Chapter 959

“I know! There’s no way we can wait for so long. I need to do everything I can to get rid of Leon for our future!” Harold had a dark look on his face.

He had his hands behind his back as he paced around, deep in thought.

“Dad, I have a good plan!” Jacob suddenly had a moment of inspiration.

“Oh? What’s your plan?” Harold stopped as he looked at his son.

“It’s much harder to avoid a hidden blow! Leon’s cunning and hard to deal with, but we can target Iris instead! He’s Iris’s boyfriend. As long as we can get Iris, he’ll fall right into whatever we set up for him!”

Jacob let out a sinister smile.

“Yes, that’s a good idea! However, Ruth’s currently staying with Iris. If we target Iris, we might end up going against Ruth as well. Then, we might end up making enemies of the Collins! That’s not a good idea!” Harold said darkly.

Even though he was slowly gaining control of the Youngs and was not too afraid of the Collins, he did not want to face the Collins head on at that moment.

At the very least, it was not the time for them to truly fight each other jus yet!

“Then what do we do?” Jacob’s smile froze and he looked a little disappointed.

“Don’t worry, you have a good idea. We can just tweak it a bit, and set up some bait instead!” Harold sneered. A cold glint flashed in his eyes.

At Dragonbay Villas, a luxurious dinner was set up. Leon, Iris, Louisa and Ruth sat down together and got ready to eat.

“How strange! Where’s uncle? Why don’t I see him?” Louisa looked all around in surprise, only just realizing that Gilbert was not at home the whole afternoon.

“My father could be trying to find out about grandfather,” Iris hesitated for a moment. She looked worried.

Leon could tell that Iris was worried, and he asked, “Iris, are you worried about Elder Young?”

“Yes, grandfather’s alone with the Youngs right now. I don’t know how he’s been,” Iris said with some concern.

Elder Young fell sick and was comatose.

When she was still with the Youngs, she was the one taking care of her unconscious grandfather. She fed him. Graham’s medicine on time everyday, hoping he would wake up.

However, she was already kicked out of the Youngs with her father. On top of them, they were already Daisy’s enemies. She did not know if Daisy would have anyone take care of Elder Young!

It was normal for her to be so worried!

“Don’t worry, Elder Young was still the head of the Youngs before, I doubt they would mistreat him,”

Leon consoled.

“Yes, I know. It’s just that Daisy is such a sly person. She might not treat grandfather that well. Dad and I have been hoping that we’d be able to bring grandfather here.”

Iris sighed, her tone was incredibly worried.

“Isn’t that simple?”

Ruth said in a casual manner, “Elder Young’s your grandfather and Mister Young’s father. The two of you have been kicked out, but that doesn’t change your blood relations!”

“Dad, you’re back. Where’d you go just now?” Iris got up to welcome him. Leon and the others followed suit.

“Oh, I went to see Jonah. He agreed to help me get your grandfather out,” Gilbert explained everything briefly.

He was not at home the whole afternoon because he went over to investigate his father’s situation.

Even though he was no longer part of the family, he still used to be a direct descendant. His blood ties to the family were undeniable.

Jonah Young was a direct descendant of the second bloodline, and was Gilbert’s cousin. For family’s sake, Jonah told Gilbert quite a lot about Elder Young.
