Chapter 1374

All of a sudden, Leon raised his arm, and a few needles flashed through the air, gleaming in the sun as they sped straight toward Willie!

“What’s this?” Willie was stunned by this. He never thought that Leon would have prepared secret weapons, and since they were so close to each other, by the time he snapped out of his stupor, it was already too late!

Thankfully, he was not too far off from Leon’s power level, and he managed to shift a few inches to his side. at the last possible minute, barely dodging Leon’s needles.

At the same time, Leon followed up with his attack, channeling his energy into a powerful wave that surged toward Willie’s back.

Willie had no choice but to turn around and retaliate by sending a punch toward Leon.

“Thud!”

With a loud slam, Leon’s first wave of energy managed to stop Willie’s attack, whereas his second wave of energy pushed past the first and struck squarely in the center of Willie’s chest.

Willie spat out a mouthful of blood as his entire body was propelled backward and landed in a heap on the ground.

Leon retaliated with a vengeance, without a single hint of mercy in his attack. Willie was not sure how many of his ribs were broken during this process, but it was clear he suffered significant internal injuries.

“Oh, thank God!” Ruth could not help letting out a sigh of relief after her near experience with death.

“Ruth, are you okay?” Iris, Snow, and Cynthia approached her.

Iris was the most concerned out of them–Ruth stepped in to save her, and as grateful as she was for Ruth’s help, she could not help being worried about Ruth’s injury.

“I’m fine, just hurt myself a little bit over here. Don’t worry!” Ruth said, smiling. The three of them let out sighs of relief when they saw that she seemed to be her usual self.

Leon felt as though a weight was lifted off his shoulders.

Then, being reminded of how Willie attempted to ambush Ruth, a fiery rage ignited within him, and he strode toward Willie.

“What! What are you doing, you punk? Don’t come near me!” Willie shrieked in horror when he saw the rage in Leon’s eyes. An expression of fear and terror crossed his face.

“You bastard, Willie Liberton! Not only did you bully innocent people over and over, but now, you even tried to attack them behind their backs! This is against the basic principles of the Gangster World, and I will make you pay the price for this! I shall rid you of your power level right here and right now!” Leon snarled, the anger in his eyes so evident it was as though he wanted nothing more than to kill willie right on the spot.

However, murdering people was not something to be proud of, and since Leon always held his integrity high, he chose not to do so, and instead decided to rid Willie of his power level to teach him a lesson.

“What? No, you can’t do that!” Willie was terrified to hear this. Although Leon broke both his legs and rendered him wheelchair–bound the day before, he could easily recover from that with a few months‘

rest, and this was not too big of a deal at all.

However, if Leon were to rid him of his powers and render him utterly powerless, not only would he lose the right to his family’s inheritance, but he would also lose his status and influence!

This was a consequence that he could not bear!
