The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 55
The Ex-Husband's Revenge
The Ex-Husbandâs Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 55 When that happened, Jenson was dumbstruck.
The same could be said for Hilmar and all the other onlookers.
They never dreamed that Bernard, who was safe and sound earlier, vomited so much blood in such a short time that even his constitution and energy plummeted.
Even a layman could see that Bernardâs condition was very serious and his life was at risk!
âDoctor Schwabe, whatâs happening to my grandpa⦠Jensonâs eyes were red and he grabbed Hilmarâs arm.

âIâm not sure. He was fine just earlierâ¦â Hilmar was lost for words.
âWhat do you mean? Youâre a doctor! A famous doctor! Just figure out a way!â Jenson roared in anger.
He panicked and lost his cool completely.
âI canât examine his condition because I donât have any medical equipment with me. My best suggestion is to either call an ambulance or have him sent to the hospital right awayâ¦â Hilmar said as calmly as possible.
Bernardâs situation was completely beyond his expectations. He was not mentally prepared at all and there was nothing he could do to help.
âOkay! We need to take him to the hospital right now!â Jenson finally regained some composure. He ordered two bodyguards to carry his grandfather up and have the old man sent to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment.
âI⦠I probably wonât make it to the hospitalâ¦â Bernardâs voice was weak. He had more and more difficulty breathing, and his face was completely drained of color.
He could sense that his life slipping away, and it would not be long before he would soon see the dying light at the end of the tunnel.
âIâ¦â
Hilmar and Jenson were both silent.
They both knew very well that the question of whether or not the old man would still be alive by the time he reached the hospital would be anyoneâs guess if his physical condition was taken into account!
Moreover, Hilmar was a famous doctor whose expertise in modern medicine was top-notch. It might even be the case that doctors in nearby hospitals might not have the kind of medical skills he has.
If Hilmar was unable to do anything about it, then the doctors at the hospital might not be of much use either!
âThat guy from earlier said that the old man would vomit blood, and his guess turned out to be spot on!â
âYouâre right! He said that his medical skills werenât very good, but his foresight is quite something!â
âDoes he have the ability to predict the future then?â
The onlookers recalled what Leon said earlier and exchanged glances with each other. The look of shock and awe could be seen in each otherâs expressions!
All that discussion gave Jenson a bit of a rude awakening!
âThis is bad! We have to bring that guy back here! He might just be able to save Grandpaâ¦â Jenson woke up from his stupefaction and handed his grandfather over to Hilmar. With no time to spare, he brought his two bodyguards and gave chase in the direction Leon went!
Leon was just about to step out of the park when Jenson and the two bodyguards caught up with him.
âHey, you⦠I mean, Sir! Please wait a minute!â Jenson was already out of breath by the time he rushed over and managed to stop Leon.
âIs something wrong?â Leon looked curiously at Jenson and was baffled at why Jenson was stopping him.
âMy grandpa vomited blood all of a sudden. Please go back there and save himâ¦â Jenson grabbed Leonâs arm and pleaded.
Although Jenson initially thought that Leon was a quack, his grandfatherâs sudden deterioration made Jenson realize that Leon was genuinely skilled, perhaps even reaching Hilmarâs level of expertise!
âWhat? I thought your grandfather was already cured? Why would he vomit blood?â Leon was taken aback.
âI donât know. He vomited blood as soon as you left⦠The point is, my grandfather is in a very critical state right now. Can you please come with me to check on him?â Jenson begged anxiously.
After some hesitation, Leon shook his head and said, â Iâm sorry, but my medical skills arenât good enough. Iâm sorry, but I canât do anything.â
