting beside the window as he looked at the scene outside. Back
then, the outdoors were already filled with the bustle of the members of the Silver Pack, but now...
apart from a few who were left to protect the territory, there were not much people roaming around
the territory.
Years have passed, Blake and I managed to survive and thrive what is left of our respective packs,
however, the devastation of Alpha Kain and Lyraâs schemes were so evident in the solace of the
once mighty Silver Pack.
Hand in hand, we flew toward Arthur and Carrie's house before anyone could notice our presence.
There, Arlan was already excitedly waiting for us as the couple busied themselves for lunch.
For us adults on the table, there was a tense mood because of Lyra's betrayal, however, with Arlan
being the light and joy of the house, he was able to dispel the gloominess we felt and change the
atmosphere of the dining table.
Arlan was extremely adorable, and it was almost like watching a young Blake as he lightened up the
house. I could see Carrie and Arthur's blissful faces as they watched their kid cheerfully eat.
Even more so, I could see Blake gently smile and patiently interact with Arlan even though he was
known to be a frigid and stoic person outside.
Watching them interact, my heart is also full. It seems like the moon goddess was telling me right
now that there will always be light despite the things that happened in the past...
And...
To protect what is left of the precious things that I have.
The Red Moon Pack, the Silver Pack, Carrie, Arthur, Arlan, and Blake.
For their sake, and for my son's justice... I have to fight against those who are threatening the peace
that I am enjoying at the moment.
No matter how it takes, I'll see to it that I will stop them with all my might, and put an end to their
tyranny and greed.
Arthur, Blake and I did not stay in the pack for too long.
With Arlan around, we were also not able to tell Carrie a lot about what we thought about Lyra
being the traitor.
She expressed her desire to join the fight as she too held a deep grudge at the one who made that
attack in the past.
However, all three of us unanimously objected. She had to be the one to stay in the Silver Pack, for
Arlanâs sake and for the pack.
Because if anything happens, it will be her who will take over the pack and preserve them.
And so, the three of us bade our goodbye to Carrie and Arlan, promising to do our best to come
back as soon as we can.
When I was about to move, I felt a presence from afar which made me suddenly halt. Turning from
the direction of the presence, I let out a smile and bowed, âTeacher Astor... we'll be back...â I
whispered in the wind.
There was no answer from the other side, but from where I stood, I could feel Teacher Astor's warm
aura as if saying that I have to take care.
Three of us went back to our alliance base and immediately held a meeting. Not mentioning the
fact that Lyra was the traitor, we discussed our next steps accordingly.
âWith the first stage of the plan already complete, we can move to the next phase...â facing the core
members of the alliance, Blake stood up and announced.
On the outside, it seemed like nothing has changed with the plans and we continued to what has
been agreed before.
However there were some things that changed because of Lyra's involvement.
The very first thing was that our desire to destroy the empire that the Blood hound pack
painstakingly built with so much blood shed had intensified by a hundred folds!
