The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 444
The Ex-Husband's Revenge
As for him and Iris, he would talk about it after he could clear his name!
It was still too early for him to think about that!
âThatâs right. Where are you staying now, Leon? You drank way too much this time. You probably canât
even walk straight. Let me send you home!â Cynthia asked in concern.
âI, I donât have anywhere to stay ar the moment. You can just send me to a hotel nearby,â Leon let out an awkward smile. He was going to
stay at a hotel for a night before he bought a house the next day.
âWhy would you stay at the hotel? Just come stay at my house for a few days!â Cynthia smiled and gra bbed Leonâs arm. She acted very intimately as if she was already Leonâs girlfriend.
Leonâs whole body stiffened at the soft feeling coming from his arm. He felt a bit out of place.
However, before she could reject it, Cynthia dragged him out of the bar.
At the Shear Mansion, Benedict and Harvey were both surprised to see Leon being helped inside by C ynthia. Leon even looked incredibly drunk.
âCynthia, Leon smells of alcohol. What happened to him?â
âOh, he had some unhappy things happen to him, so he accidentally drank too much,â Cynthia explaine d simply, casually brushing over it.
âThen you and him?â.
Benedict had a strange look on his face when he saw how intimately Cynthia was holding Leonâs arm.
Cynthia blushed as she quickly pulled back, âGrandfather, Leon doesnât have anywhere to stay at the m oment. I want to let him stay with us for a few days.â
Leon drank too much.
After leaving the bar, the alcohol got to his head even more. His head was already completely clouded.
However, when he saw Harvey and Benedict, he sobered up quite a bit.
âElder Shear, Iâm so sorry for disturbing you.â Leon smiled bashfully.
He planned on staying at a hotel for the night, but Cynthia forced him over..
He knew that Cynthia meant well, so he accepted it.
âItâs fine, youâre our benefactor, so youâre not an outsider. You donât have to be so polite to us. You can
see this place as your own home. Feel free to stay as long as you want,â Benedict said with a smile bef ore he shot his granddaughter a meaningful look.
âIâll go get a room ready for Leon.â
Cynthiaâs face reddened as she pulled Leon away in a hurry.
After tidying up the room, Cynthia clumsily helped Leon get on the bed.
She was always served since she was young, and it was her first time helping anyone like that.
However, she was perfectly willing to do it for Leon and even felt happy to do it.
Leon was already incredibly drunk. He quickly fell asleep under Cynthiaâs care.
After everything was done, Cynthia was called over by Benedict right as she left Leonâs room.
âDo you need me for something?â Cynthia arrived at the main hall with Benedict.
âCynthia, whatâs happening between you and Leon? Do you like him?â Benedict said thoughtfully.
â× ×â
âYes, ever since he saved me that time, I found myself falling for him.â Cynthia nodded with a blush.
