Chapter 2373
The Ex-Husband's Revenge
âYes, sir!â Chandler and Henry immediately charged toward Rodney and Joel.
The Southern Boss was losing and could no longer pose a threat to Yuri and Iris, so John alone could protect them.
âRodney, Joel, how dare you plot to kill my son! Youâll pay for it today!â August stepped forth with a resentful look in her eyes.
He knew that three Guardians were protecting Joel and Rodney, so August was worried that Henry and Chandler might not be able to stop them on their own. Hence, he led a few skilled martial artists to charge at Henry and Chandler from behind.
Since Rodney and Joel were the masterminds behind Yonasâs murder, this was the perfect chance for August to avenge his son now that Leon turned the table against the Southern Boss, so there was no way that he would let the culprit escape.
As Henry, Chandler, and August approached, they each launched to stop Rodney and Joel from regrouping with the Southern Boss.
âOh no!â Rodney and Joel paled and backed away.
They were both young and powerless to defend themselves from Henry and the others.
Thankfully, apart from the three Guardians that Leon locked up by the Dragon Corps, the remaining three Guardians were all skilled fighters, who might be able to fend off the enemies.
Still, it seemed unlikely that they could break past Augustâs defense.
Meanwhile, Angus followed Leonâs command and led the elders to stop the Hiltons and Spears from regrouping with the Southern Boss and Devon.
The Potential Energy Force that Leon wielded earlier stunned every soul, and with Angusâs interference, the Hiltons and Spears panicked.
Unable to get past the Thompsonsâ defense, the Southern Boss and Devon were left to face Leon and Arthur in the center of the battlefield.
âHiltons, Spears, listen! You have one chance! Iâm a merciful person and if youâre willing to surrender, the Thompsons will spare your lives!â Arthur roared.
He knew that the Hiltons and Spears were merely pawns and not the problem; with both sides reaching a stand-still, Arthur decided it was the time for him to minimize any casualty.
