Chapter 1330
The Ex-Husband's Revenge
â17 million!â Willie gritted out as he was forced to compete against Leon to the very end to preserve his pride, and he secretly hoped that Leon would give up at this point.
â21 million!â Leon said coldly.
âWhy! Damn you!â Willieâs expression darkened.
21 million was an enormous amount even to him and he could not understand how Leon would have so much money.
The crowd around them stirred.
â21 million? This kid must have too much money in his hands!â
âHe has to be a fool!â
âYeah! This jadeite is bound to be of lower quality and even if it contains three colors, itâll be worth 12 million at best, and he has been foolish enough to raise the price to 21 million!â
The people were all shocked and turned to look at Leon as though he was a fool.
If Leon spent a million on the rock and it turned out to contain a piece of ThreeâColored Jadeite, he might be able to make a few hundred of thousand in profit, yet he raised the price all the way to 21 million which would not be compensated no matter the quality of the jadeite inside.
Willie sighed a breath of relief at the comments around him.
Though he was fully capable of rising the price a few more times, the others made it clear that the red jadeite would be worth 12 million at best. If he continued to bid against Leon, he would make a fool of himself for spending so much on a piece of garbage and he would not able to explain himself to his family. Hence, he decided to give up.
âIf you want to embarrass yourself so much, I wonât stop you! You can have it!â Willie sneered.
âYouâll know whoâs the fool when I get a topâquality jadeite out of this!â Leon scoffed.
He was confident in his spiritual senses and knew that the jadeite hidden inside the rock he selected would only surpass the quality of the FourâColored Jadeite he found from the first rock he selected.
âTopâquality jadeite?â
âHe is still dreaming about that? He must be crazy!â
âForget that! Heâs probably a moron for thinking that!â
The crowd burst into laughter as they took Leon for a fool.
The exposed corner of the red jadeite was of such poor quality that it was not worth much no matter what was underneath the surface.
âYouâre all talk! Letâs see how a fool like you can end up with a piece of topâquality jadeite!â Willie smirked mockingly.
