113 Young Master III

Yang Ning, who was nibbling on her food, let out a sigh and shook her head when she couldn’t bear the excessive behavior of Yang Luoyang and Chang Ah. “Don’t you know that you shouldn’t speak while eating? It’s basic manners.” Yang Ning interrupted the conversation while looking at the little boy, however, her sharp words were referring to Yang Luoyang and Chang Ah.

They could feel the sarcasm in Yang Ning’s words which caused them to purse their lips in a thin line. She wasn’t saying it to Yang Jian but to them.

Yang Ning ignored the unhappy expressions of the two people who were staring at her with cold expressions on their faces. She kept her gaze on the little boy and pushed the glass of water toward him and said, ” Drink the water. Otherwise, you will choke on the food. ”

Yang Luoyang frowned to see Yang Ning interfering in their conversation. He wanted to say something to her but upon remembering that the door of the dining room was open and Yu Ling was standing outside, he decided to ignore Yang Ning’s attitude for now.

He will deal with her later when Yu Ling isn’t around. It is not the best place to talk to her.

When Yang Luoyang didn’t say anything to Yang Ning, Chang Ah had no other choice but to keep her mouth shut as well.

After handing the glass of water to Yang Jian, Yang Ning started eating her food as if nothing happened. However, the little boy was surprised by the way Yang Ning was treating him and taking his side.

He even played a prank on her by not letting her have her lunch in peace and snatched all the dishes in front of her. Yet she was taking his side in front of their parents.

It was the first time that she had acted like an elder sister to him and had taken his side in front of their parents. Otherwise, she has always been the submissive one and followed their father’s words blindly without using her mind.

How come she changed suddenly? Because it was the first time he was hearing her say something in front of their Father.

After Yang Ning’s interruption, Yang Luoyang and Chang Ah didn’t say anything to Yang Jian and continued eating to not ruin the joyous mood because of Yang Ning’s rude behavior.

While eating his food, Yang Jian keeps stealing glances at Yang Ning and wonders if she is the same girl who used to flinch whenever their father glances at her or speaks to her.

How come she is speaking in front of them without any fear now?

After the welcome feast of Yang Jian ended on an uneasy note, Yang Luoyang went to his study room to continue with his work.

Soon after he left, Yang Ning also excused herself and left the dining room, leaving only Yang Jian and Chang Ah behind. She has already stuffed her stomach with food, why would she stay in the dining room with Chang Ah and ruin her happy mood?

“What a brat! She is getting out of control day by day.” Chang Ah remarked as soon as Yang Ning stepped out of the dining room.

” Just because Yu Ling is on her side, she is doing whatever she wants these days. Urgh! I hate her.”

Yang Jian pursed his lips in awkwardness when his mother badmouthed Yang Ning. He looked towards the door from where Yang Ning just left and felt a strange sense of closeness with her.

Although he still doesn’t like her. Because his mother doesn’t like that girl. However, he could see that many things changed during the period he was not at the Yang Household.

His elder sister seems to be different now. What caused her to become like this? He wondered.

After Yang Jian was done eating the dessert that Chang Ah had specially asked the kitchen staff to prepare for him, he put down his spoon on the table and wiped his hands and mouth with a napkin.

Chang Ah was pleased to see her son acting responsibly and having the dining table etiquette while eating with the elders. “Do you want something else to eat as well, my dear? Should I ask the kitchen staff to send some fruits for you?” She asked while caressing his smooth and silky black hair.

Yang Jian is not only her son but also the reason why Yang Luoyang cherishes her so much. Because she gave birth to his successor, how can he not pamper her?

She has to make sure that Yang Jian outpasses Yang Ning in every single thing and proves his worth as the future Head of the Yang Family. This is the only way that she could maintain her superiority in the household.

Yang Jian shook his head at Chang Ah’s question and said, “Mother, How can I eat fruits? I am already full.” He said while pointing at his stomach which has gotten big from eating so much food.

” Mother, Can I go to my chamber first and rest for a while? After traveling for so long, I am feeling sleepy. I also need to study in the evening after taking a short nap. Can I go?” He asked while looking at her with his clear dewy eyes.

Chang Ah smiled at her son who thinks about studying all the time and her chest was filled with pride seeing him being so responsible, She nodded and said, ” Of course, my dear.”

” I have prepared your room to your liking. You can go to your room with Xing Bao and take a warm water bath before you go to bed. It will help you to relax your body and sleep comfortably.” She said while tapping on the table to call Xing Bao inside the dining room.

“Okay!” After getting his mother’s permission, the little boy’s face lit up, and followed Xing Bao to his chamber.

He cannot wait to go to his chamber and take a nap. It has been so long since he had slept on his bed.

“What crap is this? Why did you bring me to this storage room instead of taking me to my chamber?” Yang Jian was flustered when Xing Bao took him to Yang Ning’s previous chamber.

Although she has already changed the condition of the room by placing the soft and comfortable mattress and changing the lights to brighter ones to light up the dark room.

However, it’s still lacking in many ways compared to Yang Jian’s previous chamber which is being used by Yang Ning currently.

Xing Bao was surprised by Yang Jian’s blaring voice and the rude choice of words for a ten-year-old kid. She cleared her throat awkwardly and answered hesitantly, ” Young Master, for some time, this room will be your chamber.”

” Yang Ning is staying in your previous room which is near the front gate. That’s why you will be using her old chamber until the royal wedding.” Xing Bao said.

Since there were only two of them, she didn’t care to use formalities to address Yang Ning. Yang Jian doesn’t like her anyway. It doesn’t matter if she uses formalities to address her or not.

“What? Who is using my chamber? How can Father allow someone like her to use my chamber?” Yang Jian yelled in frustration.

It was his chamber. How can he allow someone else to use his chamber?

Xing Bao raised her brows to see the disappointment in Yang Jian’s eyes and added, ” What can he do? Since she is getting married into the royal family, Yang Ning has been acting haughtily these days.”

” She doesn’t fear anyone and forcefully took over your chamber. Even Madam couldn’t stop her from doing so.”

” She even humiliated Madam in front of all the servants and made her cry. How can anyone speak against her after that?” Xing Bao said while exaggerating and adding some fake instances to the story.

She peeked glances at Yang Jian and smirked meaningfully to see his scowling expression.

These days Yang Ning has been doing whatever she wants and no one says anything to her. Even the Lord doesn’t say anything to her and lets her do whatever she wants under the encouragement of Yu Ling.

She wanted to see from his dear son and useless daughter, who would Yang Luoyang choose.

Yang Jian looked around and felt disgusted by the look of the chamber. Unlike his chamber, it wasn’t spacious or decorated luxuriously. How can he stay in a poor-looking chamber like this one?

He pursed his lips and turned around to leave the chamber.

” Young Master, where are you going?” Xing Bao asked to see him leaving the chamber.

” To my old chamber. I am not going to stay in a garbage place like this one.” He said and walked out of the room.

Xing Bao was surprised to see the bold reaction of Yang Jian and smiled before following him out of the room.

He might be young but his temper is no joke. He only becomes obedient in front of Yang Luoyang and Chang Ah.

Except for them, everyone in the household has seen his rude and bratty attitude, including Yang Ning.

She was curious to see how Yang Ning would react when she was humiliated by a young boy, who is ten years younger than her.

It must be more humiliating than getting scolded by Yang Luoyang, right?
