Under the respectful eyes of others, Leon stood tall as he kept his trembling hand behind his back.

Still, Walter was slightly more powerful than him and though he barely managed to fend off Walter’s true energy with his spiritual energy, he took damage to his arm.

Naturally, compared to the state Walter was in, Leon’s injury was hardly severe.

“Walter Field, take this!”

Once his arm slightly recovered from the initial impact, Leon’s fist charged toward Walter yet again.

“H- Hold him off!!” Walter shouted in fear.

If he could not defeat Leon when he was at full strength, he would be helpless if he was attacked by Leon when he was injured.

Completely forgoing his pride as the leader of one of the Four Major Families, he rolled on the ground in an attempt to get away from Leon.

However, Leon was simply far too formidable and no matter how hard Walter tried, he could not escape Leon.

“Don’t you dare, brat!” Seeing how Walter stared death in the eye under Leon’s attack, Denzel gasped and darted toward Leon from behind his back, hoping to distract Leon from attacking Walter.

“Know your place!” Leon snorted and launched another punch at Denzel.

“Baam!”

The spiritual energy around his fist instantly tore through Denzel’s attack and continued to dart toward his chest.

Denzel knew that he was no match for Leon and only leaped into action to help Walter.

He immediately backed away to dodge Leon’s attack, but he miscalculated the difference between their power and though he reacted in time, the aftermath of Leon’s attack still struck him.

“Ugh!” He spat a mouthful of blood and fell backward, paling.

His effort was not wasted, though. He managed to buy Walter enough time to narrowly escape Leon’s attack and crawl up from the ground.

“Let’s go!” Walter shouted in fear.

Like the others, he also managed to conclude that Leon reached the Advanced Overlord State and in the face. of such absolute strength, no one in the Fields could win against Leon. If they stayed, they would meet their demise.

Instantly, Walter lost all will to fight and hurried outside despite the overwhelming pain in his chest.

“Running so soon? You won’t get away!” Leon sneered and leaped toward Walter.

“How dare you?!”

The other Fields snapped out of the initial shock and launched themselves at Leon while firing up their true energy, forming a powerful defensive wall to shield Walter.
