Chapter 195

Fated For Lycan's Luna

Blake

Caleb noticed the person a second too late, and so despite his preparation the angle where the

opponent is coming from will surely deal a great amount of damage to him.

My face darkened as I realized this, without thinking further I used Eron’'s power to rush in the

attacker's position to impede his attack.

Boom!!

As I brandished my fist to meet the large body of the opponent and the impact caused a sudden

gust of the wind throwing off everyone in the battlefield.

"Alpha..." Caleb realized what had happened when the pain he was anticipating did not land on his

body.

He looked at me wide eyed as he did not expect me to intercept the attacker's movement while

coming from a distance.

“Don’t mind me... rally the troops and handle the rest! I'll take this one!” I instructed.

Surprisingly and for the first time, I saw no trace of resistance and stiffness on Caleb's face as he

nodded and obeyed my command.

Welcoming the new development, I was relieved to take this position as I know that someone will

take over the post I have left.

“So you are the leader of this troop? I thought that the acting leader of the remnants of the Red

Moon Pack was Alpha Dean's wolfless daughter...” Suddenly from the shadows, emerged an even

huge dark figure, accompanied by the cracking sounds of the trees in his path.

As he approached the battlefield, he released a powerful subduing aura that made our men groan

in pain. “I guess... We cannot really trust rumors... after all we only have a few speculations about

the attacks made by this Red Moon pack...”

I looked at him and finally saw the Rain Valley's Alpha.

Indeed, as tall as a bear, his countenance towered in all the people around, including his warriors.

His eyes were cold and ruthless as he gazed straight into me like he was piercing my soul.

I stood there wordlessly, while releasing a bit of my aura to protect my men against the oppressing

aura coming from the Rain Valley's Alpha

As soon as I did this, his eyes flickered in amusement, “I see... no wonder your actions have been

bowled ever since... You kept on provoking Alpha Kain. But too bad... I don't think that you can

stand up against him at all...”

“That is why, I will not gamble anything and underestimate you. I'll kill you by using all my powers

and stop you and your pack from your delusion... that you can stand against the true Alpha King,

Kain!” As he was saying that, he was slowly transforming into his full wolf form.

His wolf form was even bigger than his human form. His body was almost as tall as a three-storey

house with his claws digging in the muddy ground as deep as several feet.

"Arrr Oooooo!!" After transforming, he let out a loud growl which seemed to affect his warriors.

Instantly, they responded by also howling, with those who are still in human form, transforming

while those who had already transformed visibly exhibiting signs of sudden strength

This is the true power of the Rain Valley Pack! And this will not be good for our men at all!

“No wonder, they said that the Rain Valley is mysterious, it turns out that you hold a strength like

this.”

“But too bad, I'll show you that we weren't deluded and that we have strength. It was just a shame

that we have to end up like this... we could have been good allies.” I uttered.

“Allies? I once prayed for someone to ask me that one so that I won't have to let our pack submit to

such a cruel King. But now... it's too late... our hands have already been bathed with blood we do

not want to take.”

“Besides... You have not shown me anything to make me feel otherwise.”

When I heard these words, I suddenly thought that it was a shame. Such a strong Alpha, gifted with

a rare power to enhance his entire pack to become stronger. For him and his pack to end up like

this in our hands was a great loss for the werekind. Especially when going up against Alpha Kain.

“Then... I would let you see...” I said.

"Alpha... you are planning to...” Caleb and Idris immediately sent a mind link as they realized where

the conversation was going.

"Just defend yourself... nothing is still certain. Our men’s survival takes priority.” I answered.

The Rain Valley Pack looked at me while his fangs brandished ferociously. In the end he said a word

which rang throughout the entire battlefield, “Then let's decide who is right... you against me once

and for all.”

“Got you!" I said inwardly.

Observing from his demeanor and the way he operated, I knew he was someone who'd like to

decide according to someone's strength. In the end, he agreed for a duel.

“Then... let's go.” I answered.

Instantly the battlefield was cleared and each of the opposing sides retreated, waiting for the

outcome of the battle.

“Not shifting I see... you are arrogant, just like Alpha Kain.” He said as he commenced his attack.

In a blink of an eye, his gigantic wolf body disappeared in front of me like a bubble and over my

head a large shadow covered me, his fangs bared open as he tried to take my head out with a bite.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

I spared no effort to block and counter his attack. With the experience I learned from my last fight

and the growing power in me from having to reconnect with Chloe, Eron and I felt at ease with

dealing with heavy blows from a much bigger target.

The rain continued to fall ceaselessly, and the terrain became much more unstable because of the

mud. Even so for such a big wolf like him, it wasn't a problem.

“I see you are strong as you have claimed... but that is not enough to make me change my mind.”

the Alpha said as he intensified his attacks.

Every blow that he took caused tremors on the ground, so much so that it echoed in the valleys and

a landslide might happen.

I knew that it would be hard to convince him, however, for him to be convinced or not with my

fighting is no longer my priority.

While 1 admit to have gambled for this situation to happen, it was still ultimately because I wanted

to minimize the damage the enhanced strength of his army would cause our party.

As long as I defeat him, whether they agree to become our allies or not, it will be easier for our side

to deal with them later! For we no longer have to worry about the enhanced power their Alpha

could give.
