“So what Mister Wolf said before was true. The scars on her face were burn marks. They had nothing to do with Elegante’s cosmetics!”

Hearing Lacey reveal the truth, everyone was shocked.

They thought that Lacey and the long–faced man were victims!

So, they were sympathetic, and quite a few of them were on the side of the sibling pair. They ended up forcing Leon and Elegante to take responsibility for the matter!

However, they finally understood that they were used by the long–faced man!

They almost ended up being accomplices in destroying Elegante!

If Leon’s medical skills were not so amazing, Elegante might have ended up having to shut down!

“Who ordered you to trap our company?!” Leon asked Lacey in a serious voice.

“I–it was him!” Lacey pointed at the long–faced man.

“What? I–I never did that! Lacey, your scars were a result of using Elegante’s cosmetics. They aren’t burn marked! Don’t speak nonsense!” The long–faced man’s expression changed dramatically as he hurriedly tried to deny the matter.

He knew very well that their plan to frame Elegante failed. However, as long as Lacey insisted that Elegante were responsible for her scars, there was nothing Leon would be able to do about it.

However, he did not know what went wrong with Lacey’s head at that moment. She was accusing him.

“He acted as Lacey’s brother and deliberately framed Elegante. He even instigated us to pressure Elegante with him. We almost ended up harming Elegante Group!”

Everyone was furious to hear all of that. They clenched their teeth as they looked at the long–faced man with anger and hatred.

Looking at all the anger being directed at him, the long–faced man felt the need to retreat.

Leon had already cured Lacey’s scars, and Lacey had betrayed him.

Joel’s plan against Leon already completely failed. There was no need for him to remain there at all!
