Author's POV

"We have reached," said Rishi pulling Abhi out of trance. Abhi got down the car and started running inside like a maniac.

He went to reception panting followed by Anish and Rishi.

"Mrs Sitaara Abhimanyu Chowdary," said Abhi. The receptionist nodded and checked in the computer and shook her head in no.

"There is no patient with that name sir. Sorry" said the reception.

"Mrs Sitaara Dev Abhimanyu," said Abhi impatiently. The receptionist nodded again and checked in the computer.

"No! There is no patient with that name too," said the receptionist.

"Damn!! Rishi call Adhira to ask which floor we have to go" said Abhi.

"Am trying, Abhi. Her phone is switched off and others aren't lifting the calls" said Rishi loosening his tie. Tears filled Abhi's eyes. Suddenly something strike in his mind, he turned to the receptionist again.

"Miss Sitaara Dev Shetty," said Abhi. The receptionist nodded and checked in the computer. She smiled at him.

"Yes! The patient is here. 7th floor VIP ward, Sir" said the receptionist. He nodded grinning and walked to the elevator and got into it.

"Her name is given as Sitaara Dev Shetty!" Exclaimed Abhi sadly with a humourless chuckle. Anish and Rishi patted his back.

Once the elevator's door opened, he ran outside. He started searching for Sitaara's family. There he saw all her family members. Sid and Ved are talking on phones looking tense. Aarya, Arjun, Vikram and Riaan were also there talking on phones. Sitaara's mom, aunts, sister's and Vikranth and Riddhanth was crying.

He gulped the lump formed in his throat looking at them and looking at Anish and Rishi. They gave an assuring look at him blinking their eyes.

"Sid" he called in a trembling voice. Sid turned to him and his confused expressions turned into angry.

"Who the fuck called you here, bastard? Why the hell did you come here? To see her on death bed?" Shouted Ved.

"Ved... please... don't say that. I.. love your.. siste.r" cried Abhi.

"Ved mind your tongue. He is your bil. Your sister's husband and he has the right to know about his wife" shouted Rishi.

"Yes, the same wife he tagged with a cheater. Isn't it?" Asked Vikranth standing up.

"Because they didn't divorce yet, just because they are still called as husband and wife lawfully, we are stopping ourselves from kicking his ass. Ask him to go away" shouted Riddhanth.

"What happened to Sitaara?" Asked Abhi ignoring everything.

"She is 5 weeks pregnant," said Riaan and Vikram. Abhi froze. His expression turned into a happy one and his lips broke into a huge grin.

"Huh..ah.. Rishi...er.. Anish...huh. y..you hea..rd that? Sitaara is pre.gn..ant. Am gonna bec.om.e fat.her" said Abhi with overwhelming feelings. Rishi and Anish hugged him.

"Welcome to father zone, Abhi. Congratulations, to-be-father" said Anish and Rishi together smiling.

"Are you sure, you are the father of the baby Abhi anna?" Asked Arjun. Abhi looked at him in rage.

"What-"

"His question is genuine, Abhi Bava(bil). You sure you are the father? I mean you accused my sister that she was cheating on you behind your back with her boyfriend who is dead nearly 3 years ago" said Sid mockingly cutting off Abhi's yell.

"Hold your tongue, Sid and Arjun. I will kill you-"

"Abhi anna calm down. That's not the issue here. She fainted while climbing steps and rolled from top to bottom. Thankfully the baby is fine and it's really a miracle to survive even after falling from top to bottom rolling on the stomach, that too in 1st trimester. But the problem is her head has an injury which bleeds a lot and now both Sitaara and Baby are in danger due to loss of so much blood as it's not her first injury in the head" said Riaan.

Abhi fell on his knees crying. Anish and Rishi knelt before him hugging.

"My wife and my baby, Rishi. Save them. I cannot live without Sitaara. Please save them, Anish" he sobbed loudly.

"Contact blood banks, Riaan. What's there to think?" Shouted Anish.

"Hers is O negative which is rare. Only Dev uncle has the same blood group but uncle takes insulin so doctors rejected him. Kyathi Akka is also O negative but she is pregnant. Currently, blood banks are lacking O Negative blood and we are trying to call other blood banks" said Vikram. Abhi stood up clumsily.

"Mine is also O negative. I will donate blood. I will save my wife and baby" shouted Abhi and ran to the doctor like a mad man. After running a few tests, doctors accepted his blood.

