Chapter 232 - Ive always been a good girl

Even Lu Weichun was speechless with her sister’s words. She didn’t know what to say but when she received a knowing glance from her, an imaginary light bulb appeared. Her beloved sister was not a traitor after all!

"Right! Dad and gege said that we’re not allowed to date boys yet so what’s wrong in dating girls now?" Lu Weichun pouted, crossing her arms.

Xia Meilin turned to her husband with a glare, "Look! Look at what you’ve done!"

Since she came from a conservative family, it was only normal for Xia Meilin to disapprove of something like this.

On the other hand, Lu Yifeng and Lu Mello were shocked. They both thought that boys were the only ones that would become a problem but they never thought that girls can be more dangerous. They are more of a threat than boys.

The ancient Devil and the young devil looked at each other with a stiff look on their faces.

What should they do?

"They’re not so young anymore, Yifeng. Our daughters are old enough to date." Xia Meilin said, crossing her arms. "Look at what you’ve done. Now they’re interested in girls. Just let them see and date boys already."

At the mention of the words ’date’ and ’daughters’, Lu Yifeng’s face became dark.

"Ha.ha.ha. We’re just joking daddy. We’re not dating anyone, boys or girls. Right meimei1 ?" Lu Weichun quickly said as she turned to her sister.

"Yes. We were only kidding. I was only teasing jiejie earlier."

Lu Xingyan was known to be the sibling who liked to tease her older twin that was why hearing her words made the two boys sigh in relief.

Lu Weichun went and clung on her mother’s arm. "So daddy, please let us study in another school."

"You’re just being so overprotective of them, darling." Xia Meilin sighed. She felt sorry for her daughters.

"Xiao Chun, Xiao Xing, you don’t know how dangerous men are. They are all wolves in sheep’s clothing!" Lu Mello said, trying to convince them. Aside from hating the idea of his sisters dating others, he didn’t want them to end up with someone bad and getting hurt in the end.

"Then does that mean that dad and gege are wolves too?" Lu Xingyan asked, tilting her head to the side. This small gesture made her look more innocent.

Xia Meilin cleared her throat as she corrected, "They’re not wolves sweetie."

"Then that means not all boys are wolves." Lu Weichun huffed. She was envious of her friends since most of them were dating. She wanted to try to be in a relationship too, she wanted to fall in love and have a love story of her own. She was not a child anymore.

Her mother chuckled, "Depends. Your father is a big devil while your brother is... still growing horns."

Lu Mello pouted, "What do you mean by growing horns? I’m not a baby."

Lu Yifeng heaved out a heavy sigh as he said, "We just wanted what’s best for the both of you."

"Dad, I want to study in a different school." Lu Xingyan reached out and held her father’s hand. "My sister and I are going to graduate soon. Besides, I’m not interested in dating anyone so you don’t have to worry. Jiejie on the other hand, you can just negotiate with her. I want to try to live a normal life. Study in a place where no one knows our family."

Lu Weichun pouted, "What do you mean negotiate?"

In the current school they were studying, the Lu twins were treated like royals because of their family. Lu Weichun didn’t mind it, in fact, she enjoyed being spoiled. On the other hand, Lu Xingyan has a different view from her sister.

Lu Yifeng looked at his youngest daughter’s determined look. He trusted her words since he knew her well. Lu Xingyan was more responsible than her other twin.

"Darling, they can take care of themselves." Xia Meilin said, being the gentle mother she is, of course, she was going to side with her daughters. "They’re not babies."

Lu Yifeng sighed in defeat, "Alright."

Lu Weichun’s eyes sparkled in delight, "Really?! You’re going to allow us to study in a different school this time?!"

"I will allow Xing’er. You, on the other hand, I will have to think about it first." He replied, giving her a pat on her head.

"Thank you, dad!" Lu Xingyan hugged her father’s arm, she was smiling so happily because of it.

"Wait! It’s not fair!" Lu Weichun felt betrayed.

Lu Mello patted her head and chuckled, "If you start behaving yourself than maybe dad will allow you without thinking twice."

She pouted at her brother’s words. She turned and huffed at her quiet twin sister, "I don’t want to be like my poker-faced sister."

"I know how to smile." Lu Xingyan said with a blank look on her face, the smile she had earlier was now gone.

"It’s not fair! It’s not fair! Dad and gege are showing favoritism!" Lu Weichun complained. She turned and hugged her mother, "Mom, look at them siding with meimei. They’re spoiling her too much while they’re being strict to me! It’s not fair you know!"

Xia Meilin chuckled lightly, giving her daughter a pat, "You still have one month to change your dad’s mind."

"But I’ve always been a good girl!"

"Who makes problems." Lu Xingyan added.

"Now, now you two." Their mother heaved out a sigh. She turned to her husband, "Xiao Chun has also been obedient lately."

"But I can’t trust her when it comes to dating." Lu Yifeng said, crossing his arms.

"Daddy, you’re being mean to me!"

Xia Meilin leaned and whispered something to her husband, "Yifeng, you will only make her rebel more by being uptight with her."

"How about we do it this way?" Lu Mello turned to his sister, "As long as you promise not to date anyone while you are in the middle of your studies, then dad will allow you to transfer."

Lu Yifeng raised a brow, "Why are you deciding that for me?"

"I promise! I promise!" Lu Weichun hurriedly said as she hugged her father. "Please daddy? Please? Please? I promise." Not to get caught. She added inside her mind. She was looking at her father, acting all cute, using all her charms just to make him agree.

In the end, Lu Yifeng didn’t have a choice but to agree, "Alright."

"Yay! Yay! I love you, daddy! Thank you so much!"

"Now that everything is settled, here, have some snacks." Xia Meilin offered as she took the container that has sandwiches inside. Little/Baby sister
