“Kid, hand over the Power Method now and I can spare your life! Don’t worry! A man of my status woul d never lie!” Sean said greedily, all the while deciding that he would destroy Leon’s power once he obtain ed the methods and break every single bone in Leon’s body. That way, he would have fulfilled his promi se of sparing only Leon’s life.

“You want my Advanced Power Method? Dream on!” Leon scoffed.

“Very well! You asked for this!” Enraged, Sean was about to command his men to attack Leon, when C ynthia took a step forward.

“Hang on! Leon, if they want the method, just hand it over to them,” Cynthia said.

She knew that Leon owned Absolute Methods and an Advanced Power Method meant nothing to Leon, so it was a small price to pay if it meant that Leon could survive. On top of that, Leon might be able to

bargain and get Cynthia out of the wedding so that she would not have to marry Theodore.

She stared at Leon with anticipation.

“Yeah! Leon, Cynthia’s right. The Lapwoods are far too strong. You can’t beat them!”

“Just hand the Advanced Power Method to them and strike a deal with them somehow.”

Below the stage, Iris and Ruth shouted as they both agreed with Cynthia and thought that it was more i mportant for Leon to stay alive.

“It’s over!”

“Looks like the Lapwoods are going to get the Advanced Power Method.”

The people around them sighed and turned to look at Sean enviously.

Since Leon’s power was far from being comparable to the Lapwoods‘ guards, he would not stand a cha nce against them and even a fool would hand the method over to save his own life.

“Well? Are you handing the method over or not?” Sean questioned smugly as though he already had L eon wrapped around his fingers.

“Mister Lapwood, don’t you think you are too young to have dementia? I’ve told you that I’ll never hand

the method over! Dream on!” Leon said in contempt.

He was not as naive as Cynthia and the others and knew that Sean would never let him go unscathed e “What?”

Jaws dropped all around him.

Everyone thought that he would hand the method over and was surprised that Leon refused Sean again.

Cynthia, Ruth, and Iris were all confused as to why Leon would be so reluctant to give up an Advanced Method, when it was not that valuable to him, and insisting to face Sean off would be suicidal.
