“Why don’t you all come over tomorrow for a barbecue? You can swim and I will do some grilling,” Liam offered.

Everyone loved the idea and agreed.

“Do you think you can talk Joan into making that blueberry cheesecake she made last summer?” Brett asked.

“You ask her! She loves you!” Liam scoffed.

Brett got out his phone and texted her, quickly receiving a confirmation.

“She loves me, what can I say?” Brett said, puffing out his chest.

Brett and Nick went to go get beers and sodas. When they had left, the country band that was playing started a song that Liam liked. He took Maggie’s hand, leading her to the dirt dance floor.

A few other couples were dancing, and Liam took her in his arms and held her close as they took the floor, whispering to her.

“Maggie, I can’t wait any longer. I have to tell you that I have totally fallen in love with you. I know it’s so soon, but I have to let you know that you have my heart!”

Maggie looked up at him with tears in her eyes. “Are you serious?” she whispered.

“I love you, Maggie.” He looked deep into her eyes.

Maggie swallowed and whispered back, “I love you too, Liam…”

Liam felt his heart grow about fifty sizes in his chest as he leaned down and kissed her gently, but full of emotion. They kept dancing, oblivious to the world around them.

While they were dancing, Brett and Nick came back with the drinks and looked at where the rest of them were staring. Brett was in shock as he saw Maggie and Liam dancing in the crowd.

“What the hell is going on?” Brett asked.

Makayla sniffed as she took Mike’s hand. “She’s found her other half. They are in love!”

“Liam Olsen doesn’t dance! Ever!” Brett said, confused.

“And he doesn’t do PDA or have girlfriends or go on dates!” Nick exclaimed.

“Well, I guess things change when you are in love,” Hannah said simply.

“He didn’t even dance with that bitch Tessa! Or kiss her in public!” Brett said in awe.

The group watched as Maggie and Liam danced through another song and kissed as they came back to the table.

Maggie went and got some of her favorite food in the whole world, funnel cakes, and set them down with forks for everyone to share.

The new group of friends laughed as they finished their plans for the next day, deciding who was bringing what and what Liam would be grilling.

When they had finished with the fried dessert, Liam leaned over and whispered in Maggie’s ear, “Let’s go home so I can make love to you…”

Maggie nodded her head, not able to form words through her emotions. Liam stood up and took her hand, pulling her close for a kiss.

“I love you, Liam. Take me home…,” she whispered.

He didn’t need another word from her. He took his leave, turned, and quickly walked away with Maggie tucked under one arm and the stuffed animal under the other.

It seemed like an eternity before they finally got to the car. Liam felt his resolve slowly deteriorating and pushed her against the vehicle.

“I have to kiss you now or I will lose it!” he whispered in a strangled voice before taking her in a long slow kiss.

“I need you, Liam! Let’s go!” Maggie urged.

Liam helped her into the car and drove away as fast as he could. Maggie kept her hand on his leg, drawing circles ever higher until his heart was racing.

Somehow, they got home without Liam crashing the car. They stumbled into the house, kissing each other as they finally got to his room. He saw the love in her eyes, and it made him feel invincible.

“I love you so much, Maggie!”

“I love you too, Liam,” she whispered back.

“Can I show you?”

Maggie nodded and touched his chest. The sensation set him on fire and all he could think about was being with her forever.

Liam peeled the denim jacket off her, threw it to the floor, and started kissing her neck. Maggie was feeling hot as she ran her fingers under his shirt to feel his back as he sucked on her neck.

She pulled the material over his head as he did the same with her top. Maggie started kissing his chest and gripping his arms as he peppered kisses down her collarbone.

He pulled her closer, trying to feel as much of her soft warm skin as he could. He guided them to the bed and gently laid her down on the comforter.

Liam reached behind her and unclasped the plain white bra that she wore. It was probably the most beautiful thing he had ever seen a woman wear.

“Just keep going, Liam! I need you!”

She smiled back and wrapped a leg around his waist, pulling him closer to her. He kissed her and pushed in harder. Maggie groaned and he continued, giving everything he could to her.

After a few minutes, Liam could feel Maggie’s walls starting to tighten, and her breathing became more erratic.
