Chapter 1229

“N- No way!”

The entire plaza fell into silence as the people gaped at Leon in disbelief.

They all saw Leon was struck in the chest and all thought that Leon was going to die, yet not only did Leon survive, he defeated Chester with a single blow.

It was so inconceivable that none of them would have believed that it actually happened if they did not see it with their own eyes.

“Leon’s fine!”

“Thank god!”

Cynthia and Iris recovered from the initial shock and broke down in joyful tears.

They finally realized that Leon challenged the Lapwoods because he had what it took to win and they all underestimated Leon.

“How’s this possible?”

On the opposite end, Sean and the Fields stood still as though they were struck by lightning.

The three Lapwoods guards were their best shot at defeating Leon, yet all three of them were severely injured by Leon. The martial artists left who could fight were hardly comparable to Leon in strength and they were all devastated.

“W- Woah!”

“Could it be that Leon surpassed the Peak Overlord State?!”

The crowd turned to look at Leon in fear and chaos erupted all around the wedding venue.

If their assumption was right, Leon accomplished the possible and it was hard to believe that it was physically possible for a person to become this powerful at such an age.

“No! That’s not right! He’s in the Advanced Overlord State at best. He only managed to fend off my attack because he has a defensive tool,” Chester laid sprawled on the ground as he continued to spew blood from his mouth. He struggled to get up but was unable to do so no matter how hard he tried.

“What?”

“Leon has a defensive tool?”

Shocked, the people around glanced at one another in disbelief.

“That’s right!” Chester said weakly.

He knew the depth of Leon’s power better than most after the fight earlier and he could tell that Leon only managed to survive his attack unscathed with the help of a defensive tool.

“That’s how!”

Everyone started to recall how Leon was completely unaffected by the strike to his chest.

Sean and the Fields finally realized how Leon managed to defeat all three of the Lapwoods guards, but it was too late.
