“M- Mister Wolf, the Northern King is dead and we are just his subordinates. We were only following orders. We never mean to participate in any of these. Please have mercy and spare our lives!” Jackson and the other Lowes kneeled and pleaded.

Leon withdrew from his thoughts and turned to look at Vincent. “Uncle Vincent, I’ll leave them to you!

Please look into their background and punish anyone who has done unspeakable deeds! As for the ones who are innocent, please let them go!”

“Sure. I’ll go now, then!” Vincent nodded, before leaving with his men and the Lowes.

Once they left, Melvin, the elders, and members of the Youngs kneeled before Albert.

Leon was Iris’s boyfriend and since he reached the Advanced Overlord State and defeated Daisy and Harold, Albert, Gilbert, and Iris would be able to return to the Youngs with his help, especially when there were still a lot of members among the Youngs who supported Albert.

At that very moment, Albert was once again the leader of the Youngs.

“Albert, I was wrong. Please show mercy seeing how we’re family,” Melvin pleaded.

He thought that Leon was far too weak to compete with Harold and placed his bet on Harold, only to be proven wrong.

Leon somehow reached the Advanced Overlord State, marking his place on the very top of the food chain and since Harold also died at the hands of Leon, Melvin recognized that he lost everything.

He was filled with regret but knew that it was all too late.

“So you’re talking about family now. Why didn’t you think of your family earlier on? Back when you were helping Harold in all the evil plans he had against Iris and Leon, why didn’t you stop for a second to think that we are your family?” Albert roared, getting increasingly frustrated as he spoke.

He would have killed Melvin right there and then if Melvin was not his brother by blood.

“Albert, I was wrong! I know that now. Please give me a chance to make it up to you,” Melvin said in shame.

“No way!” Albert scoffed and paused to think, as though he took the time to summon his courage.

“Melvin, you’re my brother. You may not care, but I can’t repeat your mistake! Out of my love for you, I’ll spare your life. From now on, we are going our separate ways! The descendants of the first and second bloodlines are cutting all ties!”

“What?! Albert, don’t do that!” Melvin gaped when he realized that Albert wanted to chase the descendants of the second bloodline out of the family.
