Chapter 159 Titan and Midge

Nian Jiezhen couldn’t stop stealing a glance from Ren Shiyuan. She couldn’t get enough of his beauty, it was as if the more she looked at him, the more beautiful he became.

What’s more, she was amazed by how tall he was for a ’girl’. He was 6’1, the same height as Lu Yifeng!

Since Nian Jiezhen was taller than normal girls, to be exact: 5’11, she couldn’t help but admire Ren Shiyuan. As a tall girl, Nian Jiezhen would always be insecure of her height since most of the men would prefer someone smaller than them.

Even Nian Jiezhen’s parents had a hard time finding a man for her since they wanted him to be taller than her. Aside from that, they want him to come from a good family.

Since Nian Jiezhen didn’t look like she was interested in having a relationship, her parents were already planning to have an arranged marriage for her. They already started looking for an ideal man for her.

Nian Jiezhen didn’t care much about it since even if she’ll get married to someone she doesn’t know, she would busy herself with her work as a special agent. Settling down with a man and starting a family wasn’t her cup of tea and this made her decision firmer when she found out that Lu Yifeng was married.

Ren Shiyuan was busy flirting with Little Melon so he didn’t notice Nian Jiezhen’s stares. He was used to people staring at him so he wasn’t bothered if he was being stared at.

Nian Jiezhen couldn’t believe that Ren Shiyuan was not that famous in China. With his kind of beauty, he could easily overtake other famous faces! Well... the only reason she can think of is that maybe Ren Shiyuan was a newcomer or either he was bad in his work.

Wanting to know how famous he was, Nian Jiezhen took his phone out of her pocket and started searching for a model named ’Yunxi’.

The results that showed up was about the actress Han Yunxi. She was pretty but she couldn’t even be compared to Ren Shiyuan.

Is it possible that Ren Shiyuan was new in the industry? She couldn’t find anything about him... But even if he was new, there should be even a piece of tiny information about him, right? Was he lying about his name? Or was he lying about his work?

When Xia Meilin took a peek on what Nian Jiezhen was looking at, she smirked inwardly. If Nian Jiezhen wants to know about Ren Shiyuan, then she should type the right name in the search bar.

Xia Meilin’s plan was to distract Nian Jiezhen with Ren Shiyuan. If Nian Jiezhen falls in love with him, then Xia Meilin would have one less rival.

The best way to lessen a love rival is to find another person that will get their attention. Just by thinking of this, Xia Meilin couldn’t help but feel proud of herself. She has come up with such a wonderful plan against Nian Jiezhen!

Upon arriving in the mall, they went off the car and headed directly to the department store.

As they started shopping, the one who enjoyed shopping the most was Ren Shiyuan. Aside from that, his fashion sense was really exquisite. The clothes he picked for Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen would always be perfect for them. Just by seeing their body, he knew what kind of clothes they would look good at and what kind of clothes they would look bad at. He would always make their strong points stand out.

Xia Meilin already knew how good Ren Shiyuan can be when it comes in styling others so she trusted his judgments when he started choosing maternity clothes for her.

If Ren Shiyuan didn’t enter the entertainment industry as a model and actor, he would definitely become a fashion designer instead.

"No. Not the dresses." Nian Jiezhen wasn’t used in wearing dresses.

It’s not like she didn’t want it, it was because she thought that wearing dresses made her look bad.

In her earlier years, she was teased one time for wearing a dress and ever since that day, she decided to stop wearing one. She was taller than most girls and she wasn’t good in dressing up, she can’t even make herself look cute and adorable just like how other girls would do.

Simple shirts and pants; this was for her. She would always decline whenever someone suggested that she should try wearing a skirt. Although she has the curves in her body, the only curve she didn’t have was on her chest part since her chest was small that’s why she couldn’t help but be envious of

Xia Meilin and Ren Shiyuan since they were more feminine than her.

Since it was already winter and a cold wind was blowing outside, all of them were wearing thick clothes. Nian Jiezhen always had a thick winter coat on. If she was at home, she would wear a loose sweater on so her body figure wasn’t really seen that much.

Though Ren Shiyuan was different, because of his talent, he was able to tell what kind of clothes Nian Jiezhen would look good at.

"Come on, try it. It will look good on you, trust me~" He winked at her.

Nian Jiezhen lips stretched out into a straight line. She was hesitant about the dress he suggested but the way Ren Shiyuan smiled at her was too bright and convincing!

She ended up sighing in defeat. "Okay."

And so, Nian Jiezhen ended up going to the dressing room to try it. When she wore the dress, she had a hard time reaching out for the zipper that was behind her so she ended up asking for help.

Her head popped out from the side of the curtains. "Help me."

Xia Meilin couldn’t help but look at her in confusion. "Huh?"

"I can’t reach the zipper."

"Oh." Xia Meilin was about to stand when she suddenly thought of something. She turned to Ren Shiyuan and smiled. "You help her."

Ren Shiyuan blinked a few times with what she said. Did he hear it right? "Me?"

"She’s a titan, I don’t think I will be able to reach her back."

Nian Jiezhen’s face darkened with Xia Meilin’s words. "Oops, sorry for asking. I forgot that you’re actually a midget."

Xia Meilin instantly turned her head back to Nian Jiezhen and glared dangerously at her. She was 5’6! Her height was not small! "What did you just say?"

"Do you want me to spell it out for you? MID-"

"Momma, sister Jiezhen!" Little Melon interrupted them at once. "We’re all friends here, no fighting!"

Ren Shiyuan nodded in agreement. When he saw that the two women were still glaring at each other as if they were about to rip each other into pieces, he stood up and hurriedly went towards Nian Jiezhen. He knew how scary Xia Meilin was when she’s angry and he didn’t want that to happen. "I’ll help you, I’ll help you."

Ren Shiyuan took a glance at Little Melon and they both nodded at each other. Little Melon was in charge of calming his mother down while Ren Shiyuan will try to calm Nian Jiezhen.