He laid beside Sitaara on another bed as blood was passing from his body to hers. He smiled looking at her belly. Rishi and Anish came inside smiling at their friend who is grinning like an idiot. Abhi looked at them.

"My baby! My baby is growing there, in her mom's belly. Look, my baby is growing there" he cried pointing at Sitaara's belly with his free hand.

Anish and Rishi smiled at him understanding why he is getting more emotional.

"My family, my own family" he whispered sniffing.

"Yes, your family. Your own family, asshole" said Rishi and Anish chuckling. Abhi too chuckled.

"I have to say this to Samhith, Prerna aunty and Vaibhav uncle. I have to say to them" he said.

"After getting done with donating blood, tell them," said Anish holding his hand. Abhi nodded smiling.

Outside the ward,

Sakshi and Aman reached the hospital followed by other Chowdary's. Looking at them, Sid and Ved went inside when they heard Sitaara calling them, also they couldn't tolerate the sight of Sakshi slapping their sister.

"Dev, my daughter in law?" Aman tried to gasp air. Dev looked at him with tears.

"You were silent all the while when they accused my daughter. Now, why do you care, Aman? I agree, my daughter loved a man before marriage but she was loyal to your son, didn't she? If you remember, you were the one who came with the alliance, if you remember before we decided to get Sisira married to Abhi, we personally talked about giving Sitaara's hand to Abhi initially, didn't you have a background check before bringing the alliance?" Dev released the pain he buried since Sitaara was thrown out of her in-law's house.

"Am...am sorry, Dev. For everything. Please don't mind it. How is my daughter?" Asked Aman. Dev looked away wiping his tears.

"She fell from stairs and had a head injury. Abhi donated blood for her and she is unconscious for 5 hours. She is pregnant with your son's child" Dev said stressing your son's child not looking at him. Sakshi and Anjali gasped while Aman and Suman stood rooted. Dhruv, Naman, Aastha and Disha squealed in happiness hugging each other.

"Oh my god, am gonna become uncle" Dhruv and Naman jumped hugging each other.

"I will get something for Vadhina (sil)" saying this Naman ran away grinning like a fool.

Sakshi walked to Mridula and sat beside her holding her hand.

"Mridula" she whispered as she was looking at her lap. Mridula looked away sniffing.

"Am sorry, Mridula" she whispered as tears found their way.

"You don't need to be sorry, Sakshi. It was my mistake I forced her to get married to your son. I should be sorry to my daughter" Mridula spitted words harshly at Sakshi remembering fingerprints on Sitaara's cheeks when Dev brought her home.

"Mridula, please don't say that. I love Sitaara as my I love my kids, maybe more than my own kids. I didn't slap her intentionally. I could never do that, Mridula" Sakshi cried.

"For the past one month, my daughter had her for food only once in a day, that too when her father forced her. She stepped out of the room only 5 times in 1 month. There wasn't a single minute she didn't shed tears for your son, her husband. I never dreamt to see my daughter like that. She was like a soul sucked out of her body and looked like a corpse. Since she is born, she never tried to lose her smile even during her hard times but just because of your son, she became a person void of emotions. You people killed my daughter alive with your accusations. You people made her rot in pain with your distance. And today, you guys claim her as your daughter in law?" Mridula raised her voice a little wiping her tears harshly with the back of her palm. She didn't want to shout at Sakshi but the mother in her who witnessed the pain of her daughter couldn't hold her back.

"Peddha mommy calm down. Don't cry. You need to be strong for Situ akka" Vikrant whispered side hugging Mridula. She turned to him and cried in his embrace.

"We were blackmailed" Sakshi announced making everyone whip their heads to her.

"We were blackmailed to send Sitaara away from Chowdary's or else her dignity will be ruined. Abhi tried his best to take everything under his control but he was blocked from every end and other than sending away Sitaara we didn't have any choice. So we needed to put up that act" Sakshi said.

Another side,

"Kill that Abhimanyu! I hate that bastard. He married her, fell in love with her, made her fall in love with him, slept with her and today he became the father of Sitaara's baby" shouted the man.

"And...pay that doctor in fortunes and make sure Sitaara has a miscarriage. I don't want that Abhimanyu's bastard child in my Sitaara's womb. Kill both father and baby" shouted the same man.

"Ok..a.y sir," said his P.A.

Sitaara's ward,

After Abhi gave blood to Sitaara, he sat beside her looking at her.

"Hey! Sweetheart thank you, baby. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift. I promise I will protect you both with my everything-"

"Only to break it again Mani? Huh?" Asked Sitaara opening her eyes.

