The Ex-Husband's Revenge
The Ex-Husbandâs Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 83 Ariel was thunderstruck and her mind instantly became blank.
It never occurred to her that what Michael said was true. She unknowingly became Leonâs girlfriend!
âEnough with that nonsense! Nothing is going on between us at all and heâs not my boyfriend!â Ariel rep rimanded the crowd angrily and tried her best to regain her composure.
At long last, it finally occurred to her that everyone misunderstood her as being in a relationship with Leon because of the incident where Joseph was forced to leave the company. However, that was not her doing and she only took the blame for Irisâs sake!
Leon was also taken aback. He never thought that the trivial matter involving Joseph would lead to that big of a misunderstanding.
âYouâre all mistaken. Iâm not Miss Summersâs boyfriend, and she doesnât interest me⦠âLeon waved his hands again and again in an attempt to clear up the misunderstanding.
âWhat? Did you just say that I donât interest you?â Ariel pointed at him and questioned. Leonâs words in cited her anger within moments of her regaining her composure!
She had an endless stream of suitors that included children of powerful people and young individuals w ith great potential. She was always one to look down on others with her haughty attitude, yet Leon som ehow said that she did not interest him!
It was utterly outrageous!
âI⦠I donât mean it negatively. What Iâm trying to say was that youâre not my typeâ¦â Leon realized that he misspoke and hurriedly rephrased himself to make up for it. Unfortunately, his remarks seemed to be making things much worse than before.
âHowâs that any different?!â Arielâs face turned ashen. Leonâs remarks might not be hurtful, but they wer e extremely insulting!
Ariel viewed herself as a fairâskinned, beautiful woman. No man ought to be able to resist her perfect figure and dropâdead gorgeous looks!
Leon was lucky that she did not explode in anger after uttering such insulting remarks!
âIâm telling the truthâ¦â As Leon sensed the anger and murderous intent in Arielâs eyes, his scalp turned
numb and his voice became increasingly softer.
Iris might be elegant yet somewhat indifferent to the outside world, but she was very gentle and kind, n ot to mention very considerate toward him.
Ariel, on the other hand, was different. The impression he had of her was that she was a strong, sexy, and domineer ing womanâsomeone who would prove to be a challenge for any man to win over!
In terms of which one of them was his type, he would most certainly go for Iris because he did not feel anything toward Ariel at all.
âJerk! The nerve of you to shun me when I never even shunned you for being a sissy!
Go to hell!â
Ariel was incensed. She raised her foot high and stomped down on Leonâs instep, stabbing her high hee with her head held high.
Leon gasped in pain and once again gained firstâ
hand knowledge of how difficult it was to understand women.
As Arielâs figure disappeared from view, a group of male employees clutched at their hearts, almost as if they could already hear their hearts shatter into pieces.
Ariel and Leon might have tried their best to deny everything, but the way they interacted with each other was reminiscent of flirtatious banter, and it seemed as though they q that they were in a relationship!
Michael was so jealous that he grabbed Leonâs collar and threatened, âIâm warning you, Leon. Stop bein âYouâre crazy! I already told you that Iâm not her boyfriend! Itâs not my problem if you donât believe it!â Leon shoved Michael away.
