Leon felt a chill in his heart when Jonah said that.

He just tried to test Jonah earlier, but Jonah actually invited him in!

It was not hard for Leon to guess that it would not be a good thing.

“Iris, Louisa, wait in the car. We’ll be right out.”

Leon turned to look at Iris, Louisa and Ruth. As he said that, he secretly shot Ruth a look.

Ruth immediately understood what Leon meant.

However, Iris and Louisa were completely oblivious, not knowing what Loen’s look meant!

“No, I want to go too!” Louisa said happily. There was no way she would miss out on something so exciting.

Iris was still fine. She was not a troublemaker like Louisa.

Even though she wanted to see her grandfather as soon as possible, she was always calm and intelligent. She knew that Louisa and herself were both too weak. They would not only fail to be of any help if they followed, but they would burden Leon and Gilbert instead.

“Sure! I’ve already diverted all the guards away. It’s very safe inside. You can all go in together!” Jonah smiled and said.

Even Iris was starting to get tempted when Jonah said that.

“No need! Iris, Louisa, just wait in the car!” Leon forced out a smile. His heart started to sink.

Even though he did not know what Jonah was trying to do, he felt like Jonah was making it too obvious.

They were here to save someone, they were not here on holiday!

There was definitely a problem with how eager Jonah seemed!

Even worse was the fact that he wanted Iris and the girls to stay in the car so he could slip away while Jonah was not prepared.

However, other than Ruth, the others did not understand what he wanted.

“It’s fine! Leon, Iris and Louisa are my nieces. Do you think the Youngs would harm one of our own?

“Jonah could vaguely tell that Leon was suspicious, so he started to look unhappy.

“Alright, let’s stop wasting time! Since Jonah says it’s very safe, come with us if you want to!” Gilbert said decisively.

He planned on having Iris and Louisa stay behind, but since Jonah already diverted all the guards away, it was not a big deal for Iris and Louisa to follow them in.

“Iris, uncle already agreed. Let’s go in and take a look,” Louisa looked incredibly happy as she pulled at Iris’s arm.

Iris really wanted to see Elder Young, so she hesitated for a moment, not rejecting it.

“No! You can’t go in!” Leon panicked. He pulled Iris’s wrist and Louisa’s arm, stopping the two of them.

“Leon, what are you doing?”

Iris and Louisa were both surprised, not understanding what Leon was up to.

“Iris, Louisa, there’s something wrong about this. You can’t go in!”

Since things were already at that stage, Leon no longer cared as he decided to just be straightforward.

“Something wrong? What’s wrong?”

Iris and Louisa looked uncertain.

Leon was speechless.

Even though he could see that Jonah was acting strangely, it was still speculation in the end. He still did not know what Jonah wanted, so he had no explanation.
