The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 84
The Ex-Husband's Revenge
The Ex-Husbandâs Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 84 Leon was in a very somber mood after receiving that excruciatingly painful stomp from Ariel earlier, so one would naturally expect him to be pissed at Michael and shrug the man off before walking away.
âDonât act smug, kid! Just wait! This doesnât end here!â Michael fumed as he watched Leonâs rear figure walking further and further away.
Michael could not accept that a bumpkin like Leon led the race to win Arielâs heart, especially since the
former wooed her for the greater part of a year only to be rebuffed!
A highâ
level meeting was held in the conference room that afternoon, which was already full of people when Leon arrived with Gracie. Almost everyone from the companyâs top brass where there, including sales director Michael.
Michael never expected that Leon would be eligible to participate in the meeting, so from time t time, he shot hostile glances in Leonâs direction.
Moments later, the clacking of high heels was heard and Ariel entered the conference room with Iris.
The atmosphere turned silent as soon as Iris showed up.
Iris and Ariel went to the main seats and sat down, with Gracie and Leon taking up the spots next to Iris.
Gracie, being the presidentâs secretary, was responsible for recording the meeting minutes and various other matters, making her an indispensable part of any meeting involving
the president.
Leon, on the other hand, was practically useless since he did not understand anything at all.
âLet me give a short introduction. This is Leon Wolf. Heâs a newlyâ
recruited secretary for the presidentâs department!â
Iris motioned for Leon to stand up and introduced him to everyone.
Her direction for Leon was to train him into becoming the presidentâs assistant in the future. To that end, allowing Leon to gain more experience wit h the companyâs top management would only bode well for his progress.
âThis Mister Wolf here is new to our company. It seems a little inappropriate to ask him to come to a highâlevel meeting, Miss Young.â Michael was first to question her decision because he wanted to use that as a means to thoroughly humiliate Leon.
âAbsolutely. Heâs a newcomer who neither has the professional knowâhow nor the capability to be useful. Isnât it redundant to let him participate in the meeting?â
âI agree. This meeting involves business secrets, so itâs better to be on the safe sideâ¦
The topâ
level executives were very confused because they thought that Leon was not qualified to participate in s level meetings after only joining the company recently.
âWhether or not he has the professional knowânot is immaterial. I want him to participate in the meeting! Am I not allowed to do that?â Iris glanced across the room, and e immediately knew their place and closed their mouths.
âAny other objections, Mister Duvall?â Irisâs gaze finally settled on Michael.
âNone, Miss Youngâ¦â Michael smiled awkwardly. He had plenty of personal objections toward Leon but âLetâs start the meeting then,â Iris proceeded with her short opening remark, âsales are the key economic it is directly related to our profits as well as our prospects for future development. Iâm sure everyone is w reason we are holding this meeting today is to discuss our sales cooperation. Go ahead and explain the details to everyone, Miss Summers.â
Iris glanced at Ariel, who nodded in response and connected her laptop to the projector, and the big screen in front o âNearly eighty percent of the market share in Springfield Cityâs sales channels is currently controlled by three major distributors. Out of the three, the firstâ
ranked distributor is the Wick Group, which controls fortyâ
three percent of the marketâs sales channels. This isnât just limited to cosmetics. It includes also other fie commerce, for example!â