"Sitaara-"

"No, don't call me that. You lost the right when you kicked me out of your house" she said as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Love-"

"Please, no endearments. You don't love me, remember? You, yourself told that" said Sitaara.

"Baby, and please-"

"Vellipo, Mani please" she cried.

(Translation:- Go away)

"I won't. From, now I will be with you and..." he kissed her belly "....our baby. Forever together"

"Please, I don't want to break my heart again. Now, I have a baby too. I can't take that risk, Mani" said Sitaara looking away.

"I love-"

"Sid anna, Ved anna" she screamed cutting off him.

"Sitaara, please, listen, sweetheart, I had-"

"What is it, Situ?" Asked Sid and Ved in unison coming inside.

"Ask him to go away. I don't want him near me and my baby. Please take him away" she cried.

"Baby, I love you. Please don't say that sweetheart" he cried.

"Leave! Leave! Leave!" She shouted.

"Sitaara, don't drag that topic on more. I had my own reasons to do that. I truly love you" shouted Abhi.

"Questioning my character is easy for you? If Arjun asked the same to Aarya would you say not to drag the topic? I begged you to stop me, Mani. I told you if not then, it won't be ever. Even while going you stood there like a rock. I wasn't hurt when you doubted me but I was when you let me go saying that you broke the promise. Just after 3 and half months we got married and after only 10 days we expressed our love for each other, you doubted my character, kicked me out of your home, from your life, how can I let you come near me? How can I trust you again? Let a person come near me who questioned my character even after I begged to believe me? I was hurt then, what if you do the same with my baby again? I can't take that risk, Mani. I know you were always emotionless and don't care about anyone's feelings but now that 'anyone' is my baby. I won't let my baby grow up with a man who doesn't trust his/her mother and later even questioned my baby's birth" shouted Sitaara.

"Sweetheart that was to prote-"

"If you don't go away I will vanish from this planet along with the baby in me" she shouted.

He looked at her with tears. He leaned to her and was about to peck her lips, she turned her face away. He smiled and kissed her temples.

"Daddy loves you baby" Abhi whispered to her belly and kissed it.

"Am not leaving Sitaara. I will come back again. For you. For our baby. Once mine, will be mine forever" Said Abhi coldly but tears were flowing down his eyes and left from there.

"What is it, Situ? Now, don't drag your baby in this. She/he needs a father. You can't separate them" said Sid as he knew the pain of losing a baby.

"Am little angry on him, anna. Just I gave him a twist so that he doesn't do that again but the pain he caused for any kind of reasons is still hurting me and just that thought is killing me" said Sitaara.

"So, you are forgiving him?" Asked Ved.

"I love him, Anna, I can't be angry at him for more time. I can't lose another person again, anna. I just can't go through the same pain again. I don't want to lose Abhimanyu and ..." she placed her hand on her belly''...my baby''

Sid and Ved nodded with a smile though they are still angry at Abhi. If not baby was in Sitaara, they would never let Abhi come to their sister irrespective of the reasons he had. Not wanting to ruin a life with their anger and stubbornness, they convinced themselves to forgive Abhi. For their nephew/ niece.

"Sitaara" called Sakshi coming inside. Sitaara smiled at her while Sid and Ved fisted their fingers controlling their anger.

"Come, sit here," athamma(mil) said Sitaara normally as if nothing happened between them. Sitaara glared at her brothers who shook their in no. She opened her big doe eyes wide as if warning them not to say anything mean and ask her about her whereabouts as a sign of respect. They nodded reluctantly.

"How are you, aunty? Hope you are doing well! Though you believe it or not, the baby is your son-"

"Anna" warned Sitaara cutting off Ved who couldn't stop himself from taunting. They both don't know that it was all an act as when Sakshi announced what actually happened, they both were inside with sitaara as she called them earlier.

"Let him clear on this thing, Sitaara or else tomorrow they may accuse that the baby is from your dead boyfriend, Viraj," said Sid. Sakshi looked down with tears.

"Both of you get out" shouted Sitaara angrily.

"Situ-"

"No! Don't speak with me. This happened with us and you both don't have to taunt her, anna. Go now" said Sitaara blinking away her tears. They nodded and went away.

Sitaara and Sakshi fell silent. None of them was speaking anything. Sitaara was looking at the ceiling and Sakshi was looking down at the floor.

"Congratulations, athamma (mil). You are gonna become nanamma(paternal grandmother)" said Sitaara breaking the silence. Sakshi held her hand and kissed it.

