“And are you going to kill me? What a joke!” Leon scoffed.

“Stop them!” Angus reacted immediately and stopped the Spears alongside the other Thompsons.

A battle erupted and though Angus and the Thompsons were outnumbered, all the Thompson members present were powerful, being in the Semi-Almighty and Almighty States; the Grand and Fourth elder were both in the Intermediate Almighty State.

Under the leadership of Angus and the two elders, the Thompsons barely managed to stop the Spears as the Southern Boss did not get involved in the battle.

However, due to the difference in number, Angus and his comrades soon found themselves at a disadvantage and they all knew that they would eventually lose.

“Mister Wolf, they’re too powerful! You need to run now while you still have the chance, or it’ll all be too late!” Angus’s heart sank and shouted at Leon, urging him to run.

He knew that the Southern Boss would not let anyone escape alive now that the truth of Yonas’s death was exposed.

At the moment, the only way that they may survive was for Leon to run and for the others to retreat afterward; if they dragged it out until the Southern Boss decided to get involved, everyone present would be slaughtered.

“Run? That won’t be necessary! Uncle Angus, please hold on. I’ll come to help once I kill the Southern Boss,” Leon said before distancing himself from the others to lure the Southern Boss into attacking him.

He already decided to use the Potential Energy Force against the Southern Boss, but the range of attack was too wide and Leon needed to ensure that he would not accidentally harm others.

On top of that, he knew that he needed to eliminate the leader of the Spears first, and once the Southern Boss died or was severely injured, the other Spears would panic; once that was achieved, Leon, who was in the Intermediate Almighty State, could corporate with the Thompsons to defeat all the Spears.
