The Ex-Husband's Revenge
âEnough, Jacob Lowe! Come at me if you can!â Leon said.
âLike I can!!â Jacob thought to himself furiously as he suppressed the urge to curse out loud.
âLeon, you win this time! You can have Elegante Group if you want! I am a busy man and I donât have ti me to waste with you!â Jacob forced a smile and turned to leave reluctantly.
Since Leon reached the Peak Supreme State, he had no means to defeat Leon and staying would only
give Leon the chance to toy with him.
He was not that foolish.
âLeaving already? I wonât let you!â Leon sneered, before darting forward to block Jacobâs way.
âWhat do you think you are doing? Iâve already told you that you can have Elegante Group. What else d o you want?â Jacob questioned sharply.
âWhat do you think? You wanted to break my legs and bring me down on my knees before you, right? I
think itâs a great idea and Iâm contemplating if I should break your right leg, or your left leg first!â Leon s mirked evilly as he walked toward Jacob.
âHow dare you?!â Jacob paled as he regretted challenging Leon in the first place and digging his own g rave in the process.
âYou want to see if I dare to do it?â Leon cracked his knuckles and grinned.
âDo- Donât come any closer,â terrified, Jacob took a few steps back and shouted, âIâm warning you, Leon Wolf. You might be powerful, but you canât afford to cross the Lowes! If you dare to
hurt me at all, my dad will kill you!â
âI donât know if Harold Lowe is going to kill me, but I know that Iâm not letting you go that easily!â Leon smirked devilishly as he narrowed his eyes.
âWhy you!â Jacob was drenched in sweat as he stared into the malicious look in Leonâs eyes. He knew that Leon was supported by various forces and did not fear
the Northern King. If he failed to satisfy Leon, Leon might actually break his legs.
âLeon, just calm down for a moment. Fine! Iâll apologize to you.â Jacob forced a smile, his attitude takin g a sharp turn.
Jacob knew that he had to find a way to escape first, because he could always seek revenge afterward w âWho are you trying to fool? You call that an apology? Get down on your knees to show that you actually Jacobâs expression darkened. âYouâre way out of line here!â
âSo what if I am? Consider it a mercy that I didnât break your legs directly!â Leon said.
Mercy toward oneâs energy was nothing but cruelty to oneself. After all the conflict between him and Jac him suffer.
