Chapter 1236

Orvald had a cold look in his eyes as Elder Young, Leon, and the others mumbled in discussions. He quickly realized what Elder Young and the others were planning.

“You’re trying to escape? It won’t be so easy!” Orvald scoffed as he waved. After that, the four experts he brought over immediately fanned out, sealing any path of escape.

“Despicable!”

Looking at the path behind them being cut off, Elder Young, Benedict, and the others felt a chill in their hearts!

“Leon, you idiots! We asked you to run, but you kept on being stubborn and refused to listen! Look at it now. You can’t even run if you wanted to!” Elder Young berated in frustration, unable to stop himself from silently cursing at Leon’s failure.

“Elder Young, don’t worry. They can’t do anything to me!” Leon responded calmly. However, he actually felt a little anxious inside, feeling nowhere near as confident as he looked.

Elder Young, Benedict, and the others had sour looks on their faces when they heard that!

They had all seen Leon being heavily injured by Orvald in one blow!

Leon had not even been able to stand up to a single attack from Orvald, but he was trying to act like he was in charge!

They could not understand where Leon got his courage from!

“Brat, there’s no need to try and talk your way out of this! I’ll give you one last chance. If you give the method and treasure over, I’ll consider sparing you from dying! Otherwise, you’ll bear the consequences!”

Orvald acted like he was far above everyone there. He looked at Leon like he was looking at an ant.

His face was full of disdain.

That was the reality as well. With his power at the Emperor State, anyone at the peak Overlord State or below was no different than an ant to him. Leon was not even at the peak Overlord State!

There was no way he would see Leon as a threat at all!
