The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 1614 Charlie hurried over when he was contacted by Rodney. He met with the Southern Boss and Rodney in the living room and bowed respectfully. “Southern Boss. Mister Spears.”

“Charlie, why are you here alone? Where is the Black Gorilla?” The Southern Boss scowled.

“I’ve sent him to assassinate Leon Wolf, Sir,” Charlie explained before explaining the entire situation..

“I see! How did it go, then? Has he succeeded?” the Southern Boss said.

“Well… I haven’t gotten any updates from him yet, so I’m not sure what is going on at the moment, but I don’t think it will be an issue for him to get rid of Leon, who’s far weaker than him! Even if he hasn’t killed Leon, he must be pretty close to getting it done by now!” Charlie said.

It had been some time since the Black Gorilla was sent to assassinate Leon, and though Charlie had tried calling him to ask for updates, the Black Gorilla had been unreachable. Hence, he assumed that the Black Gorilla was tracking Leon and had turned off his phone in the process.

He was not worried about Black Gorilla being in danger because Leon was far too weak to pose a threat to the Black Gorilla. The only accident that could potentially occur was for the Black Gorilla to let Leon slip away accidentally. There was no possible way that Leon could defeat the Black Gorilla, who was in the Emperor State.

“Good! Once Leon is gone, you need to take control of Cynthion Group as soon as possible, Charlie, to prevent things from going wrong!” the Southern Boss ordered.

“Yes! Don’t worry. I won’t disappoint you!” Charlie said confidently.

“Very well! Do this right and you will be rewarded handsomely.” The Southern Boss laughed.

Just then, they heard footsteps approaching, and the same guard who had come in earlier returned hastily.

“Southern Boss, Mister Rodney, something went wrong…”

“What now?” The Southern Boss froze and turned to exchange nervous looks with Rodney.

“The Dragon Corps has made another announcement saying that they have found solid proof of the Black Gorilla’s crimes and will be locking him away for three years…” the guard reported.

“What?!”

The Southern Boss, Charlie, and Rodney were all shocked.

They were just talking about the Black Gorilla, and all thought that the assassination of Leon would go smoothly. To their bewilderment, not only had the Black Gorilla failed, he had been captured and imprisoned by the Dragon Corps, which they thought was impossible.