"Am sorry, Sitaara. I didn't doubt you neither Abhi did. We can never doubt on you" said Sakshi. Sitaara nodded.

"Baby! Baby is fine, Situ. I personally spoke to doctor Kavitha, who happened to be my friend. She will be your gynaecologist. And...you should have to take care of yourself. Mridula told me how obstinate you were? Once you come back home and I will make you eat everything. How can you be so careless? What would happen if the cut was deep than it happened already? And about baby, Sitaara? Only god knows how your baby is fine! Like, it's true miracle. Many women undergo miscarriage at very little things and your baby is saved from such a horrible incident" said Sakshi.

Sitaara placed her hand on her belly smiling.

"Am I welcomed there?" She whispered with a sad smile.

"Sitaara, it's your home. I talked to your family regarding our behaviour that day. It was to protect you, please don't mind anything" said Sakshi. Sitaara nodded absentmindedly as she is exhausted to think anything.

"How do you feel knowing that you are pregnant?" Asked Sakshi.

"It is beautiful to know that there is a life growing inside me" she whispered as a tear rolled down her cheeks due to happiness. Sakshi smiled.

Abhi placed a flower bouquet on Samhith's grave and knelt before it.

"You listening samu? Am gonna become a father. I won over you again becoming a father before you. Seems like you lost your life to make me win again and again huh? Is it? Anyways congratulate me ra(dude/man) Samu" said Abhi smiling with tears.

"Areyy(dude/man), like you told am having a wife who makes me fall for her again and again in every second and now, a baby. I don't need anything more, Samu. I, my wife and our little daughter who is gonna enter this world completing my world" said Abhi crying.

Anish and Rishi smiled patting his back.

They spent some time there reminiscing their days with Samhith and walked out of the garden.

Abhi sat in his car and Anish and Rishi sat in Rishi's car. They started the car. Abhi was moving ahead of Rishis.

Anish was on call and Rishi was driving. Suddenly Rishi saw diesel leakage from Abhi's car.

"Ani, call Abhi and ask him to speed down the car. His breaks failed. Call him right now" shouted Rishi and increased his car speed. Anish looked at the leakage and his eyes widened. He immediately rang Abhi but he was talking to Anika about his happy news.

"His phone is getting engaged. Take over. Take over the car and give small bumps to make the engine stop" yelled Anish. Rishi nodded and changed the gears and tried to take over Abhi's car but Abhi was driving at high speed.

Tears filled in their eyes. Anish was ringing to him to Abhi and finally, he attended the call.

"Anish, I bought a few things for Sitaara and my baby as gift-"

"Your car breaks failed, Abhi. Don't increase the car speed. Rishi will take over and give small bumps to make it stop. Just stay strong. Don't pull out any stunts" said Anish.

Abhi tried to apply breaks and they didn't work. For the first time, he was much more scared and thanatophobia started showing its effect. His palms started sweating, he was panting and his vision is turning into blurred.

"Anish, I don't want to die. Sitaara and my baby. I want to live with them. Please, do something" shouted Abhi and instead of pressing his leg on break, he pressed his leg on the accelerator in anxiety.

"Anish" screamed Abhi.

"Abhi" screamed Anish and Rishi peeking their head out of the window.

"Take care of Sitaara and my baby, Anish. Say Sitaara that I love her" shouted Abhi as he saw a lorry coming towards him. He fished out of his wallet and looked at Sitaara's pic.

"Love you, sweetheart. Stay strong. Take care of our baby" he whispered with tears and...

*Crash*

His car flipped continuously thrice making Abhi hit his head inside the car many times and crushed very badly. All the gifts he brought for Sitaara and their baby fell out of the car getting scattered on the black road. A flow of blood slowly made its way out of the car.

"Abhi" Screamed Rishi and Anish ran to him and....

*Blast*

"Mani" screamed Sitaara at top of her lungs waking up. Dev, Mridula, Sid, Ved and others rushed inside and saw Sitaara panting, crying and shivering.

Another side

"We are not able to find his parents, sir. Seems like he understood your plans and hid his parents safely and he declared holidays to his employees for 10 day's" said the man on the phone.

The person on the other side fisted his fingers in anger.

"Kidnap Disha, take her away anywhere, rape her or do anything with her. I don't care. By this, he will shut his mouth as he doesn't want his newly found love tortured. If this plan is also failed, trust me you won't be seeing next morning" shouted the man and hung the call.
